Some of the worst customer service ever with the exception of a small handful of employees. If you call you'll probably have the phone ringing off the hook for about a half an hour, if they EVER answer. Call, they won't answer, but if you show up, they're all standing at the counter right next to the phone... I work in a local shop that is very fast paced, I don't need to be sitting on the phone when I have work in front of me. They fired one of their best employees recently and it really hasn't been the same. Better go to Ram Auto right down the street, Mike is great.

Worst customer service of a retailer in Thayer. Walk in with 3 people behind the counter. Not only are you unacknowledged, no one speaks to you when your standing in front of them. Exceptional customer service gets you return buisness. Even when you have the highest prices, and you do.

The lady suggested that I use metal zip ties instead of plastic push pins. She's a genius thankyou it worked perfect.

For the most part a very nice place, most of the staff is friendly and they try and help you to the best of there abilities.

I went in to the store today prepared to purchase a new battery for my car. I was helped by Matt, the store manager. I briefly explained the trouble I was having and he immediately grabbed the tester and said “let’s see what’s going on.” He tested the battery, which showed good, but he pointed out that my problem was likely a poor connection due to some corrosion and wear on the terminals. He took the time to put new terminals on both battery cables for me, cleaned the battery, and hooked it back up for me. My car started right up. I am so grateful for Matt’s help, kindness, and honesty today. He could have just sold me a new battery, but he took time to check and fix my issue and instead of spending well over $100, I only spent $19. Thank you Matt!!

Went in to ask about a part I needed for my Land Rover on Friday afternoon... the man at the counter was talking to another man on my side of the counter and I assumed he was another customer so I waited patiently at the register while they continued their conversation about sports for a couple minutes without acknowledging my presence. The man at the counter then turned to me to ask what he could help with and the other man just lingered there. While he was looking something up it became apparent that the man on my side of the counter was actually an employee there also, just wearing regular clothes. The part I had asked about originally wasn't coming up so he suggested I order another one that cost hundreds of dollars more. I went outside to make a phone call and came back in to ask him to look up another part that was likely the issue and much cheaper. Without using the computer to look it up he told me that this part did not exist and that I would need to order the $337 part he previously suggested and they could get it Monday... then the plain clothes guy says I need to have my car scanned for codes so I said "don't you guys do that?" By now there is another lady employee with tattoos standing there also (not the helpful older lady who is usually there)... They said "yes, we do." but refused me and said I would need to take mine to a mechanic while scoffing at the type of vehicle I drive. I leave... get the exact $40 part I needed from another store in a neighboring town with no problem... they had it the next day and it was fixed by Saturday afternoon. If I had went with what these geniuses said, I'd be sitting here with a broken part waiting another 2 days on one that wouldn't even have fixed the problem AND I'd be out another $300+tax... Sadly, it's worth the drive to another town for auto parts because this location is lacking in knowledge and respect.

Not too good today! Promise part to be in this morning. Was not. The problem is I was in Mountain Home today and could have picked the part up there. Foolishly trust that the part would me there as Promised. If only they had bothered to call and tell me, rather than waiting for me to come in expecting the part to be there. Some pretty good folks work here. they just need a better system of tracking parts.

Was looking to drop off a dead trolling motor battery originally purchased at the Thayer WalMart (nearly a decade earlier). Although the battery had WalMart markings, the Thayer WalMart wouldn't accept it without a receipt (even though I wasn't looking for a refund of the "core charge', just a place to responsibly dump a battery). I tried the O'Reilly store in Thayer and they accepted the battery and even gave me a payment for the core of $10! Really satisfied they would go "the extra mile" for someone they had never seen before.

The sweetest young man at O'Reilly's in Thayer. MO just helped me out with changing the lights on my license tag. I was stopped by police last night and didn't even know the lights were not working! Zane helped me out by selecting the correct lights, then even helped me change them! What a super nice guy and very helpful! Great job Zane and O'Reilly's.

My experience with the O'Reilly's here in Thayer was pathetic. Being an older woman, I am accustomed to the employees volunteering to help with whatever products I purchase, nope not here. He told me "just read the directions on the can" and walked back to his perch. I'll use NAPA from now on.

Went for a car battery, walked out without one, 160.00 + tax...got the same battery for 109.00 out the door at Ellis battery in Poplar Bluff, prices are too high at O' Reilly's.

Prices are usually the best in town. If they don’t have what you need they will the next morning. Great service!
