The people at Legacy know what they're doing and they're cheap! This is the first review I've ever posted so that in itself should speak volumes. Oh yeah, I should mention the only way I even found these people is due to a blow out late at night, on a weekend, after 3 hang ups from other towing services. Josh showed up in 15 minutes and had me back on the road. Their price was 1/3 the price I was quoted by the previous auto places that hung up on me. Since then, they've put me on a set of tires and fixed my heat.
Not being at fault, My truck had to be towed to the legacy Auto body & towing shop because my neighbor's car rolled down their driveway and hit my truck. (Insurance involved) The shop has had my truck for 3 1/2 months so far and still going. I've been told every week or every 2 weeks that my truck will be ready in 2 weeks. I've explained to the shop that this is my only vehicle, and I am in desperate need of having my vehicle back. I've also explained that I am on disability and a single mother of a 2-year-old. I have had 2 court hearings so far I almost missed and doctor's appointments that had to be cancelled that are much needed for myself and my 2-year-old who has been sick. I've been struggling to find a way to go anywhere. I've missed out on $120 a week of work since my truck has been in the shop which cuts into money I need to care for my daughter. The shop hasn't offered reasonable timing or a loaner vehicle. I'm left without completely, wondering when I'm going to have my truck back with no definite answers. I've never had any shop hold a vehicle this long, understand that things happen but I've never had this many excuses either, especially after I had worked at a body shop myself, I know how the process works. I would say this is quite ridiculous. I've been advised on talking to a lawyer, which I might do. I don't like being dragged along.
Called them to tow a car off my property they then start calling people that don’t own the car or my property and have people that don’t own the car start showing up at my house. So they like to share private information and send people other than themselves to ur property! I was told over the phone by someone answering their phone that they had called someone that was neither the owner of the vehicle or myself at which point I canceled service with them.
They gave me a quote, told me that it would take a couple of weeks to pull a few small dents, repaint a door, 2 rear quarters & a fender flare, & fix the sunroof & sliding back glass. They kept it for 2 months, didn't paint the fender flare, pull a dent in the tailgate or repair the sunroof or sliding back glass & then charged me $50 less than the full amount. I wasn't looking for a discount. I just wanted a complete job, done right. I can't imagine how long it would take them to do a big job. Then, they were nasty to me when I complained about the incomplete, subpar job.
