This is an amazing family operated VW mechanic shop. Josh is very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He will absolutely be able to take care of your VW needs. His family doesn’t just work on VWs they live the lifestyle and it shows in his work.
There are not many shops that have the knowledge to work on modern Audis and air cooled VWs. Hunter Automotive can successfully accomplish both! Dedicated years and experience prove that this is the shop for your GTI, Quattro, Super Beetle and Bus! Like all small specialty shops, appointments are helpful. That said, they are also a godsend to stranded bus travelers.
So far not a lot of status going on drop my daughter's car off there to get work done and that's why we were there no status on the car yet they're working on it this week hopefully and we'll get some information. They are a great service rep so far great contact great customer service more to follow
Great family run shop with excellent prices and attention to detail...VW air/water-cooled & Audi enthusiasts...it's worth the drive from Kansas City if you want to take care of your German baby.
Robert saved the day and my trip! My 87' Westy ran into some CV Joint issues. He helped to get me on the road to finish my drive out to Salt Lake City, Utah from my home in Loveland Ohio. His shop is a family run setup and they run a clean, organized, and efficient business at a honest price. Definitely hard to find a shop like this these days!
