Absolutely outstanding customer service! Late on a very cold Friday afternoon my alternator failed while travelling from central Illinois to Des Moines. Within an hour Brandon and his wife towed my car to his shop and made sure that I had a warm place to wait for my ride to pick me up. But here's the really remarkable part: he was able to get a replacement alternator, but it was for a different model, so he drove to Quincy to pick up the right one and then drove back to Canton and stayed late to install it for me - several hours after the close of business. Very grateful for his help and exceptional service. If I lived anywhere in NE Missouri, Ace Auto & Towing would be my ONLY choice for auto service. Highly recommend.
Be very weary coming here. Brought two separate vehicles two separate times and both ended up far worse for ware, to the point where one vehicle was totaled (engine) then took no responsibility for their mess up. Staff was rude and unprofessional, go absolutely anywhere else.
I cannot say enough good things! we had a breakdown at nine minutes until their autobody shop closed and their tow truck was able to come right out and take care of getting my vehicle towed to the shop with an idea of what was already going wrong before looking at the vehicle based off my account! You can tell that a high-level of experience with vehicles plays into properly diagnosing a vehicles issues and they know their stuff. The staff was so courteous and kind, and I really appreciate their ability to help in a difficult moment!
I was stranded on the highway near Ace Elder 150 miles from home in Iowa. They squeezed me in after a couple day but then got it diagnosed and fixed within 24 hours. I proceeded to drive down to Florida which was my destination. My car drove like a charm for a straight 1,200 miles! Thank you Aaron and Jamie!!!! 😃
My truck had a horrible noise (metal on metal). I took it to them, they had it for a month and said the noise is my trim was coming off. I took it home and 2 days later the same noise came back. Took it to another shop and it ended up being ball joints, wheel bearing, and tie rod. I even asked multiple times to check the ball joints. Will never take anything to them again.
Ace Elder Automotive is fair, knowledgeable and curious. I have had excellent, reliable service from them whether it was automotive repair or emergency towing. Regardless if you are stuck in the snow or broke down on the road Ace Elders will pick your vehicle up properly on a flat bed and fix it right. Don't let just anybody with a tow truck drag you car or truck across the pavement to a second rate garage where you are at their mercy. Call Ace Elder who is connected with a NAPA parts store for fair, expert, experienced service that I have found to be far superior to the rest. I have been ripped off before, but Elders saved me. I haven't gone to anyone else since. Take from a satisfied customer for years. Are you stuck? Broke down? Or just in need scheduled service? They will save you too!
Tracy is very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. If you do not like great people and good reliable work, this is not a place for you. I highly recommend this place
On a road trip, with major breakdown needing immediate repair. These guys were knowledgeable, courteous, and reasonably priced. They went out of their way to get us back on the road ASAP. We would definitely use their services again—without question!
