Derek is one of the best humans and car mechanics you’ll ever meet. He genuinely cares about helping people and goes above and beyond for his job. It was 9:30 pm when our car broke down in the middle of nowhere on the middle of our road trip cross country and it is no accident that God let us break down minutes from Redemption Auto Repair. He ran out quickly to check if the fix would be easy and then helped us get to a safe spot to sleep for the night and he offered to pick the car up early the next morning. He had us fixed and back on the road my 9:30 the next morning. Unheard of! AND very honest and great cost. We drive through this area often and I know we will be back if we have anymore car issues.

Wow these guys were great! My car needed a new battery and some of the fuses needed to be replaced while we were on a road trip. They got it done the same day so we could get back on the road. I am so grateful.
My daughter found herself in a peculiar position with a broken down vehicle on the side of I-70 at H highway with a failed alternator that left her stranded. The location was right in the middle of her trip from St Joseph to Columbia as she was heading back to Mizzou. On my way to rescue my daughter I had her ping the closest mechanics to her location. I called Redemption Auto Repair in hopes that they may help diagnose and possibly fix vehicle. Derrick was fantastic to work with and even met us on the side of the highway and hooked up a jumper box to get us to his shop a couple miles away. He scoured locations to find the right alternator and had it changed quickly once the alternator arrived. He also fixed a cracked serpentine belt he discovered. Outstanding customer service and very reasonable considering we were stranded on the side of highway. Highly recommend! I hope I don’t have another stalled vehicle in that area on the interstate but if I do I know I have a trustworthy mechanic nearby. Thanks again!
