Get honest service at a reasonable price

I have been dealing with Marks Tire Bargains for quite sometime. After purchasing a very expensive set of tires from therm. The tires starting wearing a lot faster than they should. During inclement weather, the tires did not perform as they should. And the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Josh was very rude in addressing my concerns. When I initially brought the truck in for the first tire rotation, because of how quickly the tires were wearing. He told me to call the manufacturer that it wasn’t his problem and he hears it all the time. Knowing that I have purchased several sets of tires and have done business with them spending large amounts of money in the past. I was shocked. Shortly there after one of the tires was punctured, and could not be repaired . Once again, I discussed the issue with the concerning tread wear and did not want to have the tire replaced because the tires were unsafe. Josh‘s response was I hear it all the time. It’s funny they are in the business of selling tires, but they don’t wanna go to bat for the consumers that are purchasing them. I was very taken back and offended by his response. And left very disappointed in how Marks Bargain Tire conducted business. After contacting the manufacturer, Mark was put into a position to address the issues. That Josh was reluctant to do. The manufacturer offered an insulting settlement that I refused due to the overall experience between Marks and Toyo tire manufacturing, Please be aware when you purchase new tires from Marks bargain tire there is essentially no warranty and they will not assist you when there is an issue with the tires. Mark was put in a situation where he had to respond to my concerns due to being the dealer who installed the tires. I will not be going back to Marks for any future tires. And recommend getting any warranty in writing from them at the time of purchase.

Tried this place out for my new tires because of the reviews. The moment I spoke with Josh, I knew why the reviews were so awesome. I found my new go-to place. Thank you for your help.

I’ve had some really bad luck lately with nails in my tires! As a courier it’s inevitable. Hands down this shop is the best around! Mark, Josh and Connor are amazing! Everyone that works there has made me feel so taken care of and they not only get you in and out quickly but they care! Every time I go in there I feel like family! They don’t lie, they tell the truth and give the best solutions! Thank you so much for always saving the day and getting my tire needs met quickly and affordably!!! You are the best!

My new go-to spot. Had my tire patched, great customer service, and they made it simple for me to get it fixed.

Needed a brake replacement and was looking at the prospect of driving a week on noisy brakes. They got me in, diagnosed what needed to be done and had the work done in 5 hours. Very much appreciated.

I needed my tire fixed. It had a nail in it. It had a slow leak. They got me in quickly and didn't try to upsell me or anything like that. Highly recommend!

Lied to me on the phone saying I needed all the same tires for my Tesla. I only needed one. Claimed since it’s all wheel drive…I needed all new 4. Jokes on you. You never asked if it’s awd (dual motor) plus it’s ok to change one tire. 🤡🤡

I just got 1 tire I need put on. It took exactly what they said was only 30 minutes. I like the professionalism and the all around nice gentleman that work there. I like their competitive prices and I will be back to get other tires on my car to be put on by them.

Edit (03/2025): Finally got back out there today for the first time in far too long. Same old, same old! No one would have beat their prices, and I know they do a good job, so I don't have to worry. I overheard others dropping off for oil changes; I'll have to start trying to go out there for that, too, since Illinois shops can't even get that right 🤣🤦 TY Mark & team! Love love LOVE these guys! Sad I recently moved to IL and won't be able to use them without a bit of a commute (but will as I'm able!). They were recommended to me by a friend years back; I've since used them at least 5 or 6 times on 3 different vehicles. Other shops should take note: customers return when they feel like they're not being f'ed with! I've bought tires from here, had front brakes done, an alignment, tires patched...in my 17 years of driving, I had never gotten away with "just needing a patch" until I met these guys... Also, one time I came in after losing air in a tire every couple days. They said, "Good news--you don't need a tire; bad news--you need a rim!" They mounted my spare on for me, let me get a rim from a junkyard, then come back AND put the tire back on the rim and mounted it for 10 bucks. Twice by the way, as the junkyard sent me with the wrong size rim! It's especially hard being a woman when it comes to getting car work done--but these guys are always honest and never talked down to me. NEVER change guys! Keep up the great work and stay honest! HR loves you and is lucky to have you!

We have had several issues with tires in the last few months and the staff is always super friendly and helpful in anyway. Their customer service is awesome and that is hard to come by these days. It is also the reason we will continue to go to them for all our car needs.

First time customer here… I knew what tires I wanted and shopped around. Mark’s Tire Bargains beat all local competitors by about $200 (or more). TRUE upfront pricing. Unlike almost every other tire store, Mark doesn’t bloat your invoice with a plethora of fees or pressure you into services you never knew existed. Extremely happy overall. Same tires, better pricing, and even better service. Highly recommend.

They were very fast and easy to deal with when I went to get a front end alignment yesterday. The price was also much better than other competitors. Had a small problem when I went to pick up my truck, they took full accountability and fixed it and I had my truck back before they closed shop the same day. Great customer service.

We've been going to Mark's Tire Bargain for a couple of years for a variety of services: tires, oil changes, brakes, etc. Mark is HONEST, reliable, quick, and efficient. I had a nail in my tire and he patched it without a charge since I purchased from him (this was a couple of months ago). This morning I dropped my vehicle off at 7:15 for an emissions test and an oil change and it was done within an hour. I have nothing but positive things to say about this business and will continue to give them my business for the rest of time.

My whole family goes to Marks Tire Bargains for new tires. They almost always have the tires we need at great prices, and if they don't they'll order it for same-day or next day delivery. They do mounting and balancing as well... They do get pretty busy from time to time so there are times I have to wait for a bit, but it's not a bad wait time.

A few days ago I found a flat tire on my Ford Mustang as it had a nail in it. I asked Mark for advice about fix a flat sealant or taking the tire off. Mark stated not to use the sealant, rather put air into the tire and see how long it holds. If it held well then I could drive it a short distance to the shop. I set an appointment and was able to drive to the shop with no issues. I was in and out in 30 minutes with a $15.00 repair bill. I could have taken it to some of the "name brand" shops; however, I have experienced what I believe was price gouging and have heard the same thing stated to customers. The usual line is something like, "We can't repair the hole in the tire. It's too damaged and since the tire is damaged we can't just replace the one tire with a new tire, so you will need all new tires on your car". Integrity is everything. From what I experienced today, I believe Mark's business is just that. I will take my family vehicles there from now on.

I love this place and will not go anywhere else for my tires! Mark and his staff always do their best! Stopped in because my tire light came on - he said let me check it out really quick. No attitude or telling me to come back later at a more convenient time. I love that!! Check them out - you won't be disappointed. :)

This place is my plug for plugs! 😜 Fast and affordable. Try going to Dobbs for a hole in your tire… they’d tell you, you need a new transmission. Marks Tires honest, affordable and efficient!

10/10, hands down best experience I’ve had. Quick and friendly service. Very informational and professional. As I was waiting for my tires I heard the owner advise a customer to not get something replaced because it wasn’t needed and told the customer it was a simple fix that he did for free. She was expecting to pay for new brakes and left with the problem solved. They will be my new go to shop . 100% recommend

This tire and auto shop is fantastic! Their quality of service is second to none, and coupled with their pricing this shop cannot be beat. They operate on a first come first serve basis so it is as fair as possible. I like to drop off my vehicle at night and get it the next day. I make a point of recommending them to everyone I know. So give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Great experience. Trustworthy employees. I have brought 2 classic vehicles here for inspections and the employees are very helpful for getting everything together. On one I asked for an opinion on the tires since I had just bought the truck and the tires were older. I was concerned about the tread. Mark could have very easily said "I would change those immediately" and made a $1500 sale. Instead he took the time to explain that the tread was fine and the wear was normal for the truck. I know where I'll go when all 4 of my vehicles need tires.

I wouldn't trust my vehicle needs to anyone else! I hate having to get work done on my car because most repairs shops will try and take advantage of a woman's knowledge of cars. Mark, Josh and the whole team are super honest, straight forward guys and they do great work! I recommend them to everyone I know!

I have had 3 sets of tires done here and I am very happy with the service, the friendliness and promptness each time. They completely understand having to nickel and dime it back together sometimes as I'm doing now. Sitting in a smoke free environment is 100% return business worthy as well. The guys work hard, and honest. Keep it up, and the prices low!!!
