NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!
My dad’s car was stolen, and when it was found, we asked this company to tow my dad’s car to the Overland Park. He came, put the car at the the top of truck and didn’t showed up for 3 hours. When we called him, he said roads are busy and he doesn’t know when he can bring the car!!!
He alsosaid that , it’s Friday and he couldn’t bring the car, he need to park my dad’s car on his lot which cost $50 a night!!!!!!!!
Long story short, they stole my dad’s car. Never call this company
Looking at a competitors comments to illegitimate customers I legit like the way they do buisness! Never heard anything bad about impact! Love the response from owner! Pray your drivers are safe and your company flourishes!!!!!

I had a great experience with Impact towing. My wife got T-boned and Impact was quick to get the vehicle and took it to their tow lot. They were professional and supper friendly. The car was totaled and they delt with the insurance and helped me get it taken care of. I would definitely use them for all my towing. Even with a totaled vehicle they were careful and respectful of my property. True industry professionals and good folks. You never want to call a tow truck, but when you do call Impact and you will be thankful you did. Thanks guys!
Driver refused to drop my vehicle not in front of my garage door, citing he couldnt pull into my yard after I told him it was, then dropped it on the curb and still left it in the grass after he told me I could just push it in to my property myself. Also informed me it was cash only after the tow. Driver had an attitude the whole time. Would never go through this tow service again and thanks for letting me fix my vehicle on the street outside my house, I honestly regret calling this place
Impact Towing and Recovery is one of the more legit, and reliable tow services in the Greater Metro. Its not your typical machine ran company. You can find compassion and understanding with this company. Dont get me wrong. Just like any company that puts their money into being a successful operation, they require a return on money coming in the door to stay open for business. The owner Josh, he has children and a family. A big family at that. I've never known this company to not work with a customer somehow, some way. No offense, but if they won't work with you, you must be a real piece of work. My advice to anybody looking for a genuine and legit tow service. Just Impact it! Or get ratchet! A.J.B.
This Independence police used this tow service to tow a reported stolen vehicle Of mine. I was called by the police at 11:30 on a Tuesday night to come pick up my vehicle. Then they called me again at 11:45pm to tell me they had called a tow service. I called this place Wednesday morning and I was told that since it was after midnight when it came in Wednesday counted as day 1. Picked it up on Friday 2 days later and was charged an extra $60 because they said they had it longer than 3 days. Someone needs to teach these people how to count days. Called to complain and I was given the run around... I was told it was picked up 11pm. Funny I have the police voicemail saved that came in at 11:45pm and on the voicemail they say they will be calling a tow. Bad customer service all the way around.
They were fantastic, friendly, and super competent with a difficult situation. It was great to watch the, work with the crane! Super heavy truck was more than up to the task. I will use them anytime I need this kind of service.

Locked my keys in my car at Quik Trip and Impact Tow happened to stop for gas and noticed I was having trouble. Josh immediately asked if I needed help and proceeded to help me get into my car! I couldn’t have been luckier!
Out of all the places I called in Missouri, these two gentleman that help run the after hour phone calls came to help my family and I. I had 3 young kids with me, in a state I’m not familiar with, without an exact location to give them, and these two gentleman not only came, they helped fix my tire & made sure we got on the road again. I cannot explain the level of appreciation. They were very professional, respectful, and above all very polite. They were the only two people that came to help, after I called all around. My kids and I couldn’t be more grateful. 10/10 I’d recommend to ANYONE who needs help.
They have had my truck for 5 months. Difficult to get call backs. I rated them three stars. Now only one star. Follow up review: poor business practice from the very top. The owner purchased a truck thinking that he could sell me the parts off of it. And now holds my truck for ransom. I have to pay for parts i don't even want nor need. Just to get my truck back. All i was wanting, was a bid for the insurance company. Talk about piss poor customer service. Not to mention shady business practices.

My son's Honda was towed off private property by impact towing by orders of Independence pd . I own a mobile mechanic buisness and my son just left work . Needless to say when we go to get his stuff out of the Honda all of his tool were missing and of course no one knows nothing . They are crooks and thief's I would not recommend them to anyone ever.

Illegally witheld my possessions while my car was there after they said there would be no problem on the phone. They wasted an hour and a half of my time just to tell me no at the door.

I've been here 3 times and the most awful experience. The woman who works there is very mean, rude and she likes to argue with you. She'll talk about things that barely matter to get you to forget about why you're really there. Nastiest attitude ive ever encountered with another woman.
I know you think every tow company is the same... but they are not. Impact tow, has came out way of the way and helped me more than once. Always better priced than the other tow trucks I call. And they have even helped me unlock my car when it was at the movies. They have earned my business with the right people and attitude, will call them when I need a lift in the future and I always recommend them when I see someone who needs a tow

Very unprofessional. They charged $200 for a less than 2 mile distance and an additional $60 for less than 9 hours storage fee. The female owner (wife) quoted the amount of $260 over the phone, ten minutes later i called back and the male owner (husband) tried telling me it would be $320. This is a gravel and dirt lot with a make shift fence and gate that is poorly maintained, the lot is left unattended majority of the time. Makes you question how they were able to get their actual business license or the insurance on the establishment. This place is shady at best.
