Jonathon Casper was professional and friendly on an early Monday morning that started with a flat tire on I-435. He got my car loaded and towed to work. For a very small fee he put my spare on so that when I got off of work, I could drive home after a twelve hour day. Pricing was reasonable. Would absolutely call again.
Incredible experience. Customer service was outstanding, and my vehicle was picked up at the exact time anticipated over the phone.
Now let’s talk about the price.
If you don’t use this company to tow your car, you’re getting robbed by the $300-$400 I was quoted by other companies. They have Costco prices, and don’t skimp on their shining customer service.
I’ll never call another company again for a tow, unless I’m way outta town.

Best towing company I've used! Only company working in the storm, got to us quicker than expected, great communication. Michael is awesome, did a great job, and just a very nice guy.
Called these guys after waiting for over am hour on express tow... they were very nice, very helpful and we there on about 30 minutes! Definitely would recommend if you or a loved one gets stranded. Also very cheap compared to company I called before them and much more responsive.
My wife's car wouldn't start at the gas station. Michael responded to my call within 10 minutes. I asked that he tow it to the Ford dealer. He asked if he could try to start it. He started it and said that he was pretty sure all that was needed was a new battery. I took his advice and drove the car to a battery shop where they installed a new battery and solved our problem. I am certain that his help and advice saved me hundreds of dollars in dealer charges. Thank you, Michael.
My car lost its serpentine belt and alternator pulley on my way to work. King’s tow went and grabbed it and brought it to my house. Their customer service was excellent and they worked quickly. Plus the price was good too, paid $85 for a 8 mile tow. Thank you!

Professional service that offers kindness, empathy, and punctuality when it matters most. Our vehicle was destroyed by a negligent driver. Between dealing with fire, the police, and everything else involved with such misfortune, King Towing was patient, thorough, and kind.
They saved us a heap by using their lot located nearby, helped us get our personal belongings, and guided us through what happens next. Everyone from the owner, to the drivers, to the other employees wore reassuring smiles and worked fast. I had no problems with the following release to my insurance's lot either.
Plus, they have sparkling bathrooms. (Who says you can't get a good tow and a good place to wash your hands at the same time?)

Norman did a FANTASTIC job getting my car back to me. Not only did he stop by and pick up my keys, but he called me when he was at the pick up before mine to give me a timeframe of when he should be there and was still here 10 min earlier than expected. He handled my car with great care and made sure that the front and back of my car had plenty of clearance while loading and unloading. My drive way is also a pain to squeeze into and he made it look easy!
Called these guys on a whim and got nothing but excellence service. Quick, easy and cheap if you stay in the city limits of independence. Norman was easy going and smooth

Definitely recommend this company. Firstly, Kings Tow has a great flat rate of 85 bucks up to a certain mileage point, compared to the other tow companies that are charging upwards of 129 bucks; plus, they were there and had me hooked up in a few minutes. The best part was the driver, Michael, was awesome. I am completely awestruck by his skill and his willingness to help us beyond what was necessary. From the first call with Jordan at their dispatch to the end of my experience with this company, these guys are top of the line in terms of customer satisfaction and quality of care. Thank you guys!!

I am very pleased with the service King Towing provided for me this morning. Norman was very profesional, friendly and explained important information I needed to know. They will be my first option for the next time I need a towing service.
Jordan and Michael went beyond being tow truck drivers trying to help get my vehicle working after they recovered it from being stolen. They sent me photos of the car and of the fuse box that the thief had messed with.
I have to tell about the estimated wait times next door at Buddy's the mechanic being over twice what Mike estimated (four days when told two, still waiting). I should have clued in how the towyard mentioned other mechanics rather than recommend Buddy's. They said Buddy's does good work but I don't know yet so if you're willing to wait double the estimated time, maybe Buddy's would be okay. See my review on Buddy's that Mike gets angry quickly.
But back to King Towing. They were willing to push my car next door without charge. Their concern for a crime victim was admirable.
It makes a difference when people are pleasant and helpful, rather than my experience next door.
Driver was not familiar with Kansas city. Would not take me home as they had indicated when I called in. I tried to direct him to a route that would take him very close to my house but he insisted on going the way his navigator system told him to go. I was not real happy about that as I had to pay for an uber. Other than that service was fine and very prompt
Car was stolen from Wyandotte County and found in Independence MO. They picked my car up within 5 minutes of my call and delivered to me within the hour. Michael, the truck driver was wonderful!

The 5-star rating goes strictly to Tristan the driver that came to pick me and my car up. The office staff would get ⭐⭐⭐. While I waited 3 hours for the tow, Tristan was very apologetic and very nice. He drove very carefully and at or below the speed limit and I felt very safe. I was towed from the Northland down to Ryan's Auto Care on Truman road and the bill was only $130. Thanks again Tristan!
The lady I spoke with over the phone was super friendly and patient. I’m not sure exactly who did the tow, but he was also very helpful and quick. Also the price was (in my opinion), super reasonable. I paid about $85 for one of my vehicles to be towed from the highway about 7-8 miles to a tire shop and my car was towed to the location within an hour! Will probably always use this company now. Great service.
My son was in a horrible accident and they were so caring and thoughtful. We had to go get his belongs from the car because it was totaled. Jordan helped us remove things from the car because my son couldn’t get in due to his injuries. He was so kind and very compassionate to our circumstances. Needed my car towed and they showed up reasonably quick and some of the cheapest prices in independence. They also tried to help me get my car started before we hooked it which I really appreciate! 10/10 would recommend
My family and I were on our way home from a long trip when our vehicle broke down. Jeff was very helpful and friendly. He towed us to a shop and we were on our way in less than 10 minutes. We can’t say thank you enough for his kindness!!
Fantastic tow company. I have used them personally several times and never disappointed. Always on time, professional, and not overpriced. The drivers are friendly and helpful, their trucks are well maintained and clean. It's extremely hard to find a tow company that is not rude and overpriced.

King has been my go-to tow service for over a decade after costly damage caused by other local companies. Best prices I've found too! Everyone I've interacted with there from former owner Bobby King, the 4-6 drivers (I'm hard on my rides) I've met, and the office folks have all been exceedingly friendly and helpful. When i or anyone I know needs a tow/roadside assistance/etc, King Towing is the only company that exists to me.
I recently used King Towing after another hauling service who had committed to the job bailed at the last minute. I called King Towing at 4pm on a Friday afternoon in hopes they had availability the following two days (Saturday & Sunday). From the first call they weren’t highly professional and willing to help any way they could. They ran trucks throughout the weekend for me despite the short notice. I could not have completed the job without them and after working with them I would not use any other company. Top notch service from start to finish.
