Absolutely the BEST in the Kansas City area. Was very prompt to get to me and got my car safely home. This company went above and beyond and tried to jump start my car first and checked other things before deciding it had to be towed. Thank you for great customer service. I def recommend.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This is a shady tow company that took advantage of me. They requested $320 IN CASH otherwise I couldn’t have my car back. What kind of business only accepts cash?? Seems like they didn’t want any record of the exchange. They towed me between 10pm-6am. Be careful where u park overnight. The people I spoke to over the phone were extremely rude. I constantly said please, thank you, and sir/ ma’am and yet they could never do the same back. Not to mention the giant trump flag in their office. Not the most welcoming thing to see. But it makes sense that was in their office based on the way they treated me. Maybe they should keep politics out of their business

ZERO STARS!! BE AWARE!!! This place is a scam. They have unmarked tow trucks. The lady hangs up on you and blocks your phone number. Cops had to be called on her. This company has been In the Kansas City Star for their shady business. Give them money or get out is what was said. I'll also be writing to the Better Business Bureau about this shady business.
I wouldn’t go through any other company! They are always kindly mannered, always make it to me at a great time so I’m not sitting and waiting hours, prices are worth it, and the whole staff is so friendly, kind and caring!! I don’t know what I would have done many times if I didn’t have AUTOBOT!

I called for a battery jump on my semi. Amber dispatch service within 20 mins and above all their price is the most affordable. Call them, you will not be disappointed.
I would give this place negative starts if possible my car was towed from my Apts with no notification and then I'm told I can't get my property out of it unless I sign the title over or pay $400

I had a very pleasant towing experience with them! Their tow truck driver Maria was personable and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or dumb for not knowing how to change a tire! She was promptly there and got me off the side of the hwy very quickly will definitely call them again and highly recommended!
I was involved in an accident on i-70 West. Charles and his team were promptly on site and made sure that all of my property was well taken care of. They even went the extra mile to make sure that my Harley received no additional damage after the accident. Not only that but they helped me loaded into the trailer so I could take it to the dealership for an estimate. I can't express how impressed I was with Charles and his team. If you're in the Kansas City area and need assistance this is definitely the tow service to contact these folks are great!
Wouldn’t recommend I went from a disconnected lower ball joint to an upper control arm and axel completely torn out of its boot due to there tow driver and have been waiting a week now with no manger reaching employees have been nothing but rude id recommend go ANYWHERE ELSE
They work a parking at City Market for which I legally paid to park. Then towed my car because I had type a single digit on my license plate wrong. My phone number, make, model and color of my vehicle was there, but they felt the error was easy money. Towed my car, had to pay over $350 to retrieve. If there ever was customer abuse and predatory practices, this is it.
Just google them, . They took my car from the scene of an accident in Fairway Kansas. I have not been able to find a license for them to operate on the Kansas side of the state line.
They did not give me any information at the time about storage fees, which renders any storage fees are legal in the state of Kansas if you are not aware. No, such acknowledgment was made.
After 30 days, it’s legal to repossess a car on your lot if you’re a tow company and it hasn’t been paid for. This company spent 30 days hanging up on me, threatening me, lying to me, lying to a police lieutenant and refusing to let me resolve a complex situation so I could get a salvage title on my car and get it back. They refused to allow a vehicle inspector on their lot, even after being instructed to so by the police lieutenant of the precinct who had them impound my car to begin with.
Long story short, I was able to rescue my car within two days of it being up for legal Possession, at which point they could’ve sold it back to me for God knows how much money. They literally tried to steal my car from the scene of an accident less than 90 days after I bought it.
Researching associated phone numbers and addresses links them directly to an absolutely malicious, long-term exploitative tow company in the Kansas City area that runs out of the Missouri side in North Moore. The name of this company is Northstar and you do not want to be involved with it or any of it subsidy areas. I wish I had had the presence of mine to research and not just trust the recommendation I was given at the scene of the accident.
These people have no morals, and almost stole a $18,000 car less than three months in my possession Through intimidation and obfuscation it is unreal to me that tow companies can still operate so unregulated because this is what you get.
Have not used this service and would be scared to based on the way a driver was so careless on the highway during rush hour. Bobbing and weaving through traffic, cut me off and then slowed down. He was more likely to cause an accident vs help someone after an accident.
My daughters car was towed by them . Then she ended up in a hospital for weeks. Even though I had power of attorney over the car, they would not let me pick it up. All her belongings are in there . I have the title, and POA and everything they would need to identify that car. They will not let me get it. I've called 3-4 times, they always say the owner will call to discuss it, but he never does. Me and my hub have both called. I asked if my daughter could call to verify they said no. So I'm sure my bill is close to $1000. Because she is unable to be released and we are stuck because we should have been able to pick it up in 2 days and now it's been weeks..
I got stuck in the snow the other day, went through my insurance and got someone from this company. After waiting for 2 hours he gets there. Tells me my insurance won't cover the wench, and offered to do it anyway for $200. I didn't pay him, so he left me stranded in the snow. I then got a message from my insurance saying the guy couldn't find me.
Do not use this tow service if given as an option. They tow your car from a crash scene, give you a card with an address on it, you go to that address and they tell you your car is in a different lot. The tow driver doesn’t say anything about this other lot or what you need to do to get to your car. They tell you someone will call you from that lot, only to follow up days later and then be told someone will only call you from that tow lot when you have an insurance claim number. Pretty shady all around, but what would you expect from a company with a massive Trump flag behind the counter. Horrible service, terrible attitude all around. Unhelpful, unclear, and unapologetic. Would never choose as an option. Confirms all towing companies’ bad reputation they are stereotyped with.
AVOID AUTOBOT AT ALL COSTS!
I had a recent experience with Autobot and I feel obligated to warn others. I caught one of their tow trucks in the act of trying to tow my car, even though I am a resident and pay to park in my dedicated spot. When I confronted the tow driver, he casually claimed that my car was "on the list." After he called his supervisor, they admitted it was a mistake—wrong lot! What a joke.
Had I not caught them, I would've been out hundreds of dollars in cash just to get my car back. It’s alarming that this "mistake" was about to cost me so much money. I contacted my management company, but I haven't heard back yet, which adds to my frustration.
This feels like a complete scam, plain and simple. If you live in the River Market area, keep a close eye on your car. Autobot is either incredibly incompetent or running a shady operation. Either way, you’re better off avoiding them altogether.
My vehicle was towed from a private parking lot during the 5 PM hour. The girl I spoke with on the phone before 6:00 was helpful and gave me all the necessary information. The girl I spoke to after 6:00 was aggressive and confrontational. I was stunned at the difference in customer service. The woman who came to release my vehicle to me was intimidating and difficult. She gave the impression I was going to have a difficult time retrieving my vehicle due to a lack of ownership documentation, which had not been mentioned to me at all in my two previous conversations. I realize that in the towing business there are angry and aggressive "customers" so staff are predisposed to handle things in a curt and abrupt manner, but I didn't approach the situation that way. Being treated in such a manner by the after-hours personnel escalated a situation that wouldn't have ever been contentious without their hostility. I pray to God that if you ever are unfortunate enough to have your vehicle towed unexpectedly, you are able to retrieve it during Autobot's regular "business hours".
I slid on ice on a hill and almost hit a parked car. I was able to stop my car before hitting the other one but just by an inch. I couldn’t move the car anywhere without hitting the other one and they came and rescued me. They are so amazing and I will definitely cal them for help in the future!
They sent a certified letter saying that have vehicle. Go to clear it out because they lied on the letter and refused access to the vehicle. They essentially stole our vehicle.

He gave me good advice as to what to do about the car in the repair and I had to call back the next day because I did not know what decisions to make. He gave me some insight how to handle the insurance, the car damage the value of my car. Of course he was telling me this was all just estimated knowledge. But I sensed with his experience and care he was trying to give me the best advice to help
