Sold me an "A part" with no compression. Also cut the wiring harness during removal, another grand in installation. Did not respond to calls from the mechanic.

Sell junk!! Don't answer any questions over phone tell us the head is good I get there the car says clearly bad motor right on the side.... So basically the head probably bent the valves into the pistons. And they say we not going give your money back!!! I would never trust anything from this company ever go some place reliable and honest..
Won’t hold the return policy. They’ll exchange, but not return. Don’t make the mistake I did and make sure what you get is 100% correct if you buy anything from these slums. I knew I got off cheap.
They had what I needed, when I needed it. I just assumed there would be a big wait time for the part I called in and requested, especially since they have to go remove the whole front left clip of the car. And that they wouldnt have it until later that evening or possibly tomorrow. BUT they called back in less than 2 hours since when I first dialed them. Very unexpected in a good way! Im very happy

Called and they said they had a fender. Surface rust on it they said. Price was right and I drove all the way down there. They pulled the car so I could check it out. Seen the rust and pushed on it with my finger and it went all the way through. Junk. Walked out. Don't know if I will give them another try or not. All these junk yards are the same. Tell you what you want to hear so you go there. Can't stand wasting my time.

Definitely another place on my list to go when needing for parts. Definitely attentive and providing good service and taking a part off of a car that was needed for mine service was economical and friendly and the part was not expensive. Definitely look forward 2 using their facilities again
I bought a radio part in '08 but returned it because it wasn't quite the right fit. They gave me a receipt for credit. Seven years later they honored the credit on another item. That's pretty great service and the guys are friendly and willing to work with you!
Absolutely a great place to do business with . They are no pick n pull so you have to understand that they are a small business with alot of overhead and they have to pay their employees to carefully and conveniently pull the parts for you and they don't charge you an admission fee or disposal tax and all kinds of price gouging ridiculous fee's . They are very understanding and will work with you like in my case which is why I am very happy with the way they treated me . I would buy from them again in a heart beat , this is the type of businesses we should help to stay in business instead of the big money grabbing out of state owned companies
This place was great. When your from out of town out of state you look forward to getting screwed over when you need parts. But this guy was actually priced great, funny even got a laugh outta me 18 hours from home and a broken car. Thank you guys there. Will be back anytime I'm in Peculiar again and need anything for my car.
Well my day started by calling them on the phone asking about the part that i need for a Ford Pickup truck.and thet put me hold looked it and told me the cost of it and that i could pick it up that day. Well that afternoon i went down and payed for it they pulled it and gave me than what i need. Yes very helpful and friendly.
I'm sure they're good people.. But they are way overpriced.... The top then off they told me $50 on the phone when I got there they marked it up 15 more dollars.. I highly recommend going somewhere else..
Jason is a down to earth type of man ...he will work with you and give a fair price .They also will pull the parts so you dont even need to bring your tools ....will shop here again.
Initially I was a little frustrated because of the time it took to get the part. Then I realized it was lunch and the woman that helped me was alone waiting for others to return with lunch.
The part was in excellent condition.
The price was 1/3 the cost of other quotes I received.
Installed the part and car runs great.

So exspensive compared to other places. More than 3x the amount than other places. U-pick-it, all-in-one, Muncie auto salvage. All 75 to 85 dollars for used transmission with core trade in. Economy is 350 for the same thing and that's with trade in. Take the time and get part yourself and save dang near 300 dollars.
These folks are great to work with and deal with. Today was my first time there and it won't be my last. I got a hood for my car to replace the badly damaged one that was on it. The guys swapped the hoods in 10 minutes, we're very kind and helpful. Love this salvage yard. The female in the office was very nice too and quite cute. Thank you again economy salvage.
The guys and gals at Economy are the best in the west by test. They are very professional, very friendly, knowledgeable, service oriented, and on top of their game. I highly recommend them for your used auto parts.
Bought a transmission for my family's new van, drove about 120miles and transmission started slipping. It had been 35 days since purchased , called economy auto salvage. They said there was nothing they could do. Came with a 30 day warranty, pretty much offered to sell me another one. Poor customer service would not recommend to anyone I know! Spread the word! All I can do is prevent someone else for getting screwed over.
Purchased a truck from Economy Auto Salvage via Craigslist on 6.28.14 and could not be happier with the service, honesty and price delivered by the entire team. The truck had a few minor issues and all of them were fixed before I purchased it and drove it away. I would highly recommend doing business with them.
I called to ask about a spare tire for my car. They don't keep an inventory so they said they would check for me and call me back. They called and told me that they had it! and it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely shop here again! Very friendly and very helpful:)
