I had been looking for a replacement bumper for my 1995 Ford Taurus where I live in California without success. When I was on vacation in Kansas City I called C&H and they had one. They found the car with bumper, showed it to me and removed it from the car. It looked like a good replacement so I bought it. They built a small crate to hold it and padded it for shipping to California. It arrived at my local body shop in good condition. The body shop cleaned it up, reinforced the inside of the bumper and painted it to match my car. Installation was done and now my car looks great. Donnie and Barbara were good to work with and very helpful. Thanks for all your help.
This place is a lifesaver. If you have a late model, don't bother coming to this yard. If you have a classic, they are guaranteed to have the parts you need even if everyone else in town doesn't. I have a 1983 Caprice Classic station wagon. I called about a window glass, and Barb was insistent they had several available. Not only that, I got a rag joint and a mirror. I searched far and wide and found nothing. This yard is the only place anywhere that had what I needed.
Can't get a call back on another part. It's not easy to find. It's under the over pass. So gps acts wonky. Alternator runs great so far. I just wish I could get the core fee for it
I want to give a big shout out to this company for finding a wheel for my 1998 GMC Safari van. I needed it in a hurry as I wanted to attend a funeral for my cousin in Columbia, MO and only had two days to find one. The woman at the front desk could not have been more helpful. She found one and I was on my way to pick it up within a couple of hours. It was still attached to a tire and I thought I could get it into my van with no help. I was wrong. The woman at the desk (I'm sorry I don't know her name) came out and we were able to load the tire/wheel into my van. This is customer service at it's best. Thank you C & H Auto Parts Truck and Salvage for helping me.
Called in an order, verified the time they close, and got there an hour before and they had already closed up. An hour and a half of driving for nothing. Thanks.
Dont know what to say, they dont mention it, but cash only. Place is literally and figuratively a double wide cut in half trailer that likely should be condemned.
C&H is the go to place in KC. Don is a walking vehicle encyclopedia, a gentleman, and honest. These guys have all kinds of rare and hard to find parts. If they don't have something, they will go to lengths to source it, or let you know where to go. Absolutely top notch, old-school AMERICAN owned parts place!
