Had the unfortunate circumstance of my car breaking down nowhere near my home. This shop came highly recommended by the locals and their google reviews helped our decision to move forward with this shop for the necessary repairs.
Candidly, I understand the challenges small businesses face - having operated small businesses for 20 years....several of those years operating a small repair shop myself.
The price was okay. The service, however, was underwhelming and communication severely lacked. The repair was simple. Expectation was set the car would be returned in 2 business days. They had my car for over a week. It was not a part availability issue either as I ultimately was forced to supply my own parts. No one picks up the phone and voicemails were unreturned.
2 stars due to very poor customer service.
These guys are the BEST!!! Friendly, responsive and professional, and damn amazing auto mechanics. And they do State Inspections. If you live in Pleasant Hill and the surrounding area, this is the place!!
Truly the best mechanics around. They always have time for you and they get you in and out. Incredibly kind and professional. Experts in their field. I recommend them to everyone I can and this is the only business I've ever bothered to leave a review for.
Place stays pretty busy, but Steve and Anthony do great work and don't try to over charge. It's best to stop by rather than call, because of how busy they are. Also recommend trying to make an appointment.
Cannot say enough great things about this shop. Steve and Anthony are great and will shoot you straight. There have been a number of occasions I have taken it in to check on brakes or whatever and have been told everything was fine with no charge. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going here for about a year and will never go anywhere else!! The service they provide is not only quick and affordable but they know what they’re doing and aren’t going to scam you! 100% recommend
I don't think I've ever left a one star. They might be good mechanics but their customer service is terrible. They don't answer the phone, they don't call you back. You drive down there and the owner says come back and see if they have an opening. You drive down there and he might be there or might not. He might of left at two . He might have a car in that opening next Monday that he's holding Bay open for , they might have parts for said car, they might not. In the mean time I've been there at least four times and car has never been there that I'm supposedly behind. Not sure why they can't order my part fix my car and send me home before next Monday gets here but oh well. This is the craziest ran shop I've ever been to. So if you don't mind never having an appointment or never knowing when it is you're going to get in this might be o.k. for you. Personally I don't want to drive down there fifteen times to see if maybe it's my turn, because I leave there never knowing more then I did before I got there

We love this place! We've known the owners for years and have always came to them for car troubles. They are always busy because they are the best. Friendly and great at what they do. Sometimes it takes them awhile to get it done, but its to be expected as much as they do around there. Very popular and I recommend them!!

I took my car in to get the oil changed, the tires rotated, and the AC charged. When I came to pick it up, they said that my compressor was going out, so it wasn’t strong enough to get the cold air through. They marked out all the cost associated with charging the AC because charging it wouldn’t fix the problem. They always do a great job with mine and my husband’s cars.
I wouldn't waste your time like they did mine. Had my truck for a month and only removed a gas tank. Never contacted me about anything. Only positive note is there was no hassle coming to remove it and take it elsewhere.
These guys are great. They really get custo.er service here. TLC doesn't do that thing where they push service on you for the extra cash. They suggest options outside of more parts and labor. And they do an excellent job of being as transparent and honest as they can when it comes to potential issues or repairs. You could find somewhere a little cheaper-though not much-but the quality od service and honesty you get here is worth an extra dollar or two. I highly recommend this place for your service needs.
Highly recommend these guys! I chose them off of comparing internet reviews for my area and was not disappointed! When our van broke down they got us in super fast even though they were already super busy. I was charged a reasonable price for a new alternator and was on the road the next day. They suprised me by wiping down the super dirty dashboard and even vacuumed the seats. Super impressed! Highly recommend!
These guys are the best. Fair, and honest. They have always gotten my cars fixed and ready at a fair price. I highly recommend tlc to every one. They never have tried to get me to over fix my cars. Many mechanics will try to talk you into unnecessary things
