Friendly team and demonstrated good communication early in the process, but the experience has been far slower and more complicated than it should have been as things have continued. Early on I flagged errors in the paperwork and was told everything was fine, only to have the same documents come back a week later needing to be corrected and re-signed, which delayed everything. Three weeks later we’re still waiting on the deal to finalize and digging through other issues that could potentially have been avoided. At this point, I offered to pay for the vehicle and avoid financing altogether and have not heard back in two days, while they continue to hold my down payment. Everyone has been courteous, but there hasn’t been much urgency to resolve issues and keep things moving along, without additional follow up on my end. Can we get this deal done or please return my down payment as soon as possible?

The process of buying a car was great until they added a bunch of extra fees onto my loan without telling me. When I went to cancel the service agreement, I’ve been waiting months for a check to be issued to my financing company. I can’t get a hold of a finance manager. Been trying for months to figure out what is taking so long. I had excellent credit and they got me an outrageous interest rate saying that was what it was and I should refinance in a couple months. I can’t refinance if they don’t issue the check for The service agreement I did not agree to. The sales lady, I had also said she would throw in WeatherTech mats. She ended up quitting before the mats came in and the dealership told me that I would have to pay for them since the sales lady didn’t have them put in the contract.

Test drove one car and told the salesperson I was not interested in it. In a total of seven days, I’ve been contacted five times by this company asking if I was still interested when I told them from the get go that I was not. The salesperson was nice but the amount of times they contacted me is extremely excessive. They literally just called me twice in less than 24 hours.

Had to have transmission replaced. Was told 1-2 weeks. I got my vehicle back 6 weeks later. When I would check in on my car, and ask for completion date I was always told something more important showed up, and they bumped my car back. Then at pick up after 6 weeks, the alignment was way off. Dealership was notified the evening of pick up. They were supposed to come get my car first thing the next morning. No one showed or called. Finally received a call at end of business day saying it would now be the next day. Not sure there is any communication in this dealerships service department.

Highly recommend Andrew and this dealership. Second purchase here and hands down the best deals around on GMC trucks. Other quotes I received were not even in the same ballpark.

Frank Leta dealership delivers an experience that is shockingly misaligned with the image it tries to project. What should have been a premium, professional transaction instead became an exhausting exercise in poor communication, unmet expectations, and complete lack of accountability. From start to finish, basic standards were ignored. Information was inconsistent, timelines shifted without explanation, and follow-ups only happened when pushed—repeatedly. The burden of organization, clarity, and progress fell entirely on me, which is unacceptable at any dealership, let alone one positioning itself as “high-end.” Most concerning was the response when issues were raised. Rather than transparency or ownership, concerns were deflected or minimized. At no point did it feel like customer satisfaction was a priority—only closing the deal and moving on. Luxury is not just about inventory; it’s about service, integrity, and respect for the customer’s time. Unfortunately, Frank Lita dealership failed on all three. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to think carefully before engaging and to document everything in writing. Reputation alone does not guarantee professionalism—and this dealership is proof of that.

I found a used truck on Autotrader and double checked on the Frank Leta website. Regarding communication before the visit, It was nice to see the teamwork from the Frank Leta team on the web chats, texts, additional photos, and personal video showing a quick walk around of the vehicle before my visit. The visit went well as they prepped the vehicle for my appointment. The sales person and manager were professional and respectful of my time.

According to the reviews I’ve read I’m not the only one who had an issue with their service department. Might be something this location should look into. I scheduled and oil change and a few other services that my truck was due for. Before my appointment I experienced another issues with some messages on my dash which included “brake fluid low service” and when I checked it looked like it was at mid level. According to Tara in the service department she said that was ok. So brought my truck in for the services which included an oil change with 100 point inspection. Once my truck was done I was told by Tobias that the service tech said once the spark plugs were changed those messages will go away-trusting what they told me when I drove my truck the next day the messages were still there-you can understand my frustration after spending $1800 and this not being corrected. Oh and when I left that Friday evening my oil level was not reset (see photo) nor did I receive a sticker on my windshield! Either laziness or neglect. Whatever the case unacceptable. Makes one wonder if the service was actually performed. I also was charged for a full diagnostic which I have never paid for in the past when I had an issue because normally the techs knew exactly what it was and when I sat with Kevin the general manager and explained my situation and what had happened he did not offer to refund that charge. I didn’t feel he was that concerned about what I had experienced. I went to a mechanic and let him know the messages I was receiving -he said you need brake fluid. He added it -cost me $5 and the message was gone. Again very disappointed with the service I received. And why was this fluid not checked as a part of the oil change and 100 point inspection? My battery was not checked as well. And just today as I went to add washer fluid I found a spark plug box under my hood. (Photo attached) I have been to several dealers in many states to service my truck and NEVER have I experienced such incompetency. If you’re reading this people of Jackson or Cape Girardeau do yourself a favor and find a good mechanic. Please do not respond to this review with your general message of giving you a call. It got me nowhere.

If you ever have to deal with Michael Vass, proceed like every line of that paperwork is a trap. In my experience, he buried optional add-ons—like extended warranties—into my financing so quietly you’d never know they were there. When it came time to sign, he kept parts of the paperwork conveniently tucked out of sight, and the extra fees only revealed themselves after I was out the door. The whole thing felt engineered to keep me in the dark. And when I canceled the warranty, the sudden barrage of calls from financing telemarketers made the situation feel even more shady and retaliatory. It was one of the most exhausting, trust-breaking encounters I’ve had with a salesperson. In response to Frank Leta’s reply, I DID email Michael Vass directly—multiple times—and called the dealership with zero response. Because of that, I had no choice but to file a BBB complaint to get my warranty canceled. The GM, Kevin Pettit, claimed he was unaware of my attempts to contact them. The dealership refunded the warranty to the lender in a way that didn’t even reduce my monthly payment. I posted a Google review because that’s what actually affects your bottom line. The manager should be reaching out to ME, not shifting the responsibility back onto me. I shared my experience because people deserve to be warned so they don’t end up dealing with what I did.

I brought my truck in for an oil change and the technician noted a leak coming from my undercarriage. I made a follow on appointment to bring it back, so that the transmission could be pulled, the seal checked, etc., and the date of the appointment, the technician called out sick. I was told that I would receive a call back to reschedule and then waited over two weeks for a call and never received one. Then I finally called back in myself to set an appointment to bring the truck in and have it assessed. After this appointment I was told that in fact there was no leak coming from my truck and that "everything should be fine", I refused to accept this response and then was told that a technician put dye in my truck and I was told to bring it back after I drove it for at least 500 miles. Once I returned the truck for that check, I pulled the truck into the service bay and went to the waiting area. Approximately five minutes later the representative came to advise me that everything looks fine. When I went back to get into my truck to leave, I noticed that the truck wasn't even moved, so was the truck even checked? They seem to be extremely disorganized or over worked, I can't tell which. I am about to roll over 36k miles and I'm afraid that I'm only being strung along until my warranty expires and then I will be responsible for the costs of the transmission repair!! I know I didn't buy the truck from this dealership, however they don't seem to care about customer service or doing right by loyal customers that always buy GMC.

I “Asked for Andrew,” and he did not disappoint! I had a special circumstance with my old vehicle and Andrew was not only able to help me with that, but also find the perfect vehicle with my ideal down payment and monthly payment. Andrew was very knowledgeable about every vehicle we looked at, as well as very forward and honest about every question or concern I had. The WORST experience. Bought a 2021 Kia telluride. About a week into having it started shifting really hard & not driving right. Drove 2 hours back to this dealership because we have a 3000 mile full coverage warranty from buying it. They barely looked at it and told us to take it to Kia since we still had it under factory warranty. So 4 hour round trip, wasted! We took it to Kia dealership & what we need isn’t covered under warranty so I’ve called SO many times & tried getting ahold of every one I can think of there at frank leta where we purchased. Tracy Barnet who was supposed to be helping me, I’ve left over 4 voice mails this past week ontop of calling many many times & haven’t received anything back. They were negligent in knowing that second time owners do not have the same powertrain coverage as original owners and as a big dealership they should know their warranty practices before selling a vehicle, this is negligence and unprofessional and crooked practices. They sold us this vehicle 2 months ago, with only 79,000 miles on it. stated there was a 360 point inspection on it, so how would they not know it needed over $1000 put into it to be running correctly? VERY slimy business & wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking to buy!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at Frank Leta. After visiting the dealership for two days to find a suitable vehicle, I finally identified the one I wanted and informed the sales team that my husband would like to review it. They graciously allowed me to take the car overnight with the understanding that I would return in the morning to finalize the purchase. However, without any notification to me, they sold the vehicle to another party while it was still in my possession. No call to communicate there was someone looking, no if you love it put a deposit down, nothing. I will not be conducting any further business with this dealership. I was on the way with the car to their location to complete the purchase when I received the call informing me of the sale.

Worst experience I’ve ever had! I flew in from another state specifically for a car I had been searching for a long time. They told me the vehicle had no damage or scratches. But when I arrived, they suddenly admitted they hadn’t seen the car and that it was actually damaged. They offered a $1,000 discount — but then tried to cover that up by charging me a 13% EPR (interest rate), basically taking the $1,000 right back through financing. Completely dishonest and a waste of my time and money.

My husband and I had an amazing experience buying our vehicle! Cassie, our saleswoman was great to work with and was able to answer or get the answer to our questions. Michael, the finance guy was awesome in walking us through the final touches to the sale, and Tracy in the service department was incredible to work with, she had a very bubbly personality which I appreciated a lot and she made sure to get us with the best on her team to make sure our vehicle was taken care of. Customer service has been top notch! I was initially hesitant to buy a Buick but have been more than pleased with the luxurious experience the Buick has given. Very modern upscale design! I love what Buick has done with their redesign!
