Hands down the best Salvage Yard in mid-Mo! They are super friendly, have any part you need and at the best price, or they will find it for you. I was diagnosing and replacing the oil pan on my only vehicle, and the guy actually offered to bring it out to me, since I already had it tore apart. Now that's A+++ service!! Thank you very much! I've been a repeat customer ever since that, from tires, wheels, etc. They are a fair, honest and friendly family business that I'll support 1000%! Thanks for everything, and I'm sure I'll see you again, fingers crossed not anytime too soon though haha. Keep up the great work!
And to the negative reviewer above, you paid $15 for a used tire that lasted 4+ months?! I'd say you got your money's worth. I don't know anywhere else you could buy a tire that cheap! K&M is awesome!
I cannot even begin, With the horrible experience with this place. Begining December wife had a flat, went and bought a tire from this place. 2 weeks later it wouldn't hold air. We live a ways away from the place my wife is dealing with serious family matter, I noticed the tire had dry rot cracks,here now in March after another flat..I needed a couple tires and found k and m unknowingly this was where that tire came from. We needed 2 more tires and brought this tire to there attention. At first a deal was made 15 for the other tire and 15 mount, which I wasn't happy with beings we paid 50 bucks for a dry rotted tire. Either way they took it off checked it and found a pin hole attempting to blame us. Then later found balance beads inside and again argued that this tire was not there's because they don't have beads, However it was a battle with accusations against us. Then there was a bad tire on front drivers side so we moved the back to front on that side and replaced the back which was in that front because it split. That tire now on front was bad and radial was separating..Keep in mind we just moved it. The size tires we needed they didn't have and wanted to sell smaller tires but we didn't want smaller on just one side instead both on front, They charged extra to move 1 wheel even though the original tire was really there tire to start with. And the other 2 were smaller. Ugly picture. Then they said they would fix that pin hole and resell that dry rotted tire, hmm. After driving the highway we noticed it pulling and shaking, Remember the story above where we just moved back tire to front, well we called them and they against blamed the van and is...It's the alignment ..When in fact this van has a book of records from when we bought it from a church...It's been well maintained..Never had alignment issues always straight with even old tires. It was a major battle of blaming us for there tire errors. Did they have a good price "Sure" but The rude finger pointing when it was obviously dry rotted..and even the lady looked and saw that. Not once did they take any blame or care. Instead charged us extra and blamed us it wasn't there tires at all!!!.. When in fact it absolutely was! They don't have a shop just jacks in the dirt. I made a suggestion about our hubcaps bolts are plastic and the guy immediately says to me " I'm 55 I'm sure I know what I'm doing" umm excuse me but this is our vehicle not yours..In the end they should have replaced that tire even though it's been a couple months the dry rot was clearly obvious the tire was junk when sold, They shouldn't have charged to move wheels beings they didn't have the correct size.
And the pull and or vibration should have never been blamed on our vehicle ..very long long story many words that were rude. I would stay clear of this place for tired and be careful and document everything, Because they are quick to say they didn't do anything wrong at all!! We will never go back here. Sum things up. The beads they supposedly found was prob not there but added, If they were there then that was when they sold it. They found other smaller beads in another tire and tried to claim the 2 were related. The tire was there's and they sold it to us in December. My wife and I are disabled and this is crooked to do what they did or tried doing to 2 people that have many doctors appointments throughout 3 city's on top of wife's mom is going in to hospice. Stay away..Unless they plan to actually correct this mess the right way I'll never go back
Got a small car interior part I needed quickly and with no fuss. It was little bit more expensive than if I'd gone online, but worth a couple extra dollars to support local business.

Friendly folks, went out of their way to make sure and find exactly what I needed. The owners are very friendly and made my first visit there a wonderful experience. Will for sure be doing more business with them.
They truly cared about helping me and made sure I understood what my car needed. In addition to their help, they referred me to a mechanic that was able to fix my car with very little notice. This place is definitely worth a call if you need anything, and they do take credit card payments.
Malachi and his family are great hard working people. I've known them for years and they do great business if anyone EVER put I bad review on here I'll say this It a lie and that person confused K&M with a different salvage yard

Owner (Malachi Owens) gives out your phone number to employees/friends so they can scam you. They call you right back saying they can pick up the parts for you since they are going there also so it will save a trip and any inconvenience. You pay for the part and the employee disappears. What a scam! Would not recommend. Not trustworthy! Would give them a negative star if they had it listed. He gave the number it to J Tyler Waters. Not trustworthy people. You and some of your employees are a bunch of lying thieves and will say whatever to make yourselves look good
Went in today to locate and hopefully replace a bent rim for my suv.
I quoted a few places before who wanted to basically rob me of my wallet(Dobbs) and then finally found K&M.
When I got there I was met with a typical salvage yard feel and environment.
The owners and employees were some of the finest individuals that's I've had the pleasure of doing business with.
Not only are they extremely friendly and
Accommodating, but they are very professional with very very reasonable prices.
After going through a few rim styles they were finally able to match the correct look and fit to my vehicle.
Nearly identical really and saved me several hundred.
While this went on my daughter was provided with a few toys to play with and a couple cats to say hi to.
All in all, if you are looking for good prices and good parts to pull from salvage.. they're are the place.

It took a while to get a tire on my bent rim but they still got it taken care of and they still helped me out the gentleman helping me was kind and straight forward and the lady and their daughter was kind and they make u feel like family i know I'm definitely coming back for more parts here
The guy who answered the phone was impolite and not helpful at all. He seemed irate when I asked for any of the parts that I was lookin and went on to say that l’m better off buying brand new parts for my 2002 camry. I’ve had a very good experience with this business in the past therefore it is very unfortunate that this is the kind of reception and dealings I have had with whoever answered the phone today. The owner of this business was a great guy that I’ve had the pleasure to meet during my visit in the past . I hope that this is just a hiccup rather than the norm. Needless to stay I’ve found what I was looking for at another salvage yard !

Great Service! The woman here had went out of her way to call around looking for a better match to our wheel that fit our style. They were concerned about our needs and fulfilled them in a timely manner! We ended up purchasing a used wheel for a great price. Overall we were highly satisfied with their service!

I was traveling across country in a new van I flew to purchase. I really needed to remove some seats so I had a place to sleep. It was not near as easy of a task as it should have been. These guys and gal were super accommodating in helping me get this project done while I was on the road. I’m really appreciative of the help they provided.

Great customer service as far as being really nice and polite but when given the correct make, model and year info they give me the wrong part so now the part does not fit and they are not opened until Monday and you can't even leave a voice message bc its full

This place is amazing.. I called before arriving, he gave me a great price. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they opened my doors for me and closed it, he made so many exceptions for me.( i wasn't very knowledgable about cars, im a college student and was so confused). He explained things to me, made sure he gave me the best service possible and I am so grateful. They have always been very helpful at K & M. Bought many parts from them and they have decent prices. It is a coincidence but some of the body parts were even the right color. Once I was there and my truck didn't start. They diagnosed the problem and helped me get it started no charge!
Being my first time every going to a salvage yard, i don't have much to compare to. I was a little nervous at first but they we all so kind. The guy removed all the parts from the car we picked and the ladies in the office were so very sweet. I would highly recommend them.
