Service here was so awesome! I wanted a tire and seatbelt replacement, but they sent me away because they had provided me w cheaper options. Would definitely recommend!

Took my pickup there for the first time and Brad was great getting it fixed, but the second time we called about more work and told Josh what I wanted done he said I'll call you back with the estimate, two days went by and no call back so called again and was told again by Josh he would call back with the price, well a week has gone by and he never has call us back with the price so took it to another mechanic and got it fixed so I won't be having them do anymore work for me and sure won't recommend them to anyone. The person that recommended Brad to me couldn't believe Brad would have done us that way had he knew. Maybe Josh doesn't like someone telling him what you want done
I had issues with my car making a strange "Bird like Chirping sound", not only did the guys at Simpson's get me in the same day, they were all very helpful explaining what was wrong. I am a woman and may not know a lot about cars BUT they did NOT make me feel dumb. They also did not make me feel like they were taking advantage of me by selling me extra items or saying that there were more issues wrong with the vehicle than there actually was, like some Mechanic Shops have in the past. Although I did not choose to get the issue fixed through them because my brother is a Mechanic, the price to fix it was very reasonable. I will defiantly be taking our Vehicles to Simpsons for future needs!
WOW!!! 1st time customer today so impressive. I have an 2004 Volvo SUV that the headlights went out on unexpectedly. I brought the vehicle to another shop in town who kept it for a few days and were unable to do anything to fix it. I called and Josh scheduled me an appointment. I dropped it off the day before in the late afternoon and the next morning at 8AM I got a call saying it was all set. Come to find out it was a fuse that had blown! They are super honest and friendly. Mike the technician was super informative and really enjoys working on Volvo's. Its great to have employees who love what they do. Thank you all so much for this amazing experience!
I had been having trouble with what I thought was an electrical issue with my 2019 Nissan Rogue. Every time I made a left turn the interior lights would flash, and the back seat door locks would click on and off, on and off. In addition, the dash panel indicated that my driver side door was open. When it wasn’t! I took it to the dealer. He suggested it was the wiring on the left side door panel. There were dents on the lower side of the left door panel, which the dealer was pretty sure was a result of my seat belt hitting the metal part of the door when I shut my door and that it had somehow crunched up the wiring in that panel. But they couldn’t fix it. I needed to go to a body shop. I took it to a body shop. They were able to take out the dents caused by the seatbelt banging against the lower door. Still had a problem. Finally I took it to Simpsons Automotive. Mike was fabulous. He listened very carefully to me and admitted he had never seen anything like this before but he’d . Check it out. He was very professional and polite. In less than an hour, he had figured out what it was and corrected it and charged less than half of what the body shop charged me to remove those dents. He made my day! I told him I would tell as many people as possible about the great job Simpsons Import Auto did to repair my car. And that’s what I’m doing!
All the mechanics are extremely knowledgeable. The workers of the highest quality that I can find anywhere in this area for sure. They always call and explain everything. They’re always friendly and prompt when you go into the office always a hello and if they’re busy, I’ll be right with you. It’s refreshing to get that kind of customer service.

Always helpful, knowledgeable and explain things plainly. They’re very honest about an issue and if it needs to be fixed at that time or not. I have never felt like they try to find more problems to be fixed when it’s not necessary just to make more money.
These guys are legit. Had multiple underlying problems with my 2000 mustang gt. Brought in my mustang for the clutch to be replaced. They called back super quick and offered me a few options on what kind of repair I would like and broke down the prices. I also had brought in some aftermarket control arms I needed to be installed, and they got them on no problem! The day I picked it up it felt like a brand new car. A month or so later I had a coolant leak. Brought it back and replaced the radiator and intake manifold. They also replaced my spark plugs as they were bad, for no extra labor charge! They got my car running back to its full potential, and assured me the car was good to go. They were right! It’s been running strong(knock on wood) for the past few months. You may have to wait a couple days to get in, but trust me, THESE are the guys you want working on your car. Don’t settle for less!!

Hands down the BEST Auto Repair Shop in Central Missouri. My wife and I have been using them for the last 2 years, and they are unbelievably honest and straightforward. We have used them for brake services, safety inspections, oil changes, and more complicated repairs IE engine/transmission issues. They have NEVER tried to oversell me on a repair that my car didn't need. Not only are they honest, but their prices are INSANE - I am fairly knowledgeable about cars, and if the repair is mostly labor, I will usually tackle it myself. Every time they quote me something it's more affordable for me to use them - Not only that, but if I am thinking about doing it myself, they'll give me advice on the best way to do it.. Adam Smith (the founder of modern economics) claims that "Humans desire not only to be loved, but to be lovely". Simpson Imports behaves lovely, every day, to every single customer. I can't tell you how inspiring that is
P.S. - It's expensive, but try the salsa! It is REALLY good!

From tires to batteries to new front hub and state safety inspections etc. All repaired without fuss and in timely manner. Highly recommended.
Brad and his crew have always been extremely professional and taken good care of my family and our vehicles. I recently had a problem with my power steering, and Brad was quickly able to diagnose that I needed a new power steering pump. They were able to make the repairs within a few hours, even with having to order the part from elsewhere in Columbia. They are always very transparent about what is wrong and the cheapest way to fix it! Came in with since spray paint on my car and they took it off for free and told me exactly how to do it so I could handle it myself next time. Very kind! I'll never go to another repair place in como.

I took my vehicle to another Automotive Group for an oil change. That place was unable to meet my request. Not only were they unable to do the oil change, I left with my car having issues that made it unsafe to drive.

I explained what happened at the other place. He kindly made room in their busy schedule to Even though they were busy, he kindly made room in their schedule to service my vehicle!
He patiently answered my questions and patiently explained what issues needed to be addressed and repaired on my vehicle.
They graciously waived the cost for labor and only billed me for parts! The cost for parts was extremely reasonable!

I highly recommend Simpson Import Center, the staff are always friendly and easy to talk to. I have taken multiple vehicles to them over the years and they have always been taken care in a timely manner. They are excellent at working on newer imports as well as older vehicles.
I am always blown away by the outstanding service I receive at Simpson Imports. They have worked on every single car I have owned and I have only good things to say about the men who work there and the work that they do. I am consistently met with kindness, promptness, and honesty. Brad (and all the other guys) ALWAYS goes above and beyond. On countless occasions he has saved me money in the long run. They know my dad, a long time customer, by name and almost every time I’m in the shop, ask how he’s doing. It’s just a little thing, but goes a long way in my book.

Thinking I was needing back brake pads on my van, and couldn't believe how awesome it was, to take a car to a shop, and have them tell me my brake pads are fine and didn't need replaced. They did great work on my car. Very reasonably priced. And they fixed it in less than a day. I sent my daughter and her boyfriend there too. They were amazed at how reasonable it was so now they bring their truck to them and they live in Centralia. They're courteous reliable, and they don't charge an arm and a leg.
Brad and his crew are the best! I can always count on them to give me an honest assessment of what's going on with my car. He won't ever try to nickel and dime you, but he does do what's needed to keep your car safe. I recommended that my wife and her parents all take their cars there for service. That says it all!
These guys are great. Reasonable pricing and amazing customer service. They have identified and fixed issues with my old Volvo. The only downside is how busy they are and you may have to wait to get your car in, BUT, once they have it, they see to it right away.

Definitely not the best garage in the state and the only people I trust to give me honest, pragmatic advice on repair plans. I definitely don't come here all the way from KC and plan my oil changes and other services around my National Guard drill schedule. Definitely not. So all you people need to stop coming here and filling their schedule!
Brad and his team are great to work with! Trustworthy in assessment on vehicle and they were able to fix an issue that Volvo in St. Louis wasn't able to fix after 2 service appointments. Always great to get vehicle in for fast oil changes. Friendly staff.
