Faced quite the hurdle on our cross country trip and Chris from economy towing went above and beyond to ensure that we got our vehicle riding safely to our next destination. We were about 1200 miles from home, traveling in just our RV. No car in tow. Ran in to a tire going flat and needed help. Chris showed up unaware that it was an RV. He could have turned his back and said he couldn’t help. There were several hiccups during the attempt to repair the issue. However, he went the extra mile to run to a few different spots to find what he needed to help ensure we could keep the tires spinning on the pavement. Thank you Chris. Eternally grateful.
Chris is amazing!! He came and changed my tire when it blew on my 7 hour trip. He was so nice, professional, and he cared about my safety. He made sure to recommend to check my luggage nuts after about 50 miles and advise the tire He changed was shot and needed replaced!! 1000000000% recommend them!!!!!
Justin and Chris came out to help. They were here way faster than expected. I struggled with trying to put the spare on and ended up snapping 2 lug nuts. Chris and Justin had that thing done in 5 minutes max. I hugely appreciate their help and how much they helped me to be at ease about the whole situation. They're under new ownership as of February so ignore anything before then. When I called, the person on the phone was professional and patient. Chris, the guy driving the tow truck, was absolutely great! Funny and lighthearted, he made having to get towed actually a pleasant part of my day. He was also obviously knowledgeable and confident about his job. Even though my bike has a few scuffs, he was very careful with it. I'd definitely recommend Chris to a friend!

As an out-of-state resident, I was unsure about the main problem to the car, had changed both batteries and the car was still now starting. I had a fantastic experience with Economy Towing! I work as a travel nurse in Jefferson City, and one morning, I noticed I had a flat tire as I arrived at work. My car rental company arranged for Economy Towing to assist, even though they had to come all the way from Columbia, MO.
Since I work 12-hour shifts and couldn’t leave the hospital to wait with my car, I was worried about scheduling, but Economy Towing went above and beyond. They worked with me to arrange a time after my shift ended, which I thought was excellent customer service in itself—but they didn’t stop there.
My car was parked in a tucked-away lot that’s hard to find, and to make things more challenging, I’m not the best at giving directions in a town I’m unfamiliar with. Despite this, Chris, the tow truck driver, was incredibly patient and kind, going out of his way to circle the hospital lot until he found me and my car. His helpfulness and genuine care made a stressful situation so much easier.
I’m sincerely grateful for Chris’ kindness, patience, and assistance that evening. I highly recommend Economy Towing to anyone in need of exceptional service!
My wife and I were traveling from Kansas City to St. Louis when we had a blowout. Economy Towing was recommended to us (by Plaza Tire in Columbia, MO). We’d already called another tow place previously, and were quoted an exorbitant amount.
John, the driver from Economy Towing, called us immediately to give us his ETA, then called again when he was close.
John was very polite and professional and took great care loading our car (a low-slung BMM Z4) onto the trailer.
When we went to pay for the trip, the amount was less than 1/4 of what the first tow company we called quoted us again.
While I hated to break down on our drive, John and Economy Towing made it almost worth it!

Incredible service! I just want to say thank you so much Craig for helping me out! My car was stuck in a very challenging spot, it was originally stuck in a valley an then proceeded to get stuck on another steep hill to where they where able to get me out and help me. I’m thankful that me and my car is safe thank you so much!!

Economy Towing has earned itself a dedicated customer in me. Last night/Jan 8, they towed my 1997 Mercury Cougar back to my apartment after it got stuck on ice and died near Rock Quarry Rd, and they gave me a wonderful discount. Tonight/Jan 9, they just towed my 2003 Ford F150 back to my apartment and gave me another discount just for the fact that I used them last night. Chris, the driver tonight, and his manager Patrick were so wonderful, and seem to be amazing people. I was truly lucky to have them as the company that towed me. Highly recommend!
About 4 to five months ago. Call the this economy towing and. Get home from Columbia to Kirksville Missouri I pulled the frontj drive shaft so they can pull it backwards. Well got home to my truck. I’ve been. Getting the runaround, the owner said that they got a tow truck driver had to pay for it and still not yet to contact me. I call every now and then to see nothing. Fancy Nancy told me yours drivers died called nothing to try to work out something so I guess I’m just gonna file a claim against him
UNETHICAL! Economy towing is unethical. My daughter goes to college, was gone over the weekend, and her car was towed due to an event that she was not aware of. They had her car for two days and told her that it was going to cost her $525 but if she got to the location before 4:20 pm, they would only charge her $420. Their towing fee is $265 and a $30 fee for each day. She was able to get the cost down to $350, but it should have been $325. That's ridiculous that they are trying to scam young college students. While she had no choice since her car was towed by the City, I would NOT recommend using an unethical company like this. I will be calling the City about this as well. They only take cash too...how interesting.

My driver, Chris, was soooooo amazing! He drove all the way from Como to KC and towed my car back to Como. While we were in the tow truck, he was very friendly and our conversation took my mind off of the pickle I got myself into. He was very accommodating and kind. He also was a safe and efficient driver.
Economy Towing customers service was amazing. The lady on the phone asked all the right questions to help me. Asking for the mile marker was a life saver. The driver arrived in 40 minutes which was quick. I was quoted by some other service and it was going to be close to 2hours.
Now if you have to ride with the driver don’t look for comfort but it gets the job done. The pricing was reasonable I felt but I’m not sure what it cost. after paying tow service for over 30 years and only used it once so, I cancelled it. when I needed it I didn’t have it. I hope this review help someone.

Chris came to tow me into St. Louis after a rental car went dead on me. He called to make sure I knew when he would arrive, told me of things to be aware of, and encouraged safe practices. You can tell he cared for the customer experience. Highly recommend using this company if you’re in or close to the Columbia, MO area. Ask for Chris if he’s available!

Worst service ever. Guy came out and played nothing but the blame game.. like I didn't know what I was doing. Because of how I had to pull off to the side of road. Had multiple problems trying to hook up his dolly then was so aggravated with himself or the dollys he backed his dolly right into my rim ruined the seal on the rim and of course here he goes with the blame game and taking it out on me. now I have a appointment with my insurance tomorrow for my rim. And of course I had to wait for another tow truck cause I definitely didn't need or want anything else to have to pay for.
Great service. Worked with our schedule and place of tow destination perfectly. Tow truck driver was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Patrick the manager was extremely helpful in arranging and offering services that we will definitely use and recommend for the future of our fleet. Economy Towing has been around for a long time but under new management, they seem eager to grow and expand. I am happy to endorse their company.

Even so, I had a great experience. Driver Chris responded quickly to the call placed by my insurance company's dispatch. He came straight from another call in Auxvasse and towed my car to a service center a block away from my hotel instead of the destination I chose, because mine was farther, and then dropped me off at my hotel. I got here about 5 minutes ago.
Thoughtful, prompt, pleasant, and courteous. Not much else you can ask for.
I hadn't planned on using Economy originally, but the company I usually call, their phone number wasn't working-but that worked out for me! Chris was able to jump my car for me AND he followed me to Auto Zone just incase my battery gave out again. I didn't even ask he just offered. He was so nice and made sure I didn't have any questions. I will definitely recommend and will use them again.
They helped me tonight when I got my car stuck. They were fast to arrive. I did not catch the man's name that helped me but he was super nice and careful with the car. He also did not charge me an arm and a leg. The lady at dispatch was super sweet as well. Will use them again over any other tow service if I am ever in need again! Highly recommend!
