Absolute Scam Artists - Avoid "Bigg Boy Status Towing" at All Costs
This company is a complete and utter joke, and using them was one of the biggest mistakes I have made. If you are looking for professional service, transparent pricing, or even a basic level of human decency, you will find none of it here.
Here’s a breakdown of my abysmal experience:
Bait-and-Switch Pricing: I was initially given a quote for the tow. A reasonable (or so I thought) price for the job. Once the job was done, the price skyrocketed with no warning, justification, or explanation. It's a classic bait-and-switch operation, designed to exploit people in already stressful situations. My final bill was thousands of dollars over the quoted price, a predatory practice that seems to be a hallmark of this business.
Arrogant & Unprofessional Communication: The staff and owner (whom I assume hides behind his employees) were some of the most arrogant and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. There was no "customer service" to speak of; only rude, hateful, and aggressive language.
Zero Willingness to Work Together: When I questioned the astronomical charges and the sudden price hike, I was met with complete unwillingness to discuss or negotiate. It was clear they just wanted my money and had no interest in resolving my concerns. They treated me with contempt, like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer.
All About the Money, Nothing Else: Every interaction made it transparently obvious that the only thing "Bigg Boy Status Towing" cares about is maximizing their profit, even if it means resorting to questionable tactics and causing additional stress. They represent the absolute worst stereotype of the predatory towing industry.
In summary, this company is a disgrace. They exemplify greed and poor business practices, and I am actively exploring legal options and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois Attorney General's office given the documented history of similar complaints about overcharging and demanding cash on the spot.
I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Avoid "Bigg Boy Status Towing" at all costs. You'll save yourself a massive headache and a significant amount of money.

If you are reading this, know that your business practices are disgraceful. The way you treat people is appalling, and your lack of integrity is shocking. You should be ashamed of yourself for preying on people during vulnerable times. A legitimate business builds a reputation on trust and service, something you clearly know nothing about.
Predatory Tow company, they will tow your truck and hold it hostage while they try to give a crazy bill. Do not use this company unless you want to lose your equipment
I had a flat in my neighborhood and had to run around the corner to my house to get my husband to fix it and when I got back my car had been towed by these crooks and I had to pay 540$ to get it back and they wouldn't let us fix the flat on their property,found they had broke off 3 lug nut posts so I'm sure that's why we had to drive off their property!! CROOKS IS WHAT THEY ARE!!!!

I was recently broke down in my 18wheeler with a oversized load an called them up an in no time Tyler was pulling up an got the whole rig over to there place safely and was treated as if I was family the whole time I was there... really nice an helpful group of guys
Charged my company nearly $900 for a jump start on an RV in downtown New Orleans after making me wait nearly 3 hours for them to show up. Their website says they serve New Orleans but they're in an entirely different state and charged me for the mileage to come to New Orleans from Mississippi.
They didn't tell me how much the service was until after they already did it which is completely unethical.
Don't believe these hustlers.
My driver misjudged a turn and got his 53' Dry Van stuck in a ditch. I called BiggBoy and they was at my drivers location within 30 minutes to get him pulled out. Not only were they quick on getting out there, but they were fair on the price and very respectful and nice to work with.
If I ever get a driver in the area who needs pulled out or towed again, BiggBoy will be my first call! Thank you BiggBoy. You guys were good to work with!
Was stuck in a ditch with a Suburban while searching for dogs who made their escape. Came home and Googled BigBoy Status Towing and so glad I did. Answered right away and Jason made it out within 20 minutes! They were friendly and fast! Thanks so very much!!!
We had USAA Roadside servce and they left us stranded for 6 HOURS. Finally I called BigBoys and they rescued us at 2 o"clock in the morning. They helped us get to a hotel and took our car to their shop. WE WERE AT THEIR MERCY and they could have screwed us. Instead they quickly repaired our car at a very fair and reasonable price. Everyone Jason, JR and his office staff were courteous and friendly. We were lucky that we called them. I RECOMMEND THEM AS HIGHLY AS I CAN. These folks are good people you can trust.
From NJ my wife wanted To taste the local crawfish. The thing is I drive a 18 wheeler. I got stuck in the mud. They came out in a reasonable time got me right out. And was alot of help making sure I was safe They also had a cool truck.definetly worth the price of service.?
