There isn't a diesel shop around the coast I'd take my F250 to other than Obriens. These guys know what they're doing. It's hands down the best shop on the Miss Gulf Coast. Having work done to a diesel is going to hit your wallet no matter where you go. What you get from Obriens for your $$$$ is professionalism, 100% the best customer service on the coast, and above all your problems fixed. They aren't shooting shots in the dark and looking for blood at this shop. They pin point the problem, talk to you about your option, and if you turn em loose they fix the issue. My truck has not run better since they had it. I haven't had any issues and its been several months. The customer service is the best around. They were patient with me on the payment and held my truck safe at their shop while I was on the road working. I call them from time to time with questions and they always give me great advice. Free of charge and they're busy. This morning I stopped by with an issue I created myself and they took a quick look and had me right back on the road. I didn't pay a dime. These guys are the best. They know what they're doing and they're good people.

O'briens has given me great service both times I have used them. Quick to checkout my truck and give me a estimate. Then the repair was within the estimate given and finished on time. Very good customer service.

Once again I brought my truck in for a fuel system upgrade and transmission tuning, and I couldn’t be happier. Words can’t describe how satisfied I am with the results. Hands down the best diesel shop I’ve ever been to. Thanks again, Al!

These guys have got it going on! If you need diesel work done I highly recommend O’Briens. I brought my 2003 Ford ambulance to them. They listened to me, answered (many) questions, checked it out thoroughly, and made recommendations. The turbo pedestal was leaking oil amongst a few other things. I was previously told by another automotive shop I would need a new engine. Well, that was BS! O’Briens fixed her up and she now purrs like a kitten, and without putting in a new engine. They have earned all my future business.

Had what I thought was a simple issue. It was not simple and required a new engine. They worked very well with my insurance company. They also kept me informed of everything that was going on.

Some of the best & most trust worthy people i have ever dealt with! Working in the industry its hard to find people who stand behind there work like these folks do…

Brought my 2015 6.6l Duramax here for a bad exhaust leak I had. They were able to get the parts in and get the truck back to me in a very timely manner and did not try to tack on extra charges. Great guys over here that are very knowledgeable!

like to give a shout out to Brian and the crew I have a 2009 F250 super duty. It’s got a 6.4 in it. It’s a long story but to keep it brief they went above and beyond for me two separate occasions I’ve never been happier with a shop and I got 60 years on this planet so good on you guys and thank you for your attention to detail and going above and beyond for me, I won’t take her anywhere else Capt. Without a doubt best shop around. They always get me in and out quick with my 01 7.3 and they’ve got it running better than ever. They’re honest and affordable. They’ve even helped with my gasser Yukon. There’s not a lot of honest reliable mechanics so this shop is rare. Deff would recommend to anyone and they’ll continue to have my business. They talk you through process and offer different solution to fit you. They aren’t just trying sell you the most expensive unnecessary option

Hey. ,I wanted to tell people I was pleased with the work and the afterwords follow up they provided me .I had them drop a crate engine in my 2000 F-550 then do a follow up on a complete wiring harness which was brought to my attention by them .Today I have a really nice running older truck that will be with me till I’m done on earth .They seem to be busy you might have to wait your turn as most good businesses are usually busy but when they get to it the entire team seems to work on it .Thanks Guys

Hands down the best diesel shop in the Southeast! I was having an issue with my ‘22 Duramax, and after the consultation, I knew right away I was in good hands. The team was knowledgeable, professional, and straightforward. Dropped the truck off on a Wednesday and had it back by Friday—running better than ever. Highly recommend these guys if you want it done right the first time.

O'briens did a great job on a transmission cooler on my 2018 super duty. No more 240 plus degree temperatures. Has yet to get over 209°. O'briens has been working on my diesel trucks for the last 10 years and has never let me down.

First and foremost I hate bad mouthing a company but this is a gift that keeps giving. I dropped a problematic 6.0 truck off to them this was a few years ago. They took almost 6 months to replace the injectors paid 4500$ got the truck back ran the same if not worse when I got it back brought it back took another couple months to do the diagnostic and they tell me I need to rebuild the motor and put a head on it. Would cost another 9k so I bit the bullet and did it. Took another 6 months to get that done. Then my guy is driving back to Florida and truck breaks down 2 hours away and a clip was broken that had something to do with the injectors. Got it fixed drove maybe 500 miles and what I didn’t know at the time when obriens had put the cab back on they didn’t put the cab bushings in that then rubbed some wires and vent tube to the transmission and it went out. Get the transmission rebuilt and then find these problems fix it drive 300 miles and have terrible oil leaks to find out half of the valve cover bolts are stripped out. 13k plus 3k on a transmission and now all the extra work I have to do I wouldn’t bring my bicycle to them.

Driving through and my 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.7 had a rough idle and loss of power. Brian and the guys were great finding the problem and getting a swift solution to get me back on the road. Nothing but great hospitality and quick repairs with them knowing I was out of town. Sure wish we had a shop like this where we live! I recommend O’Briens Diesel & Performance to any and all needing diesel repair, you won’t be disappointed.

I needed a driver side head replaced on the ole girl. After finally talking myself into bringing it to a shop. I towed her on in and they got to it. I got a call soon after with her being done and she runs better that ever. Even smoked a new Dodge ram Cummins truck. They took good care of my old work truck and I thank them fully for it. MASSIVE Thanks to O'Briens Diesel & Performance Staff for getting my truck back on the road. With me being a single father in the military they were very understanding and able to work my pay schedule to get me the services my truck needed. The display of communication from front desk staff as the medium between the mechanics and myself was VERY reassuring throughout the process. I when I got there the door was locked and they were at lunch. The owner was in his truck and actually got out and introduced himself as the owner. He was a very cordial and friendly guy. I dropped off my 2006 F350. They had it only A couple of days. The gentleman at the counter explained everything when I took it in and then when I picked it up. He handled every question professionally, and the truck has never run better. It actually runs better now than when I bought it. I am very happy with the work they have done. They will have all my work in the future. My old Mechanic will be missing the money from now on. I can’t think them all enough. If they had six or seven stars that’s what I would give them.

If you are needing a great diesel mechanic that you can trust to do the job right the first time, only be charged for the work that they really do, and do it in a very timely fashion this is the place. The staff is straight forward and honest. The price for service is fair. What a breath of fresh air to find a shop like this to work on my truck. I felt pretty confident bringing my truck here with all the high reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I brought my truck in for a simple oil and fuel filter change and everything seemed ok. The next morning I check my oil and find that it was way overfilled! They did correct it and apologized for the error, but if I hadn’t checked my oil their error could have been a costly one.

These guys are the best. Thought my rear main seal was leaking so called them to see if they could handle it. They went above and beyond. Turns out my oil pan was cracked in 2 different places, which they were able to weld until i can find a good used pan ($1700 new!!). Any other shop would have just changed the seal and shoved me out the door. Huge thanks to Chris and the guys.

HIGHLY RECOMMANDED ++ if there were 6 stars I would say 6 Chris and his team were great I have a European camper and they agreed to take care of a park brake failure Not having the part (an air circuit valve) they managed to adapt another part so that we could ride again without having to wait too long. The whole team was very friendly and very efficient quickly The prices are correct I highly recommend this serious and responsive company, they know everything about mechanics Thank you guys ?

Whether you have a stock truck, fleet truck or full out street/race truck... O'Briens Diesel & Performance will have your back. Not many shops will have the service personnel or even the company owner be willing to come help you look at your vehicle in the lot to help you diagnose an issue. I take my 1000 hp street truck to these guys and I also have brought my stock truck to them for service needs! You don't get people that wanna take your money and send you packing like some shops! With these guys you get real people that care, everyone at this place will get their hands dirty for you! If your stuck on the road they will take care of you even! It's hard to find people to trust your toys too!!! I don't even second guess leaving my 1000 hp truck with these guys!! Don't take shops like this for granted! Support your local guys that fought tooth and nail to be where they are also!! O'Briens will always have my business!
