Great store!! Lots of really nice items! Great selection of furniture, appliances, doors, tools, etc...! Really nice, friendly staff! Just moved here and already been twice! 2nd trip totaled out around $22 with lots of "last chance" items from .50-$1.00. Senior citizen age is 55 and gets you 10% off on Mondays!!
Restore should be changed to rip off. They seem to Google the price of every item and charge the maximum price they can find. Somethings are underpriced, but since they paid nothing for them why try to get first line price that you would get from a store who actually had to pay for them. You have to be real careful not to get ripped off by restore
Nothing really of use was there. It was hot inside the building. No staff was around. The bathroom was nasty. And it didn't have toilet paper in either stall.
I love going here. Sometime you can fine just what you are looking for, sometimes you find something unexpected, and sometimes it just fun to go look. Recently I found a 100 gallon fish tank without pump or equipment for $25.00. I have gotten floor lamps for $5.00 each, a Nintendo for $15.00 and end tables for $10.00 each.
The cashier was visibly annoyed that I was a first-timer at the Gulf Coast location and I qualify that as poor customer service. Linda argued me down about veterans discounts instead of explaining how their system works. I’ve been to other ReStore locations throughout the country. Places like Little Rock and Topeka are much better because pricing is realistic for the conditions of the items unlike this price-gouging retail Hellscape. The only reason why I was generous enough to provide two stars is because I did find ONE thing fairly-marked.
Great proces for useful household items. Wonderful staff willing to help their customers find what they need. Thanks to great employees like Gabriel and Doug for all your help In Remodeling and the business is an asset to Gulfport.
My husband and I have donated several times and have had them pickup furniture from us. They are very professional when scheduling the pickups and the guys that pickup are very nice and careful with the items.
I love this restore, I was able to find several pieces to complete my vision of what I would like my house look like. I bought a few couches, one I put a cover on and the other one had a removable cover that I was able to take to the laundromat and clean.
It was really nice to not have to pay full price but still be able to do something really wonderful that looks great. Everything in my room was thrifted except the carpet.
I was so happy that they were able to hold a piece for me for a few days until I could get a rental truck to bring it back to my home. I'm so happy to support this great cause and kudos to the people who helped load the couches into my box truck.
This place is a 'must visit' for many reasons. They support a great cause. They have hardware and building supplies at very reasonable prices. There are pieces of furniture of varied styles. You can't beat the paint prices. The area near check checkout is along the lines of a good flea market. My favorite reason is the pictures with the beautiful frames that have been taking up space in my storage locker, that I will never hang, were gladly accepted as a donation. Please drop something off while you pick something up.
I live out of state but have shopped two Habitat Restores in my city that are setup like warehouses. This store is more like a retail store - clean, displayed nicely, and the staff is friendly.
I saw several things I wanted but knew I couldn't take home on the plane. Guess I need to drive next time.
Not what it use to be. Been shopping there for years and the staff were like family and greeted us by name. HOWEVER, over the past couple of years the store inventory, prices and staff are hit and miss. Evident by the consistently empty parking lot. Great cause but there are better Restores in the area that you can shop at and donate to the organization.

First of all, these people never answer the phone. It took 3 days of calling just for them to schedule a window between which they can come do a pickup. Not even a set time. The window is 4 hours and they said they’ll call on the day of, with a time. The day comes and they call, saying they’re 20 minutes away so I have to rush and leave work, to meet them at the house. I pull up to the house and the truck is sitting there, I open the garage, get out of the car and open the front door. As soon as that happens they pull off like they didn’t see me. I immediately call them again, they didn’t answer. Called again, a lady answers and I explained my situation. She had no sympathy and says something along the lines of “sorry but they’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and it’s thanksgiving” (it’s TUESDAY, thanksgiving is THURSDAY) and asked if I wanted to reschedule. It wasn’t even 3pm yet and they closed at 5pm. I continued to tell her they pulled off as I was opening the door to let them in, and somehow the call disconnected. I wasted my gas and fell behind on work because these people didn’t feel like “working” and gave the excuse of them not wanting to wait anymore, even though they saw me.
They had a boat load of spray paint @$2.50 each. Several isles of painting supplies all reasonable in price. Friendly and helpful staff. The merchandise there is not consistent, so if you want it...you need to grab it! Odds and ends, this and that's. All the used items seemed overpriced, things you would find at a goodwill for $1 they had priced at $5. Had a lot of hardware for doors, cabinets, plumbing stuff, a little lighting, rugs used office chairs etc.
It was my first experience to go to restore and I was impressed. There were so many of the handles that I was looking for for my dresser. They were very courteous and one person in particular his name is Doug was very helpful by trying to help me find the exact handle that I need it. He had wonderful suggestions if I don't find the handle in particular. He was extremely helpful
Found some really really good deals here. And even better than that they are great about refunding if an item is defective. Most thrift stores I know have an "all sales final" policy. These guys give you 30 days.
My husband bought a paint gun from here that looked like it had only been used once. They sold it to us at %70 percent off market price. My husband got it home cleaned it up, had to mess with it to get the settings right and got to use it once before the motor died.
He had it about a week. We didnt think they would take it back but my husband thought he would give it a shot. Not only did they take it back they were super kind and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Really a great place and a hidden gem. If you haven't been to this place, you should go! Very nice furniture, tools and all sorts of other merchandise which was donated by individuals and hotels. There are some great pieces here for a fantastic price. My only criticism is that they would do well to have a bigger sign. I've driven down 49 for quite some time and never knew they were there until someone told me to look.
Visiting from Atlanta and decided to drop in to see what this store had to offer. I was very impressed with the layout, pricing, staffing, and quality of the products. Can't say enough about how well the staff took care of me and my mini me's. I will definitely be visiting this location on my visits to the gulf coast.
I have found it to be very accessible with lots of parking. On entry you are greeted. The store is very big and open. Exceptionally clean. Lots of new appliances as well as donated. Caters to all kinds of household needs inside and out. Decorators, home repair, painting, plumbing, carpenters, furniture, and all kinds of interesting items. Public is welcome. You should try it.
The materials and decor available were a very good selection and the pricing made it quite affordable and a great opportunity to implement some used building materials in my own remodel project. The staffing seemed limited but were very nice and knew their inventory well. I would recommend the ReStore highly and it's a great charity that really helps people in our local communities.
