Service here is great and the employees are the most helpful respectful very nice people. Would rather go here than PGM any day my husband worked at a scrap yard for years and they respected his knowledge instead of trying to challenge it like PGM trying to screw us and give us something else that pays pennies then what you really have when you tell them you know what you have PGM will tell you well I'll buy it for diecast or whatever is paying Wayyy cheaper like they tried to do is with our brass a few times and other metals!! Federal Autocat will get my business from here own out the only thing PGM pays good for is catalytic converters but everything else they will screw you on.
This recycling center was very clean I was very impressed. They have a waiting area. They offer competitive pricing for scrap metal. And they gave me a check on site. I did not have to have it mailed.

Every catalytic converter I've sold to these people over the last several years was the same kinds. One day I decided to go to PGM OF Texas and I was shocked and upset at the same time. PGM paid almost double what Cat Con did. They're ripping people off... Go to PGM
Website says they close at 4:30 its not even 4 and doors have BEEN locked and when i called and asked what time they close the woman got an attitude saying 4 so i asked why everything is shut and locked before 4 she called me stupid and said i cant tell time that she has a baby to pick up...

Employee tried to sketchily buy converters off me in the parking lot “so I wouldn’t have to wait for check”. I said no and they paid me over double (by check after 3 days) what the sketch employee offered in cash. Took my converter serial numbers to pgm next door and discovered they would’ve paid almost twice what cat-con paid already. Wish I’d gone to pgm. Should have done my research.
Great place, good prices and the workers are awesome! Except for the old white guy, hes more on the extreme picky side. If sees something wrong with what your selling, example aluminum sheet, all of its clean except one piece with a tiny screw in it, he will mark it all dirrty and wont tell you that hes buying it as dirty.
The staff is unfriendly and down right lazy. It does not matter what time you get there they will say sorry closed. Obviously they do not like making money.
Don't waste your time going here. All the signs and google say they close at 4 pm.. showed up at 330 went to try to open office door a worker came out and started screaming and cussing me out for trying to open the door. Apparently he was on the other side just holding it shut saying can't you read the sign?! The sign says 4.. needless to say don't go here. Employees are extremely rude and unprofessional just trying to start stuff with people
