Weird experience just now. Walked in and one associate was helping a customer and another associate was behind counter but on cell phone typing away. After about 20 seconds she asked if she could help so I told her my chicle make model etc and then needed to repair a transmission cooling line.
I asked to let me show her a pic of the part I took and she went back tot he phone typing.
After a good 45 seconds of watching her continue in her phone typing I was going to ask to see a manager but looked on her shirt and she is a manager.
So I walked out and went elsewhere to purchase the parts needed to solve the issue.
I’ve never seen this poor customer serve. My advice is to put the phone away when helping your customers.
Mr.Lester provided great customer service today! Even though the store sounded busy he provided all of the information I needed for the product I was looking for and had a great attitude while doing so. I was not having a good day so having a positive interaction in the midst of my troubled day definitely helped me feel better about my car issues.
Colby waited on me at the store .He was so professional. He Really was all about the customer with him he did a really good job replace my windshield wipers blades. And told him I had a miss.he did one of those things and give me the paper work telling me what I needed done.thanks Colby we need more employees working at places dealing with people like you.5 stars
Great place to get parts if Autozone doesn't have them. This is my second d preferred method of parts. Only becouse I have a commercial account at AutoZone
I highly recommend this place! The staff is very professional and knowledgeable! They have a lot of products at O’Reilly’s auto parts stores that other auto parts stores Gulf Coast do not carry.
They did not have the part that we needed but they did everything they could to try and locate it for us. The staff was very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help us.
O’Reilly’s customer for years, however I don’t appreciate the lack of communication from the employees. No one including the cashier ever said a word to me, not even a thank you. The young man was almost oblivious to my being there. I can spend my money very easily elsewhere. If you don’t appreciate your customers you’re successful in spite of yourself. Go elsewhere.
Jeremy the assistant manager or manager at that location was the BEST,he went above and beyond for us,tried offering a tip and he refused to take,whatever this gentlemen is being paid isn't near enough,was blown away by his kindness and dedication to his job!!!
Assistant Manager Austin took great care of us, changing out our battery and even resetting the truck computer to the new one. Instead of saying “we can’t do that,” he actually pushed to find a way and did it! Had a great attitude and great manners!
Every time I go to O’Reilly Waveland, these guys will spend enough time with you to figure out what you need. They don’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need they look for what you need to get the job done. Awesome staff
Do not go here. I rented this tool and they would not take it for their lives. They made many excuses on “trying to return it” but it was made up to get money. Now I have two things I do not need. I went to Autozone & rented a serptine tool box & they took it back. Even gave me a serptine belt for free even when it was damaged. Autozone >>> O’Reilly’s (at least the Waveland location O’Reilly’s) Boo.
I come here to get my alternator and battery checked and the guys were very helpful and didn't hesitate a bit to come out and do the job.. Thank y'all do much
Definitely five stars for me, (ginny) in commercial is the best and extremely knowledgeable, fantastic service she will go out of her way to make sure u have what u need
I just went to the one in Waveland. I did not feel welcome there. When I asked for a lid for my air valve for my tires they looked at me like I was stupid. The girl whispered something to the guy when I walked in. The vibe was off and the guy behind the counter acted like I couldn't afford $40 windshield wipers. 0 stars. Do not recommend. I will stick with Long Beach.
I went there to find a part for a 22 year old RV. They didn't have one but after looking for a long time they found a part that would work. They went above and beyond. I would go back if I'm in the area again. Thank you all for your help.
Decent store usually Has the stuff I need. Employees are pretty helpful too but no experts by far, make sure u know what u need and double check before u leave.
Im new in town so I went to autozone first bc I always see it. Near my work. The lady their didn't know what she was doing so I went to oreilys. Got the windshield wipers I wanted and they installed them. Nice going to a place where people know their stuff especially when you don't. Thanks guys
The dealership wanted to charge me over $84 to change the air filters on my vehicle. I paid $22 here & the nice gentleman showed me how to change the engine filter so i can do it myself next time. They always have the best prices & customer service. We love O'reilly.
This companies requires a mask, you will not be able to shop even in an emergency. No mask was offered. I suspect the company is happy with the direction this country is headed.
Unfortunately I had to change my 5 star rating and if I could I would give NO stars...I had been a loyal customer of O'Reilly's for at least 15 years. I would pass up other automotive stores just to go to an O'Reilly's, but that is now a thing of the past. A friend of mine who was just as loyal as I was bought a radiator from Waveland, Ms O'Reilly's only to find out it wasn't the radiator that he needed. When he went to return the radiator he was told by Richie (the Manager) that they would not take the radiator back. When asked why Richie then tells my friend that the radiator he was bring back was NOT a radiator from O'Reilly's and that it looked like the original radiator that came in the car. 🤔 Brand new radiator vs radiator out of a 2000 just by looks it was obviously a brand new radiator. But even after constant proof that the radiator was in fact just purchased from that SAME O'Reilly's only a few days prior Richie said he would NOT take the radiator back and neither would any other O'Reilly's. My friend left not only upset but very confused. He went right over to the Long Beach O'Reilly's and with absolutely NO issue whatsoever got a complete refund. I normally do not base my opinion or decision off of a single incident but this time I believe it's justified. After telling a few people what happened I've learned that Richie has actually refused to honor O'reilly's policies numerous times. Hopefully O'Reilly's corporate office takes notice soon and handles the issue because they have already lost some loyal customers and if this keeps happening there will be very little busy at the Waveland location.
My friend went to St. Vincent DePaul to order their meds and I rode along. It was a good thing because i was able to turn in some paperwork that had been requested.
needed a few lugs to fit a trailer spindle: they went way out of their way to match a stud since no part numbers were available ( needed longer studs ). The service was superior - unfortunately, the studs ( made by DORMAN ) were garbage, but I can't fault the counter guys at O'Reilly's for that.
