This tow request was handled through my insurance, Allstate, and they contacted roadside assistance through Altair. The service was excellent — they arrived in less than 15 minutes after I placed the request.
The driver, Kenneth, mentioned he was still in training, but you would never have known it. He was polite, professional, and had such a positive and friendly attitude. He was very understanding and made the entire process stress-free, taking great care in getting my car onto the tow truck.
Kudos to Kenneth — I really appreciate his professionalism and the good energy he brought. Thank you again for such quick and outstanding service!
Excellent work and job well done. Traveling from Birmingham, AL to New Orleans for work and the transmission went out in my Tahoe when I stopped in Hattiesburg, MS. My roadside insurance was no help so I had to call around for towing service. I initially called what I would assume was a competitor, and they recommended I call ABCO for the type of state to state towing I needed. Best decision I made in a long time. The staff was courteous and were the only ones that offered solutions to my problems instead of flat out rejecting to help. The front office was upfront about the price (very reasonable all things considered) and talked me through step by step on what they would do to tow my Tahoe back home. The driver Kinnon, was also excellent in that he kept in contact with me to provide details on the service being done. ABCO truly helped me out during a time I needed help the most and I’d give this complete 20/10 stars. Best tow company in the state of MS!
AAA has sent out abco towing a few times, and every time it has been a positive experience. But this time was exceptional. The technician's name is Richard, and he went above and beyond the call to move my car safely and get it on the flatbed. Very highly recommended.
I got locked out of my car, and shelter sent ABCO to my rescue, and it was such a blessing. They were very fast, and saved my day. I highly recommend these guys when it comes to needing some assistance. My drivers name was Devin I think, and he’s the reason for the 5 stars!
Joel drives for ABCO but is contracted to AAA. He arrived, assessed the situation and decided a tow was in order. Did his job courteously and efficiently. A smile and a good attitude during a small crisis is appreciated.
They were dispatched to us through AAA and they were great! Kinnon was beyond patient with my sister and I and gave us good recommendations on places to have my car towed for repair. He made the experience as good as it could have been, even was patient enough to talk to our mom on the phone when we were trying to get it all figured out!! He was a blessing!! Call this company for an estimate. They told me they didn't have any drivers available. I explained to them all I need was a quote. they kept say they didn't have any drivers available. I said all I need is a quote Jesus Christ. They hung up. Then hung on me several other times when I tried to call back. I was able to her some guy saying that was him again when he would pick up and then hang right back up. The office personnel here are the rudest and most disrespectful people I've ever met. I don't see how this business even makes any money with people like this running the office. All I wanted was a quote. I'll be sure to tell any and everybody I know to NEVER TO USE THIS COMPANY
Hired this company to move a man's truck, gave them all the info, they agreed and paid for said tow. Company ghosted us, and when called said they would not do the tow. Never called to tell us, then took a week to refund money. Would not recommend using this company.
Called AAA when I realized we lost our key and wouldn’t be able to restart our new subaru. We were stranded in Hattiesburg! The ABCO tow truck driver, Kinnon, was unbelievably patient, attentive and kind. He wanted to help us so much but our new car’s antitheft features made it almost impossible. He was reading the car manual, worked on the fuse box, trying everything to help us… We even called my dealer to see how we could override the parking brake so he could tow it but we couldn’t disengage it without the key. So we had to leave the car for the night until we got our backup key via FedEx. Kinnon even offered to drive by occasionally during the night to check on our truck and trailer. What a great service! Highly recommended!
I’m sitting on the side of the interstate with a flat tire and am currently injured and can barely walk. State Farm dispatched ABCO for tire change/tow and, after waiting for them to get a manager to decide if they will travel to me, they informed me that I need to call someone else. I will be talking to my insurance company/roadside assistance provider about them. Now I have to sit here until I start the process over.

Tow driver arrived late and was unable to tow the vehicle due to the brakes being seized. However, proceeded to make negative comments about the type of vehicle and then said if we weren't there he would've dragged car up onto the truck which could have severely damaged the car's front bumper. (To whom it may concern the drivers name was Roy) It is my experience in the past and present with abco that the driver maybe knowledgeable, professional or the exact opposite by not caring about the quality of their work. Use at your own risk.
I was involved in an accident. On Friday taken to the hospital by ambulance. So without my knowledge my car was towed by this company that .my father-in-law called that evening to see if we could get my belongings out of my car they told him no to call back the next day we called back the next day was told no again to call back the next morning well that morning I called back I was told that I would have to pay a $50 gate fee to get my belongings out of my car which were my medications my eyeglasses my work tools and all of my personal belongings I feel like they're holding my car and my things hostage . Or like I did something wrong. The only thing I did wrong was allowing them to tow my vehicle. So people be wary if this company tows your vehicle you may or you may not get your things out of your car.
These two guys came out to see about us. We were stranded and a long ways from our destination with a blown out tire. They were really nice and helpful. They were fast at changing our tire we are so appreciative of them. I would definitely recommend this company to all of my friends and family.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This company was contacted by my insurance company for roadside tow as me and my family sat on the side of an on ramp. They came all the way to the intersection that we were at and then contacted my insurance company and told them they couldn't find us. A small two lane intersection, we were clearly dead in front of them. An hour later the company canceled our tow and 5 hours later we're still sitting on the side of the road. Shame on you.
Horrible service! Was scheduled for a tow and so I followed up them after they were late. They said we were next in line and the driver should be arriving shortly. Called back 30 minutes later, only to find out they rerouted the driver to another tow. They didn’t notify us of the delay and had no concern for the inconvenience. Only response was if I wanted to cancel the tow. It amazes me how companies like this stay in business
Jennifer from ABCO Towing replaced batteries in 2 different vehicles for me. Completely professional, gave me good information that I could understand and completed everything in a timely manner. Responded to my call quickly and gave me updates on arrival time and all of them were accurate. Very impressed with her and the service.
They took my mom's tire off and didn't end up having the battery so had to come back! A professional company would have made sure they had it before coming out. They stripped one of her studs on tire and they and still have not been back to put it on! It has been 3 weeks!
Absolutely phenomenal. I got a call from Hollywood confirming the service and he said he’ll be here in 15 mins, not quite 15. He went right to the problem, got my Traverse cranked in a matter of minutes, collected his information and a few minutes of conversation and advice about the battery. I locked keys in 2005 Lexus ES330 and AAA sent ABCO Towing out to my rescue. It would’ve been a quick fix except the car REFUSED to let the gentleman open the door— it kept locking itself even when handle should’ve let it open. Oh and the blaring alarm went off every attempt he made to open it. He patiently continued to get door to open, tried other door— same outcome, he was going to attempt to fish my keys out of the back passenger door handle area(which would’ve been impossible) but took one last stab at the front door…SUCCESS!
Shame on me for Not Getting his name bc he was absolutely amazing! Not only at getting the car open, but he was just genuinely a nice guy. Plus he came out on a Sunday!! Thank you
I have an F350 Dually, once ABCO was notified of the size of my truck, they immediately made the necessary arrangements for my truck to be picked up. They were promt, courteous and delivered my vehicle in a timely manner.

It took a while for the driver to arrive, but we were not in an emergency and I'm sure it wasn't the driver's fault. He was courteous, professional, and did a great job loading the truck. He did an even better job unloading in a tricky spot!
ABCO in Jackson, MS Was called by State Farm to tow my car. A man showed up to jump the battery. When that did not work said a tow truck would pick up my car in an hour. 8 hours later they had not arrived after saying each hour they would be there in an hour. I am 80 years old, have health issues and was running out of battery on my phone. They knew all of this but apparently did not care. As five o’clock was approaching I began to panic with one bar left on my phone was afraid I could not call anyone and would have to sleep in my car. Major Liability issue for them had anything happened to me. Finally after a 5:30 call another company arrived within an hour. Hercules...if you want the name of a good company. Both State Farm and AAA use ABCO so check on who they plan to call; if ABCO, ask them to call Hercules or another company. ZERO STARS FOR ABCO!
1000 miles from home on vacation and had dreaded car issues. AAA sent out ABCO and Wesley helped me out He took care with getting the car towed to Tire Trax for some great service too! Great MS hospitality by passerby people and the police dept while stranded while waiting.
The gentlemen that helped tow my car were very helpful and polite. I was on a cross country road trip when my car broke down. ABCO took the stress out the situation with their patience and knowledge. They arrived quickly and took me to my requested shop. Grade A service here. Thanks again.
Due to being blocked in on a gravel parking lot, I attempted to back out of my parking space and ended up with my car being stuck in about a foot of gravel and it would not budge. I called AAA the next morning and they sent ABCO to the rescue!
Justin was amazing! Professional, reassuring and all around an impressive example of courtesy. If everyone at ABCO Towing responds in the same manner as Justin, what a great company! Eventhough, I was initially a tad overbearing about my Mercedes, Justin calmly answered my questions and went on to handle "his business". He patiently retrieved the tow hitch from the trunk of my car (that I didn't even know existed) and proceeded to pulled my car out of its prison.
Once he finished he inspected the vehicle for possible obvious concerns and even suggested that I may want to get the undercarriage checked for possible sensor disruptions. What a great guy! What an impressive representative for ABCO! Thank you for sending Justin!
My car shut off on me at Canal road. We called AAA and an ABCO driver (Cody) was dispatched to us. He got there super quick and got us out of the way of traffic and was super friendly and took alot of pride in his job. We wound up towing my car home and he was great to work with. I highly recommend them!
My experience with ABCO Towing was great. I was initially going to have my car towed, however, after talking with Austin about what I had done to try to jump my car. He suggested that he try to jump it with a jump box before he towed my car to the dealership. He explained everything and suggested that I get my battery tested. Austin was amazing and so patient! I am thankful that they came to the rescue. I would definitely use them again.
