So there was an issue but they fixed it like they said they would so they def get the 5 stars! They told us on the phone full aluminum rims with no tire they give 15 a piece for. But then they only gave us 5 dollars a piece for them. Called them when I got home and realized what happened and they said to bring rciept back next business day and they would make it right, and we went back and they fixed it just like they said they would. Be aware that the guys that weigh the aluminum though are kinda rude. Our first time there we didnt know what to do so we tried to ask the dudes by the aluminum scale cause we had never been anywhere to scrap and they were the first people we seen. They didnt explain anything and were talking to us like we were stupid. So that part sucked. If youve never been before you dont know whats up. But after doing it once it is easy and the rest of the folks there were pretty friendly and helpful.
Best scrap yard near the Memphis area. They pay cash. Way less trouble than going to Martin Brothers with all their damn rules, regulations and the worst service I've ever experienced--- and remember I'm talking about Martin Brothers not in nesbitt. Nesbit Recycling the best there is! They also sell used auto parts.
I have been going here for 20 years around the same time every month. I get off work at 3:00 and I'm there by at least 3:30. The other day I showed up at 3:30 and I was turned away because they told me the state of Mississippi doesn't allow them to buy scrap brass and copper after 3:30, which is a lie. I wouldn't of minded if the guy told me that he didn't feel like doing it, but to tell me that it was a state law and lying to my face. That is really disrespectful to me as a person. 20 years I've been going here and now I will never go again.
Don’t scrap copper wire here!!! They will low ball the hell out of you. I had 407lbs of copper and 40lbs of aluminum wire. For $200. They gave me about a quarter of what it’s worth. I would have left and went somewhere else if I hadn’t unloaded it already. If you live near here you may as well go to Memphis with your scrap to get what it’s actually worth. Never coming here again! These people are WAY off on pricing!!! You’ve been warned.
Everytime ive come for some parts or any reason the people have been nice, never had issues, only thing i can say is i wish they would post their new arrival cars somehow instead of having to drive in.
Crooks you don't get the pay you think you will or should they under pay and disrespectful definitely don't take copper cause according to the lady at the counter they only have clean or dirty copper it doesn't matter if it's wire or tubing they only have 2 kinds clean or dirty no gauges just clean or dirty then if it's dirty they only give you .50 cent per lbs.
Tried calling to see what I would get for my car for scrap plus seeing if they would pay for the working parts. The guy on the phone was rude and hung up on me
Took a couple off old broken freezers and a few metal file cabinets and instead off dropped them off at the land fill , Nesbit Recycling gave me some cash.

Best scrap yard I’ve been to since I was a kid. Martin brothers price always seems off to me. This place is spot on, and the lady at the counter is the nicest person you could ask for...
In and out fast. The first few times I went there, they paid very well and were very nice. Recently though, they cut the rates in half (from 10lbs to 20lbs per dollar). Gonna try Desoto scrap next time and see if they pay any better.
Here its Saturday morning after I just talked to this company yesterday about loading my truck and bring it Saturday, and what do you know there not open! I drove a great deal of distance to come here unreliable. Absolutely unbelievable
