I needed to change a headlight bulb in my car. I went to the Monticello MN store to ask if someone could help me with this. The gentleman helping me did state it depended on my car. Lucky for me access is straight forward. The gentleman that was helping me then changed both my headlight bulbs. He answered any questions I had about possibly doing it myself and showed me how to remove the connection. It saved me a lot of money and now I know how to do it myself. Thank you guys so much!
Their batteries are trash, don’t work in the cold and you have to warranty them every 3 months. My OEM battery lasted 4 years! Everything tested out working except the cold start from the mechanic, deeming it a dud battery issue but I just got it 3 months ago. Of course they wouldn’t warranty it either because I had it jumped and it was currently working. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY BATTERY NEEDS. I’m on battery 3 in 6 months.
I WOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF I COULD!! This was the best experience ever. My car would not start. I first went to NAPA across the street and the employee there said I had 60% battery and did not know how to start my car when I had to turn it off. I went to O’Reilly and said my battery was dead and leaking. They had changed it out in 2 minutes. The whole process took 5 minutes. It was extremely fast! They even checked my life on my alternator and starter. 200 bucks for a battery later and I was good to go!!! Thank you Luke and the other male employee for helping me tonight.
Have a great selection of anything automotive, would however like it if all the employees would be wearing a uniform, couldn't tell who was working there and who was a customer
Sold me a wrong part and would not give cash back when i paid cash ten minutes earlier. Had to drive to st cloud for correct part leaving 7 kids and 2 wifes stranded with minivan in holiday parking lot
Sunday June 11 2023, front doors locked, stores hours of operation not posted on building. Online says open 9-7. Been here for 30 minutes now. Tried calling big lake store they said they have no idea why the store isn't open. Tried calling the district manager store manager and regional manager. NOTHING. I can't just go to another store either because I ordered the part I needed to the Monticello store and the guy told me they would be open at 9:00 a.m. and I could come pick it up. Great job o riellys. I've watched 50 customers come try and open the door. This is pathetic. Bad for your buisness
Staff here are very helpful. I was running errands for my husband today and the staff helped me I coming out from behind the counter and locating the items in the store.
mannn i got a flat tire today while headed to Alexandria from mpls...stopped by home depot and target in Monticello only to be disappointed further lol(auto sections at both are non existent)..anywho risked the rim and drove to Oriellys where I met Chris Johnson and the rest of the team! today they helped out more than expected! answering all my questions and being very patient and giving suggestions on which tools to get for the job! long story short GREAT JOB!!!! I'll cash app a tip of one of yall ever read this lol
I'd love to make it a zero. When we went in they ignored us while they were sitting there on their computers and then helped a different man that just walked in after us!
I feel bad I didn't even ask the man's name, but 30 minutes to close and I needed a bulb for my wife's car. I didn't even know what kind of bulb of the top of my head and he figured out what kind on bulb. I get to checkout and realized I don't even have my wallet and paying with my phone was not an option. What does he do? He pays for the bulb out of his own pocket. Fifteen dollars or $150, that's what makes a great experience. Five stars hands down.
Top notch! My engine light came on so stopped by and the guys hooked up their sensor machine to help figure out the problem. Very friendly staff! Thanks guys
My first time at this particular store. The staff where helpful after a while and did a great job selling me the wrong size exhaust parts. I will say that they did a great job pushing the up sale by reminding me that even though I lived nearly 100 miles away, I could return whatever I didn't need or didn't fit to my local store. Not sure that sound as attractive as I was crawling out from under my off-road truck the next day in -15*F weather. No hard feelings. We tried earnestly. But other than that, I enjoy shopping at parts stores.
Your typical O’Reilly store. Went here for an oil filter I needed asap since I was in the middle of an oil change before I realized the filter I bought was the wrong one for my lawn mower. I paid $16 for a Wix filter that you can get online for $6. They had what I needed but the prices can be ridiculous.
The staff know what they are doing. Down to earth, fast and friendly. If you are in the surrounding area, stay away from the big lake location. Exact opposite.
came in to look for windshield wipers - 2 guys behind the counter, not once offered to help and once I came to the register, neither acknowledged. so, I walked out and went to Auto Zone - Auto Zone will now have my business. if I could give 0 stars to R'Reilly I would
I'm from out of state. I come to MN quite a bit. If I need anything for the truck, this is my first stop. Great customer service, every time. These guys and gals are very knowledgeable. Always helpful. Thx !
Very helpful and friendly store. I could easily get my stuff from the shelf but they always insist on getting it for me. They even offer to take it to the car for me!
Staff is always friendly, they know where everything is, and I've never had to order anything in for any of my vehicles. They also carry the specialty tools to either purchase or rent.
