No call No show. When I try to get ahold of anyone goes to voice-mail and no one calls back. We went with a different company who is able to pick up right away and will give cash so no need to worry about a check not being valid. Plus we were offered more from New company.
I went through Peddle to sell my old car. Soowys made an offer right away, and called to confirm an appointment to come pick it up the next day.
I had an 11-3 window.
I waited all day...they pulled a no call no show.
I called them, twice. But it goes to voicemail and they will not return calls.
Scheduled a pickup though peddle, nobody ever showed up and they don’t answer the phone here. There’s no way to call anyone and they just wasted my time do not use this service
I am so confused by this company so far. I followed a link that connected me to companies that are buying cars and I clicked and did all of the steps and they connected me to this shop. One thing that stuck out in the message is that they said the Company that would be buying my car is going to send me a text pretty soon. I waited a few minutes to a few hours and nothing happened and I assumed it was because it was outside of business hours. This was 7 PM and the shop closes at 6 PM or 5 PM anyways so no big deal right?
Well, I have been trying to call them unsuccessfully since they opened and each time it’s either gone to voicemail or left me with an option to leave them a voicemail. Honestly, this is highly disappointing because I thought I was really going to be able to sell my car and I’ve already dealt with enough problems that stopped me from being able to sell my car that I’m no longer using so this company just added to all of those issues with their poor customer service. There’s no reason whatsoever why I should be calling two times… 2 DIFFERENT TIMES Mind you and I’m still not able to reach anybody. So far, I’m really disappointed in this company and honestly if I didn’t know any better I would think they are a scam because this is really crappy customer service right here. I will leave another review if they actually show up but so far, I am losing any type of trust that I had for them And I haven’t even received a service yet. This company really needs to do better though because I’m seeing so many one star reviews and the same types of complaints so far.
Had a good experience working with Soowys Corp. I setup a scheduled pickup for my old car. I was notified by text the day of pickup that the driver was running late so we adjusted the time slot by a couple hours. The driver called when he arrived, we completed the title and bill of sale paperwork and I was paid cash on the spot. The driver was friendly and took care of everything from there. He left about 15 minutes later after hooking up my car. I will be happy to work with Soowys again.
We have scheduled a pickup through PBS with this company and we are extremely disappointed with how this has turned out. We can not get a hold of them and every time we need to speak to someone, we are told to leave a message. We were rescheduled without letting us know. Please if you have the choice, do NOT use this company at all. In fact, run away
A guy came to pick up car from a shop I work at and with having 16 years of towing experience. This guy doesn't know how to hook or Properly secure a vehicle. Never do you put a hook though the rim ever!!!! Overloaded the Suspension when securing it to the truck does not need to be sunk all the way to the bed. Junk yard/scrap towing this stuff would be ok but not for roadside..
My fiance purchased a vehicle from this place and got screwed over. They sent us a title and it wasn't even the right one. We got pulled over in the vehicle we purchased from them and it was not the right title. The police had the vehicle towed and we couldn't get a hold of them to see what the hell was going on. Called numerous times and no answer. Left messages and never a call back. Now my fiance is looking at time locked up and it definitely isn't his fault. We purchased the vehicle May 10th 2024 it was on a Friday. Some reason we had to wait for the title because they transferred it themselves. We thought it was legit and apparently it was not. The Vin number on the car and title were 2 different numbers. Don't buy from these people they are crooks.
Horrible customer service. Zero stars should be an option. If you need to contact them, forget about it. They do not answer the phone. I don’t know why they have the option to leave a message. I left two messages and did not receive a call back for either one. What great customer service they provide.
Update: I finally received a call from them, but only because of the bad review. I left the messages on 5/23 and 6/3 so they had plenty of time to respond instead of waiting until they received a bad review. They need to improve their customer service and stop ignoring voicemail messages.
Also went through wheelzy. The guy who came to take my car asked me to sign the title, took my thumb print, then walked away and said they changed their mind and lowered the offer. I wish I could give zero stars though because unbelievably he also asked in Spanish if he could urinate in my yard(!). Entiendo Espanol, y, no gracias. Oddest question I have ever been asked. I insisted on getting my title back, and fingerprint (!) which he tried to drive away with (!!), and went with another company. Thankfully I have ID protection, and I can't imagine a circumstance that would warrant using such a company.

A few reasons for the 1 star but to sum it up; it’s just super inconvenient.
- they originally gave me a window of 3-8pm, then they call me that day of WHILE I’m at work at 9am and tell me they’ll arrive at 4:30pm.
5:00 comes around and no one is here, I call two different numbers multiple times and get nothing back. Horrible communication.
FINALLY at 5:50ish they arrive (1hr20 min late)
The drivers were super friendly, and the paperwork was easy (the only reason they even have one star) however they didn’t speak English well at all, making it difficult to communicate.
Once they get here they deduct $25 from my payment for “catalytic converters missing “ when they’re not.
The payment process was even more inconvenient. Instead of a check they give me $175 in cash and $150 on cashapp.
This whole ordeal was a pain in the neck, next time I’ll let the tow yard closer to me take it for free. That’s how bad it was
I bought a car from Frances & she unfortunately sold me a car that was shot. It was leaking coolant into the engine & had a head gasket problem. I drove the car for about 3 days & i immediately had to start adding coolant to it everytime i drove it. I reached out to Frances immediately & She took the car back for 5 months & did absolutely nothing to it in that time. Then when she gave it back made up sum broken sensor story & stopped answering my texts. We actually knew Frances so it was really upsetting to have been ripped off like this. We asked multiple times for her to make the situation right in sum way & she completely ignored us. She knew exactly what she was doing & did it good. She was sneaky & manipulative multiple times through out the process of purchasing the car. Do NOT do business here & especially with Frances. I can’t get my $2500 back but hopefully I can prevent someone else from getting ripped off.
Tow drivers hasn’t even picked up my car yet, but the pickup process has been incredibly difficult. I called an agent yesterday to schedule a pickup, they gave me a window of 3-5PM. I waited at the pickup location for the entirety of 3-5PM only for them to SEND ME AN EMAIL AFTER 5PM re-scheduling pickup for the next day at 3PM. After getting off the phone with an agent just now, the tow driver has an ETA of 4PM now. As someone that works two jobs, this is incredibly frustrating.
I’ve had to take time away from work to be ready for a company that seemingly doesn’t care if they waste people’s time. I can understand if things get busy a people need to postpone, but there was no communication about my pickup time being changed. Will update my review after the sale is completed, but so far it’s been an absolute mess
EDIT: On pickup, the tow driver was one of the nicest guys around. Handled everything quickly and was super friendly! There were no problems towing my car and issuing payment. Easily the tow service was 5 star level, but unfortunately the phone agents once again acted super unprofessionally so I can’t add any stars
I was waiting outside the pickup location for an additional half hour after leaving the review, and right as the tow truck pulled up, an agent called me and said “Actually the driver is here and has been waiting for several minutes.” And…no he wasn’t? Whoever the phone agents are for this company are people who would rather lie to try and make a customer feel bad rather than own up that they have provided a bad experience.
I wasted hours and money taking time off of work for a company that shifted pickup times on me. While the tow service itself was 5 star caliber, it was such a pain to get there that I can’t recommend this place to anyone else. Would suggest this place only as your last option to sell your car if you don’t have lots of free time.
Had a great experience! I’ve had a hard time saying goodbye to my old car… but they made it so much easier. Arrived as scheduled, the driver was very nice and made it a quick and easy process. Got the money right away too.
Seems to be a common occurrence here sold my junk car through peddle who promised cash on pickup contracted soowys, the pick up was smooth considering the cars brakes had locked up, however i was handed a check for the amount, not a big deal i can just go deposit this. . .or so i thought, the check bounced and after calling numerous times i have yet to receive a call back, other than when they mistakenly called me instead of another customer who was selling a car when i corrected them they promptly hung up on me
Like many others, the check they gave me bounced.! I have made over 30 calls and emails to this company. No response yet, its been easily over 2 weeks. It has become my job to track down this company for payment. You took ownership of my vehicle and did not make good on the transaction. Bad business!
If I could give no stars I would. The check they gave me couldn't be cashed.
I drove to there location and had to demand cash on the spot. Insist on being given cash or no deal. There phone numbers go directly to a recording and they will not call you back.
Do not use this company! If I could leave no stars, I would. This company came and picked up my car last week on behalf of Wheelzy and the check they wrote out to me was no good. After repeated messages left to have someone call me to get this resolved not a single call of mine was returned. I finally went to the address on the check. When I explained why I was there, no one looked surprised. Without any explanation, they offered to Cash App me the amount of the check. What a hassle. I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience. DO NOT use this company if you actually want to cash the check they write you. The gentlemen who came to pick up my car were incredibly kind and the process was pretty quick. They wrote a check and took my car within about 15/20 minutes. The check was not accepted via mobile deposit and my bank told me not to try again. There was a note on the check that included a phone number just in case you had issues cashing it. That should have been red flag #1. I talked to this person once and they never answered the phone again. I left messages, sent texts and no one has returned my calls. I've called their main number as well. I finally ended up going to a check cashing place that told me they stopped cashing checks from SOOWYS because they owed a bunch of money. I then called another check cashing place that told me they also don't really cash these checks anymore because they are usually owed money. They said SOOWYS has a bad reputation and she only got them to pay up recently because she left about 30 messages and then threatened to sue them. It was an incredibly frustrating experience to say the least.
Update as of 10/8/2024: The check bounced and I'll unfortunately have to call the authorities since the only response I've gotten is to this review and there was no offer to fix anything. SOOWYS stole my car.
I sold them my Chrysler 300. They wrote me a check that nobody wanted to cash. The two cash checking places told me this company owes them money and refused to cash it. There's a phone number on the check to call for verification which never rings. Simply sends you to voicemail. After threatening to call the authorities I was sent my money via cash app. Watch out for these people. Pretty shady activity!
Had my junk picked up last week.
The driver was there exactly at the time I requested.
I also have narrow driveway next to my Driver did a great job maneuvering to the back.
Best part of all he gave me the exact cash amount that I was offered on the spot!
We thought it was a great deal until the check that was given to us was a bounced check and sent back to our bank. Please issue us a new check. **Update** They reimbursed us with cash, actually brought the cash to our house and explained the issue they had. I increase my rating from 1 star to 4 and I would sell to them again in the future.
The guy who picked my car up offered to let me sit in his vehicle while we were doing paperwork because it was raining, so that was very kind, and the transaction was quick with no issues so I do commend him for that. Everything went smooth until they wrote me a bad check. After speaking with HR, they resolved the issue but it was not a great look for them. I don’t think I’d use or recommend them in the future, because of this, unfortunately.
I give 5 stars for customer service, and ability to problem solve what could have been a negative situation. It's still are good ppl in this world, and from my experience they are just that. Actually responsive, and stayed on the line while we figured things out. From my experience I would do business with them again if I had to no doubt. They came the same day to pick up my vehicle, and the customer service is A1. Good luck and God Bless to all
The process was super easy and quick, my car was gone within 24 hours from when I submitted it online. The driver that came to pick up my car was so nice. I was given a pick up window over the phone, but then a different time in the confirmation email so I was actually in the middle of buying a car when they called saying the driver was on his way. We rushed home and apologized repeatedly as he was already there, but he was so nice about it. He was quick, sweet and professional. He was in and out in maybe 10 minutes including all the paperwork and a quick inspection under the hood. I appreciate him, thank you so much!
Very responsive customer service. The driver arrived on time and was a pleasure to work with. Before winching the car onto the flatbed, he wrote me a check. The check bounced when I tried to deposit it, but their customer service took care of the problem immediately. I would definitely use them again!
We were pleased with the whole process of them picking up the vehicle. They paid when they picked it up and it was done. No problems. I didn’t like it so much that they wanted me to crawl under it and take a picture of the catalytic converter, but I suppose they have people that cut that off before junking a car and it’s part of the value they can get out of it.
This process was professional, smooth and easy sailing. Staff were great and the Tow man was so cool he was patient, professional and experienced Thank You so much for taking that vehicle off my hands omg God Bless
