completely bad business. To tow my car in front of my property is one thing, but for me to catch the guy and by policy it’s 100 cash to drop the car is also cool. The thing that upsets me if it is a cash only offer why am I not allowed to run back into my house for 5 mins to grab cash. Money hungry people with no decency. Mind you the tow warning was at 9:30 and this was done at 9:35 deciding to take my car instead of the other cars available bc he knew I had to go inside to get the cash. Do not hire this company for your business or apartment complex they will most likely tow a workers car without knowing. Also i’m attaching pictures of the abandoned cars left in my lot that this tow truck decided to miss so he could take mine.

Your business preys on the misfortune of others. Big snow emergency wasn’t it!! Not at all. It was a money grab! Someone needs to put a stop to this. It’s theft!! The tow driver was not knowledgeable about my vehicle. They told towed my manual transmission vehicle with the rear wheels down and E brake applied for 18 miles. They Burned out my rear brakes . This company should be shut down. Update, my brake pads were worn down to the metal. The excessive heat actually burn my wheel bearings. So this whole, non snow emergency tow will cost me a total of 1400 bucks. That’s to get my car out of impound, full brake job with two new rear wheel bearings. Everyone I talk to, is telling me to take your business to small claims court.

Went to get my car. The lady was on the phone when I walked up sat there for about 10 minutes while she was on the phone.. didn't tell me to hold on or wait or anything.. I asked her was there someone there to help me she put the phone down with a attitude and asked me did I see her on the phone with a attitude... I told her she could've at least told me to hold on or she would be with me in a sec and she did she didn't have to say anything because I could see she was on the phone.. than we go back and forth than she tells me now I need my title to get my car after she said on the phone I needed my ID and 300 dollars.. than I said my title is in the car and she wouldn't let me go get it and did I needed to go to the dmv and get a copy of it... I never heard that before so I called the police and he printed something out of his car stating it was my car and she told him she wouldn't accept it... than the cop told me to walk off and he talked to her and she ended up giving me my car... and it's crazy because on there website they harp on customer service and say that's what set them apart from anyone else and this was absolutely the worst experience with customer service I have ever had in my life that lady is the worst possible person to deal with customers.. I do not recommend doing any business with her and if u have to go get your car good luck just hope she is in a good mood or she will put you through the ringer with an attitude... and I'm sure the positive reviews are from the bigger lady that sits at the desk

I worked with PCL towing as my designated towing vendor when managing an apartment building in St.Paul and had a great experience working with this company. They were responsive when making requests on the phone, quick with email responses, and friendly to interact with in person. They reliably checked our lot for violations as we expected, and were timely when we scheduled additional services such as when we would need to have our tow plowed in winter. Tow driver Mike was always friendly to chat with and was incredibly patient when dealing with unhappy vehicle owners. If I were ever in need of a commercial tow contractor in St. Paul they would be my first call and have no hesitations to recommend them to anyone personally in need of a tow.

I would not recommend this business due to a number of serious concerns regarding professionalism, consistency, and customer service. The information provided to customers is highly inconsistent. For example, one individual was instructed to bring insurance documentation, an ID, and $300 in cash, while I was only asked to bring a key, a driver’s license, and the same cash amount. This lack of a standardized process is both confusing and unprofessional. Customer service is another major issue. The front desk representative was unnecessarily combative and dismissive when I raised concerns about the company’s poor reputation. Rather than addressing the feedback constructively, she became argumentative, which only reinforced the negative impressions I had already formed. The company frequently attempts to dismiss negative reviews by suggesting they come from people upset about being towed. However, many reviews—particularly those found on the Better Business Bureau—highlight more serious issues, including reports of vehicle damage and questionable business practices. Based on my experience and the pattern of complaints from others, I would caution potential customers to proceed with care.

Horrible experience. The lady threw my 300$ in my face and told me I couldn't get my car because she didn't want to deal with the person with me. He was not even a problem, and she was dealing with me, and I was kind and respectful.. I was really disappointed with how unprofessional this person was and how I was treated. Life is already hard. Why make it worse for someone? I just wanted to pay and get my car back.

This company is a thug. They stole my car at 3:45 am, only to be told in the morning by property management that it was towed by them. I was informed they were contracted by the office supposedly to be a quick money making deal. They take only cash $300 which is suspicious. Rumors has some percentage goes back to the properties who contract them.

PLC towing was a great help to me when i was in a pinch. Car started on fire cops put it out and PLC towed me home. Driver was very sympathetic and even gave me a recommendation for a repair shop

Horrible towing service. They steel car out of my parking lot even tho I have a parking pass. I can show them the pass as I go and get my car they still demand $300 to get my own car. And they get away with this. They super shady , the lady is not friendly at all, they deserve tobe in business. Thanks for steeling my car and taking my money.. horrible people

Horrible service. No point of having contracts with apartment complex because they want to go based off what THEY report. When every night there is people who do NOT live here park and take spots for the actual residence that live here. They hung up on me and disregarded my complaint about people being here without passes being parked here. Super unprofessional, very pointless business that they have here, seriously.

I got towed by them and I was fine with paying their high fee. However my cars window was completely broken and they insisted they did not break my car. One guy showed me the photos they took before towing it and they only took pictures of the right side of the car before they towed it. However the damage is on the left side of the car, MY ELECTRIC SCOOTER STOLEN FROM MY TRUNK AS WELL AS OTHER ITEMS LOOKED THROUGH! They also still have some of the pieces in their lot on the ground. They were no help at all just insisted that I broke it before it came in like that.

This Towing company preys on people who are marginalized!! They are racist! You take an assignment that you have not honored for over six months and then wait till 2 days before Christmas in the lowest economical place and you take advantage of the snow emergency plow route that’s in place until the 23rd. Then you finally decided to do your job. Yes, I live here and I’ve parked in my parking lot for six months. Then threaten me because I don’t have real plates on my car you think I didn’t purchase my car myself And you think I don’t have insurance to drive off the lot you actually assume that it’s probably not in my name. And why would you assume that? because you know I’m in a low economical area. Good thing God is on my side, but I just want to point out how scummy that is. There must be some sort of incentive for people who do this kind of thing we all have to make ends of meet. Unfortunately, you all do it by being bullies. That’s OK I have three children and I work two jobs ans a single mom and I go to school for my masters so I can afford it.

Tried to give them the title to my car and work out a payment arrangement. The rude Karen on the phone didn't want to hear a payment plan or be nice. I am a disabled veteran, live on a fixed income, won't put PLC first when it comes to payment. I will always choose my family first. The lady that answers the phone is the worst human I could have talked to about this situation. I am willing to pay what is owed, just not all at once cause that put my family in a bad situation. Never use this company to even wipe my but.

My car got towed, and you might think I’d be upset—but honestly, I’m impressed. The company and its employees are true professionals. They genuinely care about their team and the services they provide. I have nothing negative to say. Thank you for your generosity, professionalism, and understanding as you do your due diligence.

Horrible people horrible horrible business practices. Lady at the front desk is the worst of them. to anyone unfortunate enough to have their car towed here good luck and you might have to get the cops involved

Would give negative stars if I could My car was parked where I live for only 8 hours and got towed because the sticker wasn’t visible. It is inside the vehicle. After explaining to her I can’t have the sticker visible due to my apartment unit being on the sticker and I have an active court ordered OFP in place so its unsafe for me to display that information, she rudely told me it doesn’t matter and it will still be $300 to get my car back. She wouldn’t even tell the address for the place, told me I can just “google it” Will be reaching out to management. I understand company policies but there was no need to be so rude and could have offered other solutions.

I’ve never had my car towed before. I take care of it and follow rules. My car was towed from my own residence, which is a whole other problem with my complex I won’t get into. But after calling this place twice to try to understand why it was towed and if there’s anything that can be done, from the get go, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and she had me in tears. When I get there to pay for my car I’m trying to ask a simple question a oh the document I’m signing and she was yelling over me to not interrupt her or speak over here, which I wasn’t. To have that kind of service at a place that is already stressful and disappointing to deal with in that situation, is not okay. Be a kind human. Being considerate should be minimal at least. Plus there is a scratch on my car that wasn’t there before….of course I can’t prove it. I was very unhappy with the interactions and service here.

They are fast and answer quickly. I have always had a positive experience with this company and will continue to use them for all towing/ roadside assistance needs!

I don’t know who else works there but the front desk woman is HORRIBLE with people. My vehicle was towed from my new complex for the sticker not being visible (on dash not on window yet). I just moved in and didn’t know where it was supposed to go yet. I was only given the phone number of where to call and got HER. She was matter of fact for price and pick up with no basic human conversational empathy, sympathy or compassion during a crappy situation. When I asked for their address (again I wasn’t even sure of the business name through my crying) she told me to “google it”. Is it that hard to just give your address? Before hanging up the phone she turned to someone in the room and said “am I being punked today?” (She later told me she knew I was still on the phone and could hear her as if she was proud of that). I took an Uber there and was not allowed to get my wallet to pay them from the towed vehicle. She was rude and further explained that she told me cash on the phone (I don’t recall) and also that I wouldn’t be in this situation if I had used “common sense” and just “put the sticker on a window”. I told her that as she works with people she could show some compassion when people are in a situation like this and at the very least not be rude. She stated “I’m not here to make friends”. This may be a good company or have good people (who knows) but they should seriously reconsider her as the voice and face that people interact with. Maybe just bring her out for the escalated and trouble customers. Not for everyone including single moms having a bad morning.

Thank You! to Paul and PLC Towing for coming to our rescue today when our plow truck broke down. Quick service, friendly driver, and awesome customer service! We use PLC often and highly recommend them for towing and roadside needs. Thanks again!

0 stars, horrible lady working at desk. Very disrespectful and doesn’t like to help people. My vehicle was towed out of my parking lot and told them the pass is probably on the ground cause it falls for no reason cause it’s torn a little. Even though my pass is in the vehicle she couldn’t find any compassion to know that I wasn’t in the wrong because I don’t purposefully put it on the grounds and that sometimes people can be cut slack because things can happen that they don’t even try to do, and it ends in a work vehicle being towed? Very unprofessional team that can’t find any compassion for any people any day of the week. I own a company and can understand where I am coming from, they do not and for this I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone at all. Also here is pictures of over 4 other cars in my parking lot that doesn’t have a pass, and even ages from out of state….

I experienced another incident where my car was taken without justification. The spotter never got out of his vehicle to check if my tag was on the dashboard. I have it on security camera that he only took a picture of the window before towing my car, even though my tag was there—it fell off during the towing process. They claim to have proof but refuse to show it when I ask. When I proved they were wrong, they still wouldn’t return my car without payment. They reduced the fee but insisted I pay in cash, which seems suspicious. The customer service from both the office staff and the tow operators is terrible.

Horrible experience!! Customer service was very rude and she would not help me. My car was damaged when I picked it up and she basically told me that I caused it. That I broke my parking break under the hood. I would give 0 stars if I could. The fact the was no accountability and blamed me for it is wild. I can’t believe they have been in business this long. Horrible ratings on BBB and on google. Highly recommended to stay as far as you can from this company!

No stars! This towing company will play dirty and will go as low as possible to get money out of your pocket! I strongly advise who ever lives in apartments, townhomes, senior living etc. Please lock your car doors and make sure your parking permit is visible. These lowlives has nothing better to do other than their rounds and will do ANYTHING to tow your car off the lot. Like tugging on people's car doors better yet breaking into people's cars and removing their permit from visibility. Take a quick picture about YOUR car not having a permit that's "VISIBLE" in which they will tow your car at their own will. Calling them isn't very pleasant. Lady over the phone needs some serious attitudes adjustments, failed to present any information about your car's whereabouts. Refuse to answer your questions and hangs up on you. They are quick to play the victim card if possible and tell you that it's YOUR responsibility to make sure YOUR permit is visible. Failure to proceed as operating business. Their site says they are open 24 hours. That's huge lie. Coming in the office at their own time on the weekends and if your not there on THEIR time your car stays over night and they charge you for it. Refuse to let you see your car if it's damage before you pay your towing feeds. If YOUR car is damaged they will say your at fault. They are contracted to do their job. Yet will stoop as low as possible to make a few hundreds off of you. And blame you for them having to do THEIR job as a towing company. FAILURE of a business! Services is a joke! And Theives to the community!

They let any one take cars off the lot regardless if you even own it. called and asked the woman who works there what some one needs to get a car off the lot. She says title, proof of insurance, ID with same as title. Then let some one who doesn't even own the vehicle pick it up.... With no proof of any "required" documents.

UPDATE: Had my partners car towed. And now this time they towed it with a PLC sticker on it. I called in and the lady who answered said if the sticker isn’t exactly where we say it is that she isn’t looking in any other corners and she’ll keep it in there. She then called back and told us to bring the title to the car. FOR WHAT?!? Absolute scam of a company. Again, lady who opened the gate was pleasant - no issue with her. Just the b who called and answered the phone should be ashamed of herself. Changed my rating to 1 star. Gal who opened the gate for us was very pleasant. But the whole ordeal that went down was anything but fantastic. Website says open 24 hours, if you call at any time they answer their phone (as drivers are always driving around). But if you try to pick up your car, maybe call and ask if they are open so you don’t waste time and gas. Went down there at 7 am and no workers were there. We called and they said that they open at 9. Please post these hours on your google site!

I contacted this company and filled out the forms at 8:30 am and still nobody has contacted me back 8 hours later to remove an illegally parked car on my property. I called Certified towing and they were there within 30 minutes. Highly recommended certified towing and not PLC.

Chances are if you are talking to PLC you are having a bad day. If you are nice to them you will find everything will run smoothly and they will do what they can to help you. If you are finding that they aren't so helpful you might want to do some self reflection and ask yourself what did I do for them to react to me like this. Unless I'm out of their service area theyou are the only place I'll call
