We were having a hard time finding a fender for a Ford Bronco. No one locally had it, and it was backordered through Ford. We ended up calling Pam’s Auto and JR was super helpful. He not only found the part for us but also sent photos of the fender before it shipped, along with order confirmation and tracking info. The communication and service were honestly better than most vendors we work with. Highly recommend them!

My wife was stranded in St. Paul area of MN. We needed a rim for her vehicle. Local dealer found at Pam’s. Mohamed took my call and the rest is history. He took my order, arranged delivery approx 90 mi away and was able to get repair done and her back on the road. Far and above on service and taking such great care of us in a time of dire need. I can’t thank Pam’s and Mohamed enough.

We purchased a transmission and when we received it, it had a tag that said it had been inspected. We out the transmission in the car, we dropped the pan and it still had the fluid and filter in the transmission so the transmission could not have been inspected like they had claimed. Transmission had small amount of debris in the pan so we put new fluid and filter in and transmission only lasted a week and a half. We tried to send the transmission back after 5 weeks and Pam's Auto would not honor their warranty so now we're stuck with a $1600 transmission that is no good. They told me to call ebay for a refund!? We will never use Pam's Auto again and highly recommend that Noone else does either.

Had a zero star experience with Pam's Auto Parts and with manager Tyler, and Lee. Our business purchased an engine , we were told there was a certain core charge that we would get back after the engine was returned. We returned the engine in the condition of a industry standard complete core, then we were told that it was incomplete because the bent pushrods and collapsed lifters were not included with the core return, those parts ended up in scrap due to the fact that we are not in the business of reassembling broken engines to qualify as a complete core return.. They said they sell their cores to a third party that sets the rules for what constitutes as a complete core. We were not told that we were subject to a third party core buyer until the core engine was returned. The Core that we returned was complete, it was the cylinder heads, the block with the valve covers, oil pan Etc intact.. our Automotive technician had to disassemble the engine to find out why it failed and if it had to be replaced. Never before were we denied a full core return due to third-party core buyer rules. They were very rude and wouldn't listen to our complaints and offered a gift card for Pam's Automotive or half of the core charge back. We will never buy any auto parts from Pam's "third party rules" auto parts. Buyer beware they will change the rules on you.
Thank you for responding to the review. The bottom line is we were never told prior to the core being sent back. Never have we encountered returning a core that must be totally reassembled as a complete engine ,and being told that some Rebuilders refurbish and sell bent pushrods and collapse lifters from active fuel management GM engines. We feel like you guys were being underhanded and you looked for the opportunity to cut our core charge in half. We charge our customers a certain amount when we estimate jobs, with the core charge that's promised by the seller when we buy the used engine. Have been burnt on being sold the wrong part, tampered with part, or they sell the part out from underneath you, here multiple times. Always puts me and my customers behind on time and work. Never a sorry or we will make it right. Just an oops and oh no we didn’t change parts on a used engine we sold you. Later to admit they have. Go else where and get better support.

The starter on my truck went out unexpectedly, leaving me in a huge bind. New/remanufactured options in town were between $250-$300 so I figured it might be worthwhile to see what Pam's had to offer. Brandon at the front counter found me a great option quickly and efficiently. Russell delivered a super clean and functionally perfect starter, right to my vehicle as I waited outside. I was in, out and on my way in about ten minutes.

Pam’s is our go to for larger parts. The smaller stuff 99.9% of the time is cheaper online or even OEM. But for larger stuff everything we’ve ever got actually works, is in decent shape and they offer a warranty on everything, in my opinion that shows they actually have faith in their parts. We’ve not needed to use a warranty yet so hopefully if we do, that process isn’t a mess.
Lee is our guy and is always on top of stuff, calls back quickly, fun to chat with, good humor, and seems honest.
Reason for the 4 star. You go to get a part and you wait forever even when “it’s ready”. We’ve waited up to 40 minutes at times when there’s not another person anywhere.
Everyone who works here is quite nice and chatty, which is refreshing after you leave dumpy APS lol.

Have always had a pleasant experience when needing any kind of part! JR has always been the best to deal with on multiple occasions! He is happy to assist anytime I have questions and is always polite! Would recommend asking for JR if anybody needs to reach out to this company!

If I could leave a zero star review I would, a negative star would be more accurate even. PAM Auto has been the worst experience of a lifetime. I would rather get on a boat and float to Vietnam to pick up a part for my car then ever buy a part from this company.

I ordered a complete bumper assembly for a 2023 F150. I paid over $1500 including shipping. When it arrived, one of the fog lamps was broken so they sent me another one but it was the wrong one. When I realized this I had to send it back and they charged me extra for the right one. Then I discovered that the air dam actuators did not work so I asked them to send me ones that did work. They refused. The left actuator from the original bumper had not been damaged so I asked them for a credit so I could buy the Right one and they refused. I have not been very happy with the quality of what comes out of there. It may look ok but some items don't work. I won't buy from them again. I never mentioned that it was a halogen light. The original bumper was sent with led lights. They somehow got it wrong. As far as the length of time, the actuators NEVER worked. I had to wait for other parts so I didn't get it back together until now. Wrecking yards should test their parts before saying they are good and sending them out!

From the salesman jr was very helpful and accurate on discrimination. And the three guys that helped me load the two pickup boxes were excellent. I have been in the collision business for 40 years . And this is the best organized and clean place I've ever been.

Customer service needs to be addressed. I ordered a part for an Insurance company. although it did come fast and in ok condition. The reps who answer the phone need to be way less abrasive. and rude. Quit making it sound like an inconvenience that we call and need something. You need to smile and be happy. But no. Rude every time I call. I will not be sending any business they way of this company as I firmly believe that how you treat a customer or potential are hugely important. You call my shop, my employees are happy and ready to help. Be cautious find the right place for you.

PAMs is the best! I've been ordering parts for our body shop for 7 years and we've never had any issues. Out of the 100+ vendors I deal with, PAMs has the best packaging. Other places ship AM headlamps in their original box and they show up damaged from being tossed around in shipping. PAMs puts them in another box with miles of filler to prevent that from happening. In 2018, I started working with Chase. In 2020, I was happy to hear his hard work had earned him a well-deserved promotion. In 2021, Randy and I started working together and still do today! He has always went above & beyond. He responds fast and sends pictures if i ask. A big thing for me, Randy has never made me feel bad if we have a return. Some places make you feel like returns are a burden, even when it's something out of our control like a customer cancels their appt after we've received the parts. Randy has always been understanding and easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about Randy and PAMs. If you're thinking of ordering from them, do it!!!

I work at a collision center and have ordered/received many parts over the years from Pam's. There will always be bad parts or mistakes on an option or things like that. That being said, the service staff, especially JR, are absolutely awesome. I always get good service and if I need something different, it's taken care of immediately and fairly.

Great people to deal with. Needed a headlight assy for a Mazda CX-5. I'm a mechanic but not necessarily well versed in body parts; sales rep JR answered my questions patiently.
Price was as competitive as anywhere, including online. New aftermarket part I needed was in stock- not a minor point as nobody else in the Twin Cites Metro had it in stock, at any price.
Well worth the 90 minute drive to have the part in my hand ASAP.

First time buying a part online from Pam’s, overall an excellent experience. The part was as described, arrived quickly and was well packaged. Everyone I interacted with at Pam’s was prompt and professional.
Initially, there was a very minor mistake with my order but they remedied it quickly. They first sent me an off the shelf part that was lower mileage but a slightly different part from the one I purchased and needed. Once I pointed this out, they sent a return a label and had the correct part pulled and on its way shortly after receiving my return. The two parts are almost identical so I completely understood why they sent the already pulled part. The difference is not easily distinguished unless you’ve really seen the two side by side.
How they handled the situation speaks volumes to me. I will definitely be ordering parts from Pam’s again! Great prices and excellent customer service. Thank you!Aug 20, 2024 -
Buyer beware. Parts grading is non existent. Called about a non serviceable Subaru drive shaft. Was assured they were grade A, low mileage units. Drove 2.5 hours to pick one up only to find that the u-joints were worse than the ones I was already dealing with. 5 hours and $45 fuel wasted. Never again. Will never deal with them again. I have to say the girl that helped me was pleasant. The girl at the counter could have cared less.

The service is outstanding, and the prices are always well within an average persons budget, but the only thing that concerns me is the quality of parts that they have accepted from other vendors and passed on. Just recently, I had gotten a starter that they had gotten from an outside vendor because it was quicker than having them pull one and it was, but the corrosion on the connections was a lot. So much so that the screw holding on one of the electrical connections snapped when I went to loosen it after taking a wire brush to clean it up. Had I thoroughly inspected it while I was there, instead of just grabbing it and leaving I probably wouldn't have accepted it. ***I feel like I need to add this to this review because it is very noteworthy and speaks volumes of Pam's Auto and the character of the employees. I was contacted by the original contact person, Finn, who initially helped about two weeks after this transaction. He asked how things went with getting the starter, so I told him the hole debacle and he said he was going to see if he could do anything for me to make things right. Now mind you, I never once in our conversation asked for any kind of reimbursement of any sorts. Well, a couple of hrs went by, and he called me back and to my surprise he said that he was going to refund the total amount of starter. I thanked him immensely and told him he didn't need to do that, but he insisted. So in the end I was absolutely blown away and impressed with the fallow up and by doing the customer right! Absolutely brilliant!!!

Spectacular Service! I found a part I needed on the website and called to inquire about the cost. The person who answered my call was very knowledgeable, helpful, and listed to my needs. Having a good experience on first contact with a new company goes very far in winning over a new customer.
I live a couple hours away from the location and they quoted me a very fair price for shipping. I had the part in my hands about 48hrs after my initial call.
