PAM's Auto JunkYard in St. Cloud (MN)

The service is outstanding, and the prices are always well within an average persons budget, but the only thing that concerns me is the quality of parts that they have accepted from other vendors and passed on. Just recently, I had gotten a starter that they had gotten from an outside vendor because it was quicker than having them pull one and it was, but the corrosion on the connections was a lot. So much so that the screw holding on one of the electrical connections snapped when I went to loosen it after taking a wire brush to clean it up. Had I thoroughly inspected it while I was there, instead of just grabbing it and leaving I probably wouldn't have accepted it. ***I feel like I need to add this to this review because it is very noteworthy and speaks volumes of Pam's Auto and the character of the employees. I was contacted by the original contact person, Finn, who initially helped about two weeks after this transaction. He asked how things went with getting the starter, so I told him the hole debacle and he said he was going to see if he could do anything for me to make things right. Now mind you, I never once in our conversation asked for any kind of reimbursement of any sorts. Well, a couple of hrs went by, and he called me back and to my surprise he said that he was going to refund the total amount of starter. I thanked him immensely and told him he didn't need to do that, but he insisted. So in the end I was absolutely blown away and impressed with the fallow up and by doing the customer right! Absolutely brilliant!!!

Buyer beware. Parts grading is non existent. Called about a non serviceable Subaru drive shaft. Was assured they were grade A, low mileage units. Drove 2.5 hours to pick one up only to find that the u-joints were worse than the ones I was already dealing with. 5 hours and $45 fuel wasted. Never again. Will never deal with them again. I have to say the girl that helped me was pleasant. The girl at the counter could have cared less.

I was recommended to them by my local salvage yard in NYC. I buy used parts regularly as I am a repair shop. I was so pleased by their professionalism, as well as the pricing. I ended up buying the parts and the packing was terrific. I couldnt be happier. Will be using them again, all the way from NYC.

JR was our customer service rep. I have an old Ford F250 that we could NOT find a PCM for. JR found one and had it shipped out within a couple of days. The part worked perfectly and our 1995 Ford truck is back on the road. I highly recommend them.

This is less a review for Pam's and more-so a review for Randy in parts. I order a lot of parts from plenty of places, and plenty of people are just jerks and or miserable. Randy is awesome. One of the easiest transactions I've ever had. Randy is probably a guy that can bench press a car. Be like Randy. Thanks!

Spectacular Service! I found a part I needed on the website and called to inquire about the cost. The person who answered my call was very knowledgeable, helpful, and listed to my needs. Having a good experience on first contact with a new company goes very far in winning over a new customer. I live a couple hours away from the location and they quoted me a very fair price for shipping. I had the part in my hands about 48hrs after my initial call. I've never received such good service from a salvage yard before. I will definitely consider PAM's Auto as my primary choice for parts going forward.

Be very cautious purchasing any parts from pams auto they will misrepresent the parts and are unwilling to compensate you for any expenses incurred by their deceptive practices. Your response is in accurate i called while i was there. It took 2 hrs for your sales manager to call me back. And to say the part was in any way as described is a lie!! I spoke in detail with your sales guy Calvin about the condition of the door before i left Utah. you guys where not truthful about the quality or condition of the part missing several parts damaged look at the pictures you had on line vs the door as is now not at all the same. . Wasting a lot of my time and fuel.. Over 80% of my reviews are 5 star. why are your hands tied to make the situation right i thought Pam's was family owned. Why can you not talk to the owner and fix the situation???
