*The excuses given are just gross. Did they seriously say their deception was the buyer’s fault? Yes a dealership would show photos of the frame if it was an issue for the last party that won the vehicle. They pretty much admitted they knew how bad the frame was yet still fraudulently auctioned off the vehicle. Thanks for at least admitting you knew how bad the frame was yet deliberately hid that from bidders. Also, other reviews seem quite off with how desperate they are to blame other customers for not being “stupid.” I guess what they mean is only stupid people would actually believe Mike’s Auto is an honest dealership.
They sell vehicles "As Is" in auctions but fraudulently do not show the buyers the real reasons why the vehicles were donated. My terminally ill aunt bought a car from them that had massive structural issues they deliberately did not show in the auction photos. The frame is so bad our local tire shop refused to service the vehicle after seeing how bad the frame had rusted underneath the car. Whatever excuse Mike's Auto gives, it does not support their claim that they have no idea what they're selling. Seems the truth is that they do inspect the vehicles and know exactly what is wrong with them which is why they auction them off "As Is." Definitely a reason they deliberately left out images of the frame of the vehicle and other damage like tape covering an engine light. Odd how this place always seems to have so many excuses like they couldn't see tape over the dash or massively rusted through frames. You sell cars all day. Clearly, you're not that clueless. Also, the vehicle had been in auction previously but the buyer backed out. There was no way the buyer would have backed out without giving a reason, which must have been that the frame was way too rusted through. Yet more proof that Mike's Auto knows exactly what is wrong with the vehicles before they even sell them. No business would sell donated vehicles without looking them over and knowing exactly what the issues were. Their excuses just don't add up.
Bought a 95’ Chevy 5.7L truck. Guys are honest and help out if you need it :) all the descriptions of vehicles are exactly what they show. If something is wrong with the vehicle they will fix it so you can be on your way! Thank you 🙏🏼
Update was a mixup with dmv not mikes thanks to mike auto sales for getting things corrected bought 2 cars from just video but would recommend to view cars before purchasing but I been in the game for 30 years now so I could just look at vehicle to know what im getting plus delivery fees was awesome can't get that deal no where else in America thanks mikes
Bought a 2002 Buick century from them for 2000 bucks they put tape over the service engine light that is auto fraud and it has transmission issues and oil coming out of the intake I got to put about 1500 in the car just to have a decent car otherwise I bought a piece of junk basically what they ripped me off
After a lot of car shopping, we ended up at Mikes. Had never been there before and were there to look at a different vehicle than the one we purchased. They gave us a great deal on an awesome car. Thanks for treating us fairly and for the Ford Fusion.
Every couple months I pick up a nice cheap car off of mikes auction. I always go inspect vehicles prior to bidding so I know exactly what I’m buying and it always pays off for me! Great place and I 100% recommend!
I have purchased numerous vehicles from this company. Including when they were at the Glenwood site. Do not get them confused with the previous owner of the current location. Every vehicle I purchased lived up to expectations and then some. The service was friendly and helpful. I drive out of my way to purchase from this company because they provide excellent service and reasonable prices.
I have gotten a couple of beaters with heaters from this company, each time they were honest, straight forward, and each time I got the miles out of the vehicle I paid for and then some. They do sell their vehicles from auction so caveat emptor, do your research, ask questions, don't be dumb.
I got a 2002 Ford Explorer from Mike’s Auto earlier this year and the whole experience was smooth and hassle free. After looking at multiple vehicles on his K-Bid page, I came in on their scheduled inspection day with a few that I wanted to look over. The staff was courteous and very helpful, doing the best of their ability to answer questions I had. And after looking a few over and test driving a couple I decided to bid on the Explorer. And I won. I came back on their scheduled pickup day to pay and Mike was there to help with all the paperwork. He was very hospitable and thoroughly explained the paperwork and answered every question I had for him about it all. Afterwards I was given the keys and I drove away in my new vehicle. From start to finish the whole process was straightforward and simple. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for a new vehicle, I would highly recommend Mike’s Auto Sales in Lowry, MN.
