I was driving back to California after a road trip in the New England area, unfortunately, I experienced a flat tire.in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Called for Geico road side assitance and I was told there is no towing truck available on Sunday, Let me find it my self. I have to say, at the Rest Area I-90 WB Blue Earth, it was very hot and there were a lot of mosquitoes. My wife and I, a 2-year-old son, and a 3-month-old daughter. Finally, after waiting for two hours, I called the 911. Thank you very much to the 911 operator who helped me find a towing service. Besides you, no other towing company is available to tow my car on Sunday. Thank you so much for Richard's Auto Repair & Towing You are my life saver! Five stars Thank you for Minnesota Nice too!

Awesome! Had a flat on I-90. They got there fast, super nice guy, towed the car to Les Schwab and took my wife to Walgreens and back to get a prescription before they closed.

Very fast response when our tire blew on on camper. Was very professional and efficient. Would 100% recommend.

Kevin was amazing. We got a flat while traveling on I-90 back in June. Called AAA. Kevin responded quickly. Helped us put a spare on and lead us to the shop to patch the tire despite it being late. Was very kind and refused letting us tip him. We really appreciated him.

Stopped in at 4:30 on July 3rd with a hole in my tire. Not only did the fix the hole, they got me on my way by 5 pm with a smile on their face

I was driving home from the cities with my two year old in the back seat, when all of a sudden on highway 60, I lost an entire wheel, lost control, and wound up on the shoulder with a hope and a prayer. Richard’s made one of the scariest experiences of my life so much easier and safer. The flatbed showed up quicker than any type of roadside assistance could ever hope to, and I was treated so kindly. 10/10, thank you guys!

Went into Richard's asking for an estimate to replace the bearings in my rear axle. Called me a day later to schedule an appointment because the Mechanic wanted to look at it, I said sure no problem. When I went to pick it up after the appointment the front desk guy said "yep its your rear axle and the mechanic doesn't want to work on it" I asked for details and he had none then charged me $50 for bringing it in. Why should I be charged when I told them what was wrong with it in the first place and just wanted an estimate!? I would not recommend this place.

Great service. Got me in early, fixed a light I didn't know was out, and caught that I was low on transmission fluid. 10/10

Everyone is nice except for the old woman. Literally heard her talking about giving a lady on the phone a high price because she wanted 2 tires instead of all 4. I suggest not dealing with her if you have a choice. Went to discount tire and got same tires they quoted me on $250 cheaper.

Did a good job on changing the oil and filter, suspect that the front end or back end wasn't greased but I should have specified. Other than that, they surprisingly shampooed the carpet at no extra charge. $60 for a oil change I can live with. Would be willing to pay extra for grease job as well some of those part's are regressable . But I suppose there used to the factory sealed ones

Shout out to this amazing small town business! My mom and dad are in there 80's and Richards have gone out of their way many times to help them out when they can. Today my dad dropped off their car for some work and they drove him home at no extra cost. Unbeknown to my father, Richards returned his repaired car to his home driveway while he was napping. This type of service is un-heard of in Virginia where I now live. For what its worth, thank you Richards for going above and beyond.

We were traveling on I 90 and had a tire blowout on our 5th wheel. I called Richard's and they sent Cameron out to change the tire. He provided Excellent customer service and was very fast at getting us back on the road.Thank you so much for rescuing us.

Richard came out to our camper blow out in interstate 90! He was prompt, efficient, and had us back on the road in no time to! Did I mention how nice he was! Sunday evening and he wasn’t even the least bit in a hurry to get done. Even took the time to check the air and other tires for me! Highly recommend

I stopped by Richard's with the need for an emergency alignment on my car. I was halfway through a 6 hour trip and had been told by 5 other garages that getting an alignment on the same day was impossible. Not only did Richard's help me out, they got me in right away and wouldn't accept any kind of tip for their help. I truly wish I could send more work their way. They are what an auto garage is supposed to be.

I had a poor connection going to my fuel pump so I had it towed in from 1 mile away, they wouldn't give me a quote on the tow, that ended up as $65. It got to the shop and I wanted to make sure the job got done correctly and in a timely manner so I showed Mason exactly where the problem was and I described how I patched it temporarily. What I have to say is for "professionals" they sure didn't know how to correctly complete this job and they actually ended with messing the wire harness up and removing one of the ground wires and one of the signal wires needed to complete the circuit. I have proof of this and they refuse to believe in the possibility that they messed up. What is very obvious to me is that they intentionally wrecked the wiring to the fuel pump so they could tell me I need a whole new one installed, charge me for that, and also another couple hours of incompetent labor @ $130/hour. Many things went south with my 1st experience at Richard's Towing and Auto Destruction of Fairmont and I guarantee anytime I hear this business mentioned or suggested as a good shop to use I will bring up exactly this experience in hope that another individual doesnt get screwed over. The grand total for messing my stuff up and towing it from 1 mile away was $185.

They quoted me on the price... That ended up being triple from the quote.... I won't use them again. It's not a good feeling they quote one price then cause I'm a woman they went ahead and tripled the cost. I feel they're rip offs. Please go there if you want to get ripped off. Very very unprofessional.. So anyone who uses there services be prepared to over pay......

Richards has always been reliable and honest. I would strongly recommend them to anyone with no hesitation. Been taking our vehicles here for over 15 years. And if they can't fix it (which has only happened one time due to major body work needed) they will help you get in contact with someone who can help you! Great place, friendly, always willing to help!

Awhile ago I had to have my Jeep towed to Fairmont to get a new key for it. Richard showed up and helped me push my Jeep out of my garage and get it lined up with his truck. He was very friendly, and I also learned that he knew my family, because he is my mom's cousin. I would definitely recommend Richard to anyone who is in need of help.

They got our vehicle done before scheduled appointment. I called and it was done. They cleaned up the inside as well. Great customer service and reasonable realistic prices and advice. Highly recommended.

A couple days ago my tire had completely come off on I-90 about 10 miles outside of Fairmont. Of course this happened about 15 minutes after 5 o'clock. My roadside assistance was going to take about an hour to send someone, so the trooper recommended this company. They were there within 20-30 minutes and towed my car to their shop. The driver knew that someone was going to be coming from Pipestone, MN (a 2 hour drive) with a trailer and he offered to let me stay at the shop while I wait, which I declined since I did not want to take up this guy's entire night. He was nice enough to drop me off somewhere I could wait for that time. The man was also nice enough to put my car in an easy spot to load onto a trailer, and also offered to come back and help with loading and/or fixing the tire. I experienced all around great service, and they made a very stressful time a lot less stressful.

The other day I called to get an estimate on brake pads. For a lack of a better term this guys is kind of a huge douche canoe. He was extremely rude over the phone and you could tell he was annoyed/bothered by me calling and asking this question. He treated me like a total idiot for thinking I could get brake pad estimates over the phone because he didn’t know how my rotors looked (as if he couldn’t just tell me how much it would be if my rotors and brakes needed changed compared to just the brake pads). It’s very strange he had such an attitude about this considering every other shop I called gladly gave me the estimates I needed, PMS I guess ?‍♀️

My son was in a horrible car wreck on Christmas night and when the tow truck driver came to pick the car up, he was beyond rude and very inconsiderate! Complaining his Christmas dinner was getting cold because he had to come out and do his damn job. We had the car keys in our pocket and the driver asked us, "where are the damn keys?" and "it's not like anyone is going to steal the damn car." I had all I could do to keep from hitting him. While my son was injured in the wreck, the driver was just a pure A-HOLE. And to tow the car 15 miles it cost us $300!!! I would never refer this company to anyone!!!

My mother's car would not start and call Richard's. $200.00 later tow and new battery did not start next day. $300.00 more and it was an electrical problem. But the battery was 6 years old so it had to be bad. You can check batteries to see if the are good. Mine is 10 years old and still fine. Rip off of an 80 year old lady.

Went to Sturgis ,SD this August.I'm from Conn.On the way back one of the brake lines broke on my truck.I was on Int. 90.I called AAA and they sent out Richard's Auto.He towed my truck and trailer back to his garage.My truck was repaired and plus he did a oil change which i requested and was back on the road in less than 2 hrs.I have nothing but praise for Richard and his crew.Plus the bill was very fair. I highly recommend this garage.THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
