Dustin has been nothing but fair and honest with me. I have brought him several vehicles to work on he has always done a great job and fixed them. He usually says if this was mine here is what I would do and I trust him. Highly recommend Dresbach Auto to anyone.
My check engine light came on and he ran a diagnostic to see what codes my car was throwing. One of my cylinders is misfiring. He said it's likely faulty spark plugs or coil packs. Then told me parts would run me about $300. I drive a Toyota Corolla. That quote is insane and he's clearly trying to take advantage of the fact that I'm a woman. I would NEVER spend that when spark plugs and coils for my 4 cylinder car (for all 4 of them, mind you) won't be anymore than $100. It's disgusting to me when mechanics try to get one over on people, especially women who are less likely to know the basics of their vehicle. Do your own research ladies and don't trust this one.
I have been coming to Dresbach Auto for the last 3 years and I have always been very happy with his work. He is a super nice man and is very knowledgeable about vehicles. I have had him work on several different things on my vehicles and he gets the job done right the first time. If it something he can't do, he'll tell you that. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. Although I didn’t have my car serviced at this particular shop, my used car dealership, where I initially purchased my vehicle, did. Despite not being their direct customer, I reached out a couple of times to inquire about the work done on my car. Surprisingly, the mechanic was incredibly accommodating and patiently addressed all my concerns. As a fellow flat-rate mechanic, I understand the value of every moment in our profession, yet the owner of the shop graciously took the time to personally assist me over the phone, providing thorough explanations and answers. His kindness and professionalism ensured I had all the necessary information to communicate effectively with my dealership regarding my car.
I was told he did good work. When my van broke down and then broke down again and had to be fixed by someone else because of the work he did, he did not want to own up to his mistake that could have ended much worse then it did for my son and I. He placed blame, was rude and cost me 3 times what it should have if the initial work was done correctly. I do not recommend dresbach auto for anything other than a simple oil change or tire rotation. Make sure to double check your lugnuts.
Dresbach auto pays attention to the details and fixes your car right. They won't try to sell you parts you don't need or fix things that don't need it. If they see a maintenance issue they will explain it and give a ballpark estimate so you can make a good decision on how to proceed. They are honest and fair with parts and labor costs. I have taken a few family cars there and also have some body work they are doing soon! Stop by and meet the guys. Garrick, Tom, and Tim treat you like family and care for your car like it's their own. I could send my mom there for a repair by herself and know I can trust Dresbach Auto to keep her car safe on the road.
Efficient shop. Prompt service. I came in towards the end of the day and planned to make an appointment for next week, but Tom said, how 'bout now? I got a courtesy ride home, a phone call with quote, then Tom hustled to complete a front brake job on my van. He picked me up in the van, so I knew the brakes worked, we tallied up and I am back to safe driving and stopping.
