I usually don’t write reviews, but these guys are consistently so amazing and do great work each time. I would highly recommend coming here. Not only are they honest and upfront, they’re incredibly kind. Prices are very reasonable.

So my wife went to autozone for a dash light. They told her it was the catylitic converter and recommended she go to this place. Saying they were friendly and good to deal with. So she went right over there.
It was the rudest experience she has ever had at a shop. Never even had a chance to talk about her issue with the Navigator. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!!! Spend your money somewhere else!!!! Again try to stay local and end up again with the rudest experience ever.
Stopped in because my sisters vehicle tire had a nail in it. They were very busy but Anthony took the time to inspect the tire and was able to remove the nail and fortunately it hadn’t penetrated the tire to require repair. Anthony was very personable and there was no charger for his time. I was recommended to Fixt Rite by a long time friend and their many years of going there. I would definitely try them for future repairs due to this.
Honest, competent, kind. We have relied on them for ten years to keep our three old cars running. We are so thankful for them. We have brought two Facebook marketplace used cars to them for an assessment before we bought them. One time we went through with the sale and another time we decided not to buy it because it needed too many repairs and the purchase price was too high. Often they are booked this week but you can get an appointment for next week. Often you drop off the car between 7-9 am and then pick it up between 5 and 5:30. They have a couple of old loaner cars that they can let you borrow for the day if you request that and are a trusted customer. They earnestly try to solve the problem and save you money. They have also helped us decide when a car was no longer worth fixing. Pete retired but Dan is still there and Anthony, Ben, and Bill have the same good values. They have helped keep our family going. We are thankful for them.

This time I had a busy day and told them my schedule (I had a ~2 hour window) and they said no problem. They had a bay open ready to go for me when I pulled in and made sure I got back to my day on time. I appreciate that a lot!
They also go above and beyond on the little things - they refilled my windshield wiper fluid and adjusted my brake's dust shield for free just because they saw it could be done.
Another great service is their free courtesy vehicles.
I drive here all the way from St Paul and it's worth it!

This place is reasonably priced, customer focused and honest at a rare level in today's automotive repair cash-grab culture. Don't hesitate to work with them on anything that your vehicle may need!
As a former teacher, I would give Fixt Rite an A+! They fixed my car in a timely manner. They explained what they found and what it would take to fix it. Within a few days I had my car back and ready to drive safely. They are accurate, look at the problem in depth and determine the best route to take. Whenever I need something fixed, this is where I take my car. Generally, you make an appointment and drop your car off in the morning. Every time they have finished all the work by the end of the day. Most importantly, they don’t try to get me to fix something that isn’t needed. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and dependable.
What a great place. I had a 2002 Explorer the shift came right off the steering wheel went to Fixt Rite. Not only a great group of guys wonderful mechanics, superior customer service, and a good home feeling.
We’ve been going to Fixt Rite for many years and have always had nothing less than stellar, honest, reliable service. Dan is such a gentleman, explains everything, and only ever tells you what you need. There’s never any upselling. They’ll even let you know if there’s a repair that can wait. When we’ve made the mistake of going anywhere else we’ve always regretted it and come right back to Fixt Rite. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Even though they were obviously busy, they got my car diagnosed in the same day. Then they found the needed oil cooler at a dealer and installed it next day. They were honest, took care of my car, and treated me with great respect.
I originally went in for an AC issue in my car. When I dropped my car off, I asked if they had time to check my brakes. They were able to squeeze that in as well! I felt that they were honest with me & didn’t pile more problems on to my car like most places do. I will definitely go back for future maintenance/repairs. Fixt Rite not only saved me money, but fixed what was necessary in my car.
Life Savers. I was coming off of 35W trying to merge onto Hwy 62 when my low tire pressure warning came on and my tire was just about flat. I went straight to get off of the freeway and noticed Fixt Rite on the corner. I drove into their lot and it was the end of the day and very hot. They were obviously not expecting me but understood my emergency. After juggling a few things around they brought my vehicle to the back and patched my tire. I could not be more appreciative for the customer service and geniune concern for a person in trouble. I wish I lived closer to their location so I could use them more. I can't thank you enough.
Had a stripped bolt trying to change my rear license plate, walked in randomly and they were able to remove the bolt, put on my plates, and have me back on the road the same day! Very friendly staff! Will definitely return if I need any other services for my car!
I was able to show up unannounced last Friday with my car that was having an issue. They were able to take a look and repair it the same day! Very friendly and very fast, definitely would take my cars here from now on.
They also replaced my catalytic converter on my 2006 Toyota Highlander and installed a Cat Clamp on it to prevent theft. Haven’t had any issues since!!
I had a really good experience here. My car never really has problems (knock on wood), but I just needed some standard maintenance done. The team over at Fixt Rite were very friendly; they replaced my brakes, rotated my tires, and did an oil change in just a few hours. I was happy with the quick turnaround.
These guys are the best. They diagnosed a check engine light as a faulty thermostat and got that fixed. They also did a full service on all four wheel drive components and a transmission service. The total bill was less than the dealer quoted me for just the transmission service. Outstanding.

After finding this business because of its good Google reviews and close location to my office, I had a great experience with them! I dropped off my flat tire in the morning as they said they could replace it *potentially* the same day. I had no expectations but appreciated the thought. A few hours later they called to let me know my tire had been repaired and I could stop by for them to mount it again. Amazing! They were professional, quick, and I’d recommend them to anyone. Happy to support this small local business.

Fixt Rite is my neighborhood auto repair shop and it is the best! They’re great mechanics, their pricing is affordable, and they provide friendly, professional and prompt service. I am so grateful to have a trustworthy repair shop nearby. I highly recommend Fixt Rite!
My family and I have been going yo Fixt Rite for decades. The guys here have always treated us fairly and given us real expectations on repairs and if they are worth it. They work quickly to.get you back on the road without charging an arm or a leg. They also have free loaners available which is a great perk. I trust them with all my vehicles and recommend them to anyone that is looking for repairs. You can tell fron their always packed lot how many people trust their car needs to Fixt Rite.
I have had them service my 2002 Volvo since 2009 for regular maintenance and some unexpected problems. They have always done good honest work in a timely manner. They also do a great job of explaining what needs to be fixed (if anything) and why, and are very upfront about what to expect cost wise. They have a loaner car that can be used if needed as well.
We have taken our vehicles to Dan and Pete at FixtRite for more than 15 years, even when we didn't live nearby. Quality work, honest service, and they have a few loaners, too. They'll give you options when possible, and make good recommendations without any pressure to "upgrade".
