I came in yesterday 02/15/26 to purchase a battery. I was assisted by a fantastic lady and offered to use store tool. I was disappointed when a guy with an attitude just told me to make sure I return the tool. He went on to explain how "people" don't return after using their tools. At least I came in to purchase the battery not just walk in and asked for the tool. I felt like I was disrespected for spending my own money.

Manager wouldn't give me a core charge without receipt after I tried to explain to him I lost it. Usually they are able to do it without receipt and use my number. Worse customer service not going back.

I went in today and asked a worker where I could get a funnel to re-up my windshield wiper fluid, and he said I likely wouldn't need one. Told him I bought windshield wiper fluid last week but have never done this before and he offered to come out to my car and do it for me. He was super helpful and friendly, and I wasn't expecting him to do that at all. Thanks Aaron!

I called earlier that day for some adhesive glue to make my rearview mirror stick onto the inside of the windshield. A young lady named Mya answered the phone, And she told me she would go see if they had it in stock. She told me they had it in stock and I told her I would stop by and get it. When I walked in, she actually had it up at the front counter, waiting for me. She was super pleasant and a great customer service skills. I felt like a valued customer. I live in the neighborhood and there are many options as far as auto parts places to go., She made it so I will go nowhere else, but to AutoZone! Thanks Mya!

Very unprofessional behavior from staff who clearly had no intention of doing their job.
I went there in the afternoon to have my car battery tested. One of the employees couldn’t properly place the device on the battery and asked a coworker for help. The second person, while the device was showing an error, insisted that the problem was definitely the battery and that it needed to be replaced. But surprisingly, he then said it was cold outside and they didn’t have enough time, even though they still had three hours left before closing.
I left and went somewhere else, and at the new place it became clear that the battery was completely fine!
Whatever issues you have, don’t go here. Nobody seems interested in working or helping you.Nov 23, 2025 -
I arrived not having any idea what I needed, just walked in holding a burnt out bulb for my headlights, asked the staff person if I can get new ones. He found them right away, and came out to install the new bulb . Only took a couple minutes in the store and switching it out didn’t take very long either. Alejandro was very helpful. Thank you!

Good auto store with friendly staff. They do not have a diagnostic machine as I was told that the last 2 machines they have had had been stolen from them. Also there’s usually pretty grimy people hanging near or around the store but they don’t bother you too much. It’s Lake Street

I came to buy an oil filter remover tool and brought my sample with me. To my surprise, they didn't have almost any selection - there was one enormous cup, that's all. Empty shelve otherwise. But friendly associates, one extra star for that.

I’ve been trying to find a specific battery. I went to 3 locations that had it in stock, and all batteries tested bad. Finally, this location had one in stock that tested bad again. Tabetha was so kind and patient. She called other stores in the metro and asked them to test their batteries so I wouldn’t waste a trip. Great customer service, which is rare these days. I think the new manager name is Jamie. I came to the site with issues regard changing my plate and needing assistance with the frame and other tasks. The guy was really awesome and helpful. He took the time to address all my concerns and was extremely welcome. I would definitely recommending going to this site as the staff are well trained and knowledgeable. Had great service thanks to Cory and MyaNayeli. They helped me get the things that I needed to get some work done. I've never used the free tool loan program before but they explained how it worked. I borrowed a radiator cap pressure tester to check my coolant system for leaks. Normally it's $230 bucks but I only needed it for like 5 minutes! I checked Napa and they didn't have one for loan. Not only it was AutoZone open later, but they had one that I could borrow for free. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I went in to purchase two wiper blades. I found my sizes and saw there was an “earn $15 reward when purchasing *specific rainx wiper* blade”. I picked those two that were listed.
When I went to check out and had to wait for the associate as they were on their phone, not paying attention. When he noticed me I went up.
I asked the associate how the $15 reward works with these wipers. He said, “I don’t know.” I asked what he meant. He said he didn’t know. I explained there was a tag that says “earn $15 reward on specific wipers, how does it work?” He again said, “I don’t know.”
I asked if there was someone we could ask and he pointed to the manager. I asked if I had to ask the manager or could he? He said, “I don’t know man, I just work here”.
I asked for clarification that I had to go get the manager for a simple question and he wouldn’t being doing that? “I don’t know man.”
I tried to show him the tag and he refused to follow me.
The manager came over, said “it says it right there on the tag”.
I put the wipers back and left.
I usually have mediocre service at this AutoZone as I come in here fairly often. But it’s whatever. However, this was beyond ridiculous. I’ll be buying online from RockAuto or driving out of my way to OReilly now instead of walking two blocks to this store.

Jose helped me replace my dead car battery tonight in the bitter cold without complaint! It was very difficult on my old Land Rover and I was very distressed. He put me at ease and sold me the best product at a decent price. Highly recommend, Thank you Jose!

I've come back to exchange the bulb for the third time and the young man basically stated that the bulb that was sold was correct yet what I showed him I needed was different. Granted the customer isn't always right. Yet when I showed him what I needed, he proceeded to make me to be wrong. Yet I had proof that I was correct. It's amazing how employees don't want to admit that they're wrong once in a while. This is poor customer service. I know that I won't be back. It's tough when money walks out of the door.

Tabatha was amazing! I called in to verify an alternator was in stock, she physically checked and held it until I arrived. The other employee was very helpful, checked me out and answered some core return questions. All around great experience.

Went in to inquire about what I needed to change out the tire/valve/etc on my cousin's van. There was a long line, no big deal. We waited patiently, as there were 2 staff members, a youngish looking kid and a 30ish man with glasses, probably 5'7"-5'8", helping people and we knew they were busy. Our turn came and I started telling the younger man about what I was looking for. The other staff suddenly interrupted and started yelling and telling me about what he thought I needed. He was yelling so loudly that everyone became quiet. I asked him if I should come over and simply speak with him, even though he had a customer with him. He didn't say yes, but continued to yell angrily about what he thought I needed. The young man helping me remained calm and continued to try and help me. The older staff who didn't know what I needed said "well, we don't even sell tires". To which I replied "I already have the tire" and finally he stopped yelling at me from the other counter. He halted his own transaction to interrupt mine and yell angrily at me. It was abrupt and disrespectful and %100 inappropriate. He needs some continuing education on customer service, professional behavior, and kindness. That is not how you speak to another human, especially if you're trying to sell them something. To halt the entire stores function, be yelling loud enough that everyone stops dead in their tracks, and to be wholly disrespectful like that is insane. I hope that he gets the proper training he needs to work with and around people or he will drive away all of your customers. Shame on him and if nothing is done to train him, shame on this store. I visited on 9/14/23 in the late afternoon.

I had such a good experience here today! Christian helped me find the wiper blades I needed, and told me the benefits of the more expensive ones without trying to pressure me into something more than what was in my budget.
Also, when I asked how I would go about replacing the bulbs in my headlights, he actually came out (while it was still raining a bit!) and taught me how to take the bulbs out and install the new ones myself. I didn't even buy new headlights yet, but Christian stayed out in the drizzle for like 10 minutes with me until I felt comfortable doing it on my own.
He wasn't the slightest bit judgemental and didn't talk down at me while teaching me basic car maintenance like this. He was knowledgeable and respectful. He stopped at each step and repeated when I asked to see something again, and really just wanted to make sure I would be able to do it on my own.
I'm so grateful for the help and instruction, and will definitely be going back there when I do get the new bulbs in a few weeks.
