I was really happy with the help Twin Cities Towing provided. I was rear ended and my car was in bad shape. In the stress of trying to organize everything after a collision, I wasn't thinking as clearly as I should have been for how to proceed with the car. Dain was unbelievably helpful in suggesting possible solutions and alternatives to what I was suggesting while not being too pushy. I would certainly recommend their help if need a tow!
Sky high rates, I feel $50 a day for "storage" is excessive, had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up when they were supposed to be open. I was not impressed, they wasted my time.
I’ve used this shop for mannny things over the years. My local go to. Highly recommend. This time I needed a tow. Couldn’t think of anyone better to call! Thanks for the great help!

The initial call was very professional and easy to schedule a tow service. The towing driver arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. I would go to them again for assistance and would recommend them to my family and friends.
UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT, AND POSSIBLY A SCAM.
Our experience was absolutely unacceptable, all because of an employee named JOSH, who has no business handling customer transactions.
JOSH refused to accept our correct and proper documents, falsely claiming that my name (CO-OWNER) needed to be on the dealer’s license—something that is completely untrue. When we pointed this out, JOSH refused to verify the information with his supervisor and instead chose to argue, make up rules, and block the process rather than ensuring a smooth transaction.
We insisted that he call his supervisor, which he only did after several minutes of back-and-forth. The supervisor immediately confirmed the exact information we had been providing all along. Had we not been persistent and knowledgeable, JOSH WOULD HAVE TURNED US AWAY AND FORCED US TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $50 FEE just to return later with the same documents that were already correct!
This is beyond incompetence—it feels like JOSH was trying to scam us by making up obstacles to retain our vehicle longer AND intentionally pushing unnecessary fees onto customers. This type of behavior should be illegal. How many others have fallen for this just because they weren’t as savvy or didn’t push back?
Customers shouldn’t have to fight against false information and refusal of service just to retrieve their own property.
JOSH is clearly unfit for his job, and if his supervisors care at all, they need to take action immediately.
The driver who towed my vehicle and myself back to the shop after I was sandwiched on March 28th was amazing. I ended up having a severe concussion and my coffee split all over myself and bag so I was a smelly confused mess but I remember he was respectful and helpful. Also helped me get my car doors open for the retrieval of my stuff.
Got my big rig stuck at a reciever that wasn't taken care of with the ice and snow. Called at 8am after trying to get myself out. They dispatched someone to me. Arrived about 920am. Had me out and even made sure I got in the dock good. Brandon was super nice and super helpful. Definitely recommend anyone with a big rig who needs help to give this place your business. Charged me less than anyone else in the area would. Thanks again Brandon.
What a joke of a place. Sent them my registration and insurance declaration page. Was told they could release my car to my insurance company to have it towed to the body shop. Then was told they didn't have my registration. Told them it was sent to the same email my insurance declaration page was sent to. Gal on the phone got an attitude and said "well we can talk about why we don't have it or you can listen to me tell you what you need to do." My response..."no I don't need to listen to you or your attitude......click... I hope I NEVER have to deal with this place again. Rude disrespectful people who "lose" documents then try to make you feel like you messed up when it was them that messed up.
My car got towed because another car had reared ended me. I had to go to the hospital via ambulance to make sure I was not injured anywhere else besides my back, left arm and the bruise on my left chest at that time. I didn't get out until almost 7pm. There were so many things on my mind regarding the crash and insurance and things like that that I had totally forgot about the two catheters that was in the car that I would need to do dialysis at night time. I had no more supplies and those were the ones that I had gone to pick up at my dialysis clinic before the accident. Super worried, I called the towing place to see if they would allow me to go retrieve the catheters that I literally need to save my life. And they said no! because they were closed when the site said that they are open 24 hours! I couldn't believe it that they wouldn't offer to help someone like me who is basically on life support not by choice. I work in hospitality, so I do everything I can think of when a guest needs help! They told me that they are a private business so they can decide on when they can open and close. If that was the case, wouldn't they be able to help out someone in need if they really care? However, the people who work here and own this place have no sympathy for anyone! All they care about is sucking money out of people!
I called at 10:40am for a lock out service, and was told they'd put me on a waiting list. They were busy with police calls. I called a few times since then for an ETA, and one person said another 45 minutes. Then someone else called me back and said another 3 hours. Then a third person called to say a driver was on the way. I spoke to that driver, who said he'd be at my location in 20 minutes. The driver never showed up, and someone else called to tell me the driver got dispatched to another police call. During this time, I've contacted many other places during this time and found one that made it out right away. When I called Twin Cities Transport back to cancel my request, they didn't find any record of me calling for service. Someone deleted my request or of the system. I will NEVER call this company again! Terrible customer service!!
it’s so bad i want to give you a zero. but that’s not possible. so i give you a one. this was the worst experience ever. they parked my car behind two other cars and so close to the two cars on the sides i couldn’t even get in the car. then had to wait extra long after paying $300 to get my car out so the other two cars could get towed. we were not told it was cash only over the phone. dude at the desk was very rude and barely willing to help. the worst impound lot i’ve ever experienced. chicago is better.
Better have your title handy because if you don't - this place makes $35 daily on storage fees and "there is nothing they can do until you get your title". One of our cars was stolen from our used car lot. Once recovered - it was towed there by Roseville PD. It was purchased from the auction and we didn't get the title two weeks after(luckily). In the end - $642.91 paid in CASH only. Great business model guys!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Dispatch was friendly and understanding - up front with the price. Dan was the tow truck operator - patient, friendly, helpful. Would recommend this company and would definitely use them again when I'm not stuck in a snow bank. Thank you!
Firstly, I am rating this place 0/10.
I called for a tow & after I gave my card information they said someone would be on their way from Blaine . about 11 miles from where we were so roughly 25 minutes at most.
ONE HOUR LATER, I figured maybe they were finishing up a call and it was taking a while so I called to confirm that the vehicle was on its way(maybe the truck was breaking down or having issues) they then immediately put me on hold & after 5 mins I ask what's the deal & they tell me that they cancelled the truck & had called me.
Which if this wasn't enough they make up an excuse, because not only did they not leave you without a message but THEY DO NOT CALL YOU.
If you want to be left out in the cold give these guys a call, I know I wont.
No wonder they are at the lowest rating of 2.5, hopefully this will bring it down enough that no one else has to get screwed over.
The worst towing company I’ve ever experienced!! First off it says 24hrs on their website but it closes at 5pm. My car slipped of the road and was undrivable so I called them to tow it to their lot but before that I specifically asked them if my brother could pick up the car for me because I had to go out of town for work a few days. They said that’s fine as long as he brings the car title it would be no problem so I said fine when my brother went to pick it up they denied it to him and they wouldn’t even speak to him kindly about it and said there’s nothing can do for you. So I had no choice but to let it sit in the lot and got charged a extra 170 because of it. They also don’t have a card machine so you can only pay by cash it’s 2018 for crying out loud. Avoid this company at all cost very unprofessional
I had excellent customer service. The guy who picked up my stalled car was fast and friendly. He had a mechanic background and helped diagnose what is wrong with my car. I probably learned more about cars in the ride to my mechanic than I had my whole life. The state trooper who met me on the side of the road told me they work with this company all the time and said they were great. Because of their relationship together, trooper dispatch was able to tell the tow truck exactly where we were.
Only downside is they do not take AAA, but we should be able to still submit our receipt for reimbursement.
