Showed up when they said they would, and easy to check in via phone on the ETA. Couldn't have been nicer pushing my dead mini cooper out of our garage so it could be hooked up for towing. And if the service isn't great enough, the photo on the rear window of a son the owners lost much too young is a great reason on its own to go with Tyson's.
I have AAA .My car wouldn't start, engine light on. Called AAA the only options I had was see if another Towing company could help. I made 15 calls to different companies. Tysons saved my day, stranded for 5 hours security guard gave me a ride home.Tysons picked it up in parking Ramp A across from Target Field took it to destination. I didnt know that a protester had been shot. That's why I couldn't get a ride. Thank you

My vehicle was towed over the weekend. I was parked in a lot without a permit, so I begrudgingly collected my vehicle and paid the fee, as it was my own risk to take. Once they showed me to my car in the impound lot, there was damage on the steering wheel due to how they cranked the seat belt around it. The worker on staff acknowledged the damage, was helpful, and advised me to call back during business hours, and they would be able to assist me. When I called, I was told to email the damage report, which I have twice, and received no response. I called again for a follow-up and was told my message would be passed along... Sure, I understand they were doing what they are contracted to do, but to do so in a careless way, and then not follow up with the damage they created is disappointing to say the least. I will update the review if rectified.
If I could send a zero I would. This company is a total scam rude and just terrible people. I called progressive to tow my car due to a mechanical issue. It was still running but I have a warranty so I thought I could get it towed and fixed Tysons went to the wrong address and towed my car to their impond lot and never notified me. My car sat there for 3 days until my mechanic called me to tell me he never received my car. They tried to charge me $800 and would not release my vehicle. When I reached out to tysons they said they took my car to there lot because that's there policy. But they never notified me and they went to the wrong address. While I was there for a entire day I witnessed treatment I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. I man with a brand new battery they wouldn't let him change his battery and they would tow it out of the lot for $75. They wouldn't let me help him a change his battery or help him push his car out of the lot. They don't tell you but they need exact change and I saw a person pay over $18 over since he didn't have change. The mom who came in short $2 wouldn't release her car. These are just bad people that should be put out of business. I hope more people reach out to shut these guys down!
Dishonest and unprofessional. I paid a “drop fee” of $100 on a car that had a parking permit. Rude, hostile, and dismissive over the phone. Total money grab. Avoid this tow company at all costs.

My car was towed from Bosk Apartment Homes around 9 AM. When I called at 10 AM, I was told it would cost $415 CASH ONLY to get my car back and that the lot was only 25 minutes away. I rushed to get cash and leave my house before 11 AM so I could make it before their so-called “closing time” of 12 PM. While I was on my way, I called them again and was suddenly told my car “hadn’t arrived yet” and that I needed to wait for a call. At 12 PM, I called again, same excuse. Then they told me to come back around 2 PM and promised they would release my car after hours due to their transportation issues. Because of this, I had to take the entire day off work. Before leaving at 1:30 PM, I called again and was explicitly told by Jackie that my car was ready and I could come get it. When I arrived around 2:15 PM, Jackie suddenly claimed they “couldn’t release cars anymore.” Completely unacceptable. At that point, I spoke with a police officer who was already on-site about the situation. He went inside to speak with the staff, asked what was going on, and looked around the lot himself, my car was not there. That is when we were told that the facility technically wasn’t closed until 4 PM, but they stopped releasing cars at noon, which was never clearly communicated to me. This directly contradicted everything I had been told over the phone. Despite this being entirely their fault, they still charged me an extra $45 overnight fee and took zero responsibility. Jackie said there was “nothing she could do.” Because of their incompetence and dishonesty, my husband missed a full day of work, and we STILL did not get our car back.
WORSE THING EVER !!! They were doing a towing service for my place, They were about to tow my car but i got down before they could and but they wouldn’t give me my car back and they were just yelling and so careless, was begging but they didn’t even care, then my car dropped from they’re carrier thing and damage the front of my car!!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service from Tyson Towing, which was assigned to me through Progressive Insurance. I was given an ETA of 35–40 minutes, yet more than two hours passed with no tow truck, no call, and no communication of any kind. I was stranded on the side of the road the entire time, waiting and repeatedly checking — and Tyson Towing never bothered to reach out. It appears that this company takes on more jobs than they can handle, leaving people stuck and helpless, rather than providing honest time estimates or customer support. Their lack of transparency, courtesy, and follow-through shows a complete disregard for customers’ safety and time. If you are considering using Tyson Towing, be prepared to wait indefinitely. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. One star only because zero stars is not an option. This company’s business model seems to be built on saying “yes” to every job and leaving people stranded instead of actually delivering service. Notifying Progressive to review this vendor.
If we could give Tyson Towing 0 stars that would be more befitting. This company has refused to refund us in full. We called them for a tow they kept saying they were coming and never showed up! We called about the refund. They lied and said they sent a partial refund. The lady at the front told us only the manager can do refunds. We waited over and hour. Finally arrived at the place we had to call the police for supporting evidence that we were being amicable to resolve the issue. The lady is simple plus we had my grandson in the cold who is less than 2 yrs old. We will be suing for damages and punitive damages as well. They caused an inconvenience and should be put out of business! Do not use this company you will be sorry! Also not returning someone else’s money because of another persons review JOHN is not legal! Thanks for hanging up in my face! Duly noted. They are a scam ripping people off. This is not the last they will be hearing from us. Making a bigger issue for yourselves and company.
Scotty was professional, nice and very helpful. Made a good recommendation for the future to help avoid another headache with my battery. I would use Tyson towing again in the future.
I will never use another tow company after being towed by Tysons! Tysons came quick with very reasonable pricing! We called Tyson’s after 2 other companies said they could not tow the car due to how hard it was to get out and they came determined to get the job and did just that!!!
I was very pleasantly surprised when I was given an original estimate of about an hour for the tow to arrive but he showed up in only 30 minutes. Upon arrival the driver got straight to work on taking photos and confirming info with me. For a first timer at calling for a tow it was intimidating to not know what to expect but he made it so easy and quick. I was out of the cold in less than 10 minutes thanks to my drivers speedy pickup. I’m very thankful for Tyson’s Towing this holiday season.

Best tow experience I ever had, and that’s all down to the truck driver Justin, who totally went the extra mile with me on a BMW that would not start. He’s a consummate professional and a nice guy to boot, definitely a credit to the tow company. Car went from point A to B for a fair price, timely service and with excellent communication. I was stuck in the middle of a very busy turn lane in morning rush hour. Tyson’s towing came very quickly and towed my car out of busy traffic for a reasonable price. Highly recommend everyone to use them.
Tow requested at 11am. After two hours, Shawn reached out staring he was 10 min away. Never showed. No call no nothing. Yet, Indicated to my insurance provider that I was not home. Did not even come to my door, as I'm sitting in my living watching and waiting. Unprofessional.
The Lady who answer the phone was great and very helpful. She got them to me fast . The driver Terrance k came fast and I was worried about my car . He took care of my car . Got back home safe . Amazing service. I would recommend them.
THE MOST INHUMANE TOWING COMPANY EVER. My car was towed on Wednesday, and when I went to pick it up Thursday right after my class and exam, I was literally twenty minutes late. Instead of showing any understanding or basic human decency, the man(a tall guy with a ponytail) working there was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking empathy. He refused to release my car and forced me to pay for another full day, adding an extra $100 to an already outrageous total of $405. As a college student trying to make ends meet, that’s almost my rent for the month and he couldn’t care less. The attitude I received was condescending, cold, and heartless. There was no attempt to explain policies respectfully or to help find a solution — just arrogance and a “too bad for you” mentality. This place clearly profits off people’s misfortune and takes advantage of technicalities to squeeze out more money. I have never felt more disrespected by a business in my life. If you care about fairness, decency, or being treated like a human being, stay far away from this company. Wish you all the worst.
Currently undergoing a lawsuit with this company they are completely awful! The action of my truck, my car and my motorcycles, and all without any sort of communication. None of the employees care and they don’t respond to any inquiries I would never let them touch and you have your vehicle cause if I was you
I was recommended Tyson’s Towing by a car dealership a couple of days ago for an unknown no start issue. The male employee who booked the tow was initially very nice and accommodating, then I received a bill nearly $400. I was told about a large “en route” fee, on top of other, still high, charges. When I asked why I wasn't informed about the total cost beforehand and for a detailed breakdown, I was told, “Because it would be taking money out of our pocket.” I had to ask for a breakdown! I was also told that I saved over $100 because I was going to one of their account dealerships, which was 29 miles from my home. I plan to sue for their unethical practices and fraudulent business methods. The man who answered the phone said, “Next time use someone closer to you,” in a condescending tone, followed by what sounded like a laugh when he hung up.
Towing companies need to be held more accountable and those of you who had a less than great experience need to speak with your legislators! I will be through the course of my lawsuit. They do this because not many people act on their unethical practices.
This company preys on people during the State Fair by towing vehicles that are legally parked near the bus stop. My car was parked in a legal spot and they still towed it. When I called, I was told the fee would be $405. We rushed to get the cash, only to arrive and be told it was suddenly $455 because it was “after 4pm.” The employee was extremely rude and dismissive when I questioned it, and claimed his boss “changed the price.” $455 to get your car back—after being wrongfully towed—is outrageous. This feels like nothing but a scam and price-gouging operation. Don’t do business with this company.
Fast and reliable service! I waited 3 hours for my insurance vendor to send a tow truck that never came. I reached out to Scottie and he told me he'd send someone right away (mind you this was in the middle of a storm at 10pm) I am so grateful this team was able to assist me with my stalled vehicle and get it dropped off at my house!
Parked in the customer parking at Popeyes and while I was inside my car was towed, no attempt to even validate that I was eating there. When the towing company was called the person on the line insisted that the manager had called to have my car towed, which the manager refuted and even tried his hardest to get my car back. By their own admission they towed the car at 6:59 when me and my friend's receipts are marked 7:00 and 7:02 respectively. Took 2 hours for these parasitic scam artists to admit fault and bring my car back.
Thankfully unlike some other reviewers here I wasn't made to pay for their mistake, but if you see a sign for Tyson's Towing on a lot better to just skip that business than to have to deal with these people.
Joe did a GREAT job hauling my precious baby, a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII. He took great care to make sure it was strapped safely & without damage. Drove smoothly, was courteous to other drivers, & avoided the No Trucks section of 35E. Thanks Joe! I hope you get that Duster rolling soon!
Great service! Called roadside assistance and had Tyson's Towing come and tow my car. It was estimated they would arrive in 45-60 minutes. They arrived in 10 minutes. Very prompt. And the person who helped was very professional and cordial. He towed it to a nearby auto shop. Luckily he knew someone there and was able to get my car looked at earlier than normal. My car was fixed and was able to pick it up all in the same day. I'm very happy with them!
If I could give this company zero or negative stars, I would. My experience was highly disappointing and felt like a deliberate scam. They wrongfully towed my vehicle from my designated parking spot, which I pay for, despite clear evidence and camera footage proving their error. When I attempted to address the situation, their staff was unprofessional, dismissive, and even hostile, refusing to engage in any meaningful resolution. Additionally, the fees they charge to retrieve vehicles are exorbitant and unreasonable (Almost $500) And what kind of business does cash only?! And the “tax’s and fee’s they add on top is crazy. This operation appears to prioritize profit over integrity and accountability. I strongly caution others against dealing with this company. And the customer service is Absolutely disgusting the lady answers with an attitude assumes everyone is trying to argue with her and absolutely does not listen and will hang up on you repeatedly. Absurd.
Great experience overall in trying circumstances. Definitely went the extra mile to make sure the right type of truck showed up (roller w dolly vs flatbed) since my vehicle could not get into neutral. Communicated the entire process. Much appreciated.
Highly recommend. The owner Scottie came to my rescue today as I got myself into a pickle on a residential road. My car was stuck on the shoulder leaning into a ditch and my tires couldn’t catch any traction in the snow to drive myself out. It was not a typical tow situation, but Scottie came up with a plan to get me out. I was nervous my car was going to slip further into the ditch but Scottie was so calm and professional, I felt confident in his approach. After a few attempts, my car was back on the road. I could not be more grateful for this company’s timeliness and experience to get my car out safely. THANK YOU!! Edit: Scottie if you read this, just know you could have gotten the car out on your first attempt. However, when I initially got stuck there I engaged my emergency brake. I had forgotten all about it and realized after you drove away. My bad.
