I went to Skip's for the first time about a month ago. They were fantastic!! I had a few things wrong with my car but am on a budget, so let them know that my priority was my front brakes. I dropped it off at 7am and they called within just a few hours to give me an estimate. They talked to me about a few different things they found wrong and told me which things I should get done immediately and which could wait. SO helpful for me!! I told them what I could afford to fix and they had it ready to go by the end of that day!! I will 100% go back soon to Skip's to get the other things taken care of. Friendly staff, courteous, super fast, and affordable! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I have been a customer of Skip's Auto for at least 5 years now. I was in yesterday because my car had several codes come on while driving a few days ago (though when I went in they weren't on anymore) and I also thought my coolant was leaking because it was low in the reservoir. They looked at my car for two hours, taking things apart to check for leaks, etc and couldn't find any specific problem to fix because the codes weren't on. They didn't charge me to look at my car even though I said I was happy to pay for their time.
This is why I continue to do business with Skip's Auto! When my codes come back on, I'll be back.

They fit my car in next day when I had 3 warning lights come on. It wasn't anything major and they didn't even charge me for what they did do to amend the issue. Also they have the nicest staff I've ever encountered.
Skips Auto Repair was where my parents took their cars when I was growing up. The name is synonymous with quality service for a fair price to me. Price gouging or having my lack of knowledge about cars taken advantage of have never been a concern of mine. On the rare occasion when my repair wasn't an immediate success their team went above and beyond making it right as quickly as possible. I really appreciate everything their staff has done for me over the years.

I need a wheel bearing replaced in my Audi before leaving town for a long drive. They were able to diagnose and repair the same day. Service was great and price was very reasonable.
Great service and they didn't overcharge even though they went beyond my expectations. They fixed my problem and a project that I had sitting in the back seet, they installed that for free.
I Had to update my review. I recently took three of my vehicles, a SUV, sedan and a sports sedan and they fixed everything without a hitch. They again proved to be dependable and they fit two of the cars in without an appointment. I had to leave them there for a day but they got to them in a day and kept me informed of what was happening once they started and finished. I've saved well over $1,000 going to Skips over the other overpriced shops. Their prices have gone up a little but their service and honestly is well worth the extra couple bucks.
My mother in law had recommended this auto repair shop to me saying that they have always been extremely kind, trustworthy and fair on their prices. The very first time I went there, Davie walked outside himself and helped me with my issue really fast and did not even charge me. Since then, I have gone there for all of my car problems because they have been the most trustworthy and understanding.
Quality repairs at a reasonable cost. I have been in six or seven times over the years for various repairs and services, and I'm always very pleased with the experience. Although they are almost always busy, they accommodate walk-ins in a timely manner. I also appreciate that they never pressure me for additional services, like other chain shops or dealerships. I feel their prices are fair and sometimes they can even offer used parts if you are on a tight budget.
I have had multiple great experiences with Skip's Auto. They are polite and communicative. They have always been able to help me with various issues at a reasonable price. I would (and do) recommend to anyone.

I have brought cars to Skips for many years as far back I think as in the 90's. They do great work they don't overcharge at all. They have alot of intergity. If they have to do redo some thing they do it without complaining. Have always had friendly people greet me when I come in. I recommend them to everyone and will continue to do so.

Davy and crew do a great job and I appreciate the consult on necessary repairs and cost prior to the work being started, and updates if other issues are discovered during the repairs. I would use Skip's Auto for all of my auto repair needs. I have trusted them to work on our vehicles for over 20 years !
These guys have saved me on a couple occasions and I've never felt taken advantage of or overcharged. In fact, my whole family has used Skips, parents, sister, etc. They are fair, courteous and quick. Only reason I don't use them more is I don't live near them.

I have been taking my vehicles (three of them) to Skips for years - was told about Skips by a co-worker. The most honest people you will ever meet in the auto repair business. I had a problem with one of my vehicles and did not have time to take it to Skips so I took it to Good Year and they quoted me a price - seemed high so I called Skips and got the work done for half the price. Have taken vehicles in with what I thought were problems and they will tell you honestly if there is no problem. Most places will give you a laundry list of things they say need fixing. If no problem - no charge. They also stand behind what they do - I will never take my vehicles to anyone but Skips - they are the BEST!!!!!!!
I went to Skips for the first time back in August 2020 and it was a positive experience. I needed new breaks and I ended up paying a substantially cheaper price than what the dealership, and even what Meineke quoted me. I dropped my car off around 11am and it was done before 3pm. My breaks are still going strong! Skip's Auto is pretty much my mechanic now...lol. I will definitely be returning whenever my car requires maintenance.
My family has used Skips for years, I took my minivan to Skips last week with transmission issues, Davy troubleshot it added some fliud and test drove it. When I stopped in to get the van Davy told me that there was some issues with the transmission but my money would be better spent on buying a different vehicle. The cost was $5 for the fluid. I wouldn't have blinked an eye at a bill for $200 for his time but his honesty does not surprise me from this shop. I have had them fix things in the past and I have always been happy with the work and the price was always fair. I have heard similar stories from other customers about Skips and I have recommended Skips to many people.
We've been going to skips for at least 30 years. They have always been honest with us (even when it was time to send a car to tow truck heaven, and when the repair was just a simple 5$ nut-bolt tightening). They call promptly, are very professional, and kind. We will keep using their service in the future.
Skip’s is the only place I trust to take my vehicles. Excellent customer service, excellent work, excellent communication. The only downside I can think of is, it can be difficult to get in on the schedule at certain times. But, if your mechanic is always free....he’s probably not very good.
After experiencing the worst service ever at other mechanic shops I was referred to skips by my supervisor and. Since then Skip's has been the only place i trust to get any work done on my car. They are honest people and get the job done in a timely matter.
