I stopped into Sparks without an appointment after Discount Tire would not fix my flat. Sparks got it taken care of the same day, and I had my car back within an hour. They even checked my brakes for free and made sure all my tires were properly inflated. I couldn’t be happier with the service. I even received a small discount for paying cash. I will definitely be going back the next time I need my car checked out.

Had been a long time customer as these guys were good. It all started going down hill when Colton bacame the service manager. It started with my first visit when Colton was in charge. Communication was not as good as it had been. My next visit was similar, I called talked with Colton told him what was what. He didn't ask for my name and the conversation was so quick I'm sure he didn't take notes. The last time I went there will be my last time. Called talked to Colton said car was coming in on a tow truck. Again, no name and no notes taken. Called the next day to make sure he knew what was wrong, of course he didn't remember. A few days went by with no word until I got an email with a quote for diagnostics. Gave the go ahead online and called to make sure. A few days later I call to find out what is going on and they hadn't even looked at my car. Got an email quote again, I called because there was other stuff I asked him to do and they were not on the quote. He didn't remember. After 8 days my car was done, so he said. The other work I needed was tire work. The TPMS light was on when I picked it up. The next day the exact same symptom happened. The car had no power. In one of our conversations he said the battery checked out good. Brought it to another mechanic and the battery was bad. They can't even diagnose a bad battery? Here's the kicker. I called to inform them of my experience, I was not rude, and Colton hung up on me. This shop has changed and can no longer be trusted. Buyer beware.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Sparks Auto Group for about 5 years now and I have always been listened to and believed when I told them what I thought was going on. As a female getting mechanics to even listen is hard but thats not what you'll get here! Colton is absolutely wonderful to work with as is Matt the new owner! If you need a great mechanic shop, look no further, these guys are the best!

I have a self-converted RAM Promaster adventure van. Fun Fact: if you have a self-converted Promaster, RAM dealers in the Metro area will not service it! I needed a transmission service (R&R filter and fluid) and started looking for somewhere that could perform the service. A friend recommended Sparks. They were happy to service my gigantic vehicle and were enjoyable to interact with. Sparks will have all of my business from now on. I highly recommend Sparks for all of your automotive needs.

My experience at Sparks Auto this year has been wonderful! I bought a new Interstate battery from them last spring, but this morning my car wouldn't start, had to jump it to get to work, so when it wouldn't start after I called the manager and brought it in. They were so accommodating to my every need, so they checked everything out & got it running again & I was out within 15 minutes, no charge. Thank you Sparks Auto!

This morning was my first time at Sparks Auto and I wil never go to another place for my auto needs. Colton was so friendly and sat and went over things with me after the work was done. The wait was less than I thought which was a nice surprise. I also met a great woman named Alice who has been going there for years and she gave them a rave review. I will reccomend this place to the peoople who live in our building.

Colton you are the true meaning of what customers service is about. You take the time to explain with details the diagnosed of every customer vehicle. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, and the price was affordable and fair. They were nice enough to squeeze me in their schedule after asking if they could help me out today. I absolutely love this shop! The guys here are incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable! They always explain things to me in leeway terms and offer several options so I can choose how I would like to pursue any given situation. As a woman I appreciate their honesty and their continuous support. Added with their fair prices I ALWAYS suggest them to anyone I may be speaking with when it comes to car stuff! 11/10 will be coming back again!

I’ve been a client for 20 odd years and the shop continues to offer the most transparent and honest service I’ve ever seen. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve taken my car in and said “i need brakes” and they always check them and say “not yet” and $0 charge. Today I found out there is a new owner and I had the same $0 brake charge and a really great customer experience using their new estimate sign off and payment by text! I’m not great with technology but man was it easy. Then walked in handed the keys to the loaner over and had a nice chat with Colton (he’s smart / courteous - while maintaining that no nonsense approach that Adam had). Usually a new owner would make me question continuing my loyalty - but seeing former owner Paul wrenching and working for the new owner says A LOT! Thanks for being on my team Sparks!

I have been going to Sparks for a long time and the reason is their attention to detail and customer service. No matter what I come in for, they always take the time to sit down and explain exactly what issues they diagnosed and what it would cost to fix it. 30+ years as an owner/operator should be celebrated. We’ve been taking our various cars here for approximately 7 years now. They’ve always been extremely helpful and do not do any hard upsell. They don’t have to - they’re constantly busy. They have a loyal customer base, clearly. We’ve had cars towed here and dropped in off hours, had to leave one onsite overnight once after the repair was finished when we couldn’t get there by closing, and also needed time to make a decision about what we were going to do. They were always accommodating and professional, even when we eventually decided that time to NOT have them do the repair. Adam and the crew there had no problem with it. The gave us advice when we were buying a newer vehicle, too. Highly recommend!

I really believed they did a great job in the beginning but with all the money I spent it was only a temporary fix. The electrical issues started right back after a few months that caused other issues and they didn’t offer any explanation as to why except deflect. I spent a lot of money on an issue that only last a few months before having the same issues again. I’m highly disappointed. I will not be using their services again. They do have great customer service I will say that.

If anyone is looking for an awesome auto repair shop Sparks Auto Group is hands down the most honest, reliable, and customer service focused shop you will ever find. They have extremely reasonable prices and don’t try to sell you things you don’t actually need. Not to mention, Colton is the best service advisor out there and always goes above and beyond to ensure you’re taken care of!

I ain't here to throw stones, so I'm not naming any names, but a different shop in the area won me over for my business helping me out of a bind years ago. I think that crew has moved on and my last few experiences were pretty not great. A few months ago the alternator was going bad in the Mrs car. Friend of mine recommended Sparks a while back and we were able to limp it over. Even though they were closed, the fellow inside unlocked the door, took the car took her info and we had the thing back and running before dinner the next day. Just last week, on the 3rd of July of all days I started misfiring. Young man behind the counter (and also on the phone) was incredibly helpful, super informative, and even complimented the stupid trendy electric skateboard I brought with me to get home on. It was a far cry from my last front desk experience with the aforementioned prior garage, who was so focused on chatting and ordering his sandwich he didn't even inform me my part of the conversation was done and I ended up standing there like a jackass for what felt like an eternity. Again, they kept me posted, didn't cuss me out when I asked them to go back under the hood for a pump I forgot to mention, and I COULD have had the car back in time to make the 3 hour drive to the cabin that Friday. But I made the Mrs drive instead anyways, we just fixed her car too after all Oh and since I left it over the whole weekend, they even parked her in the garage for me.

I went to sparks and a few other places for a second look at an estimate I received. I was told $3,700 for the actual issue plus $1,000+ more for other issues I didn’t know about. I brought my car into Sparks and Adam was very kind in explaining everything so that I could understand. I truly appreciated that he was open to every questions and even said, “there are no stupid questions.” Which made me feel more confident and I was able to understand what was going on with my car. They worked on it right away and were done in a timely manner at a fraction of the price. I am able to drive my car safely now bc of Adam and Sparks Auto Group! Thank you guys!!! I’ll definitely be back if any other issues arise!

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change, I had more than enough time to get there. The whole staff is GREAT! I have been going there for 17 yrs or so. Paul and Chris both have 40 or more yrs off mechanic experience, with 3 other guys and adding, says it all right there. Adam and Pam, greet you to start your service. Let’s take away the fact that I’ve know the new owner for over 30 years. I brought my truck in and told them of the problem at hand. They drove my truck and agreed that it did have the problem I told them about . They couldn't figure out the problem and told me to go to Ford with the issue and then charged me for agree with me that my truck has the issue I told them about. Talk about a waste of time! I should have sent them an invoice for wasting my time. It all starts with walking in the front door and being greeted. No names but the man behind the desk has no social skills at all. There’s a lot of places to get your car fixed explore your options is all I’m saying. Didn’t even have the decency to call me back.

I was once a customer of a different shop across town for 35 years, and I never thought I would find another place that put me before profit, where I trusted both their word and their work, without question. Then I discovered Sparks! These guys are responsive, honest, friendly, and reasonably priced. They are close to our new home and I am thrilled to give them my business! I have never written a review for an auto repair shop, but Sparks Smith Nielsen deserves a great review. These guys are passionate about cars, knowledgeable, and most importantly honest. It is owned and operated by Paul and is not part of some franchise operation where the mechanics change constantly. Paul, Adam, and the entire team are vested in the reputation and quality of service. I would not go anywhere else for a car repair or regular maintenance. Also, I brought in a 1979 Fiat 2000 convertible that most places would not even touch because it is old and problematic. It has never run better since I brought it here for repair and my bill was extremely reasonable. I highly and strongly recommend this auto repair shop, especially if you have an older or specialty vehicle that needs someone with real car expertise and knowledge.

Usually Auto Repairs Shop try to get more money from coustomer. But they help to reduce my cost. They fixed my car with in 1 hour. They help me a lots. I like their service. I really appreciate. I will go again if i have any other issues with my car. I really recommend their service for you . Thanks again

I have been going to this Smith Nielsen location since I moved to the area, and by far, this has been the best and most trustworthy place I've been to. They've taken great care of both of my cars, one of which was very old and needed a lot of work. The pricing is very fair, and they are very good at reviewing everything and breaking down the needed fixes and what can wait.
