Paid $43 for a battery here that I could've picked up at home depot for $22. I understand a little mark up, but doubling the price is not going to get you repeat customers. Lesson learned, don't shop local.
I had a couple of older watches that needed batteries and I had looked a several different stores that carried batteries and none of them had either of the three batteries that I needed.
When I looked it up online and got directions I thought I knew where it was, but I did have difficulty in finding the place. It's a small sign mixed in with some other businesses and it's difficult to spot. I went to Batteries R Us and they had all of the batteries that I needed.
Went in for a battery. I asked the price, he gave me a price just a little higher than what I could get at costco a little further away. I can change my own battery but did ask if the price included install, because it was a higher price. The guy said yes, so I said ok and was going to purchase what he quoted. Took awhile to change out my battery. He comes back and my total is $70 higher than what he told me. I pointed this out and he said we'll there's an install fee and taxes etc. Anyway... I had already waited over 30 minutes and the battery was in my car now. He then said "well i got the wrong battery quoted" (Altho he never informed me that he got the wrong battery or the price increase) He agreed to drop it by $10. I need to be able to move about my day, I guess that's a $60 additional premium. I should have just gone to costco.
Ok...went there because both my batteries dead on car remotes. The two men working were hilarious. I'd visit this place in a heart bear with battery needs!
This is an amazing place to get help with whatever you may need. They did everything they could to help us with our issue and gave us the info we needed. 100% recommend. Orlando was an amazing help. Thank you so much!!!!!!
Truck was filthy on the inside, and was mechanically unfit for the Road. Also we paid for and hired movers for 4 hours through Uhauls website, they were a NO SHOW. I got the run around from customer service, had to call 3 different numbers, my refund has a 10 day grace period and a manager has 3 days to get back to me. One of the customer service ladies had a baby screaming in the back ground and hung up on me, then I had to wait 40 minutes to talk with the next one. If we could give this a -5 for this experience we would!!!!
I came to this store after my car wouldn't start. Jumped my car and drove in to have it tested. The technician told us that the battery (4 yrs old) was fine - it had a near-full charge which indicated that the cells are good and it shouldn't lose power. Two hours later, at home, it was dead. Took it to my main mechanic who within minutes discovered the battery was shot (he started the car 4 times and that fully drained the battery).
I would have expected that a 'battery expert' would have better diagnosis, or understanding of how batteries work. This was quite an inconvenience as we were without a car at a critical time in our day.
Whoever the two dudes were working 11/19/20 at noon are awesome people who really care about their customers. I've never had anyone sell me batteries and then have a full conversation about what they're being used for. This place is great, I'll go out of my way to get batteries here every time.
I hadn't run my car in awhile, and it wouldn't start. Carson was a great help, testing and charging my battery at no charge! I went home, reinstalled my battery and it started right up! He was very helpful. Thank you guys!
Batteries R Us is a rare business these days, as they actually value the customers needs as opposed to viewing the customer as a $ sign. I was in a difficult position due to a dead battery and needed to find a way to get it swapped out in a timely manner. Randy was nice enough to actually drive out to my apartment complex before business hours and install the new battery I purchased from them, just one day after calling to inquire if this service was even offered. I was more surprised when this helpful act only ran me just $15 more than the cost of the battery (It gets even better though). I was then told I could swing by the store whenever I wanted to get my vehicle tested, in order to ensure everything such as the alternator was in good shape moving forward... free of charge. There are very few times where I feel appreciated these days not only as a customer, but as a person. Thank you for your awesome service, and kindness! You helped me out greatly during a stressful situation.
Had two watches that needed batteries. The lady who helped me took about 8 minutes to replace them, and then I was on my way. Great service for under $12.00
Avoid. They sold me a bad "new" battery for my phone. Works about 20% better than the bad battery I was replacing. At the time he sold it to me I was suspicious it was used because he brought the battery and an empty package to the counter and put it in my phone. I never saw it in the package new. The battery doesn't hold a charge like a new battery, not even close. It also overheats my phone when charging. So now, two weeks after buying it, I'm about to buy another battery. $40 down the drain. I won't be back for any reason.
Terrible experience. Don't waste your time. Batteries Plus usually matches coupons. I drove out of my way to visit this Batteries R Us store to discover that it was closed in the middle of the afternoon! Apparently, they have only one employee on staff and that employee was on break. The employee returned from break about 15-20 minutes later than posted on the "will return by" clock/sign on the door. After driving out of my way, and waiting nearly 45 minutes for service, I walked into the store to find that the only employee was on the phone (immediately after returning from break)! I waited inside the store and made eye contact with the employee several times before realizing that the employee and this store has no interest in serving their customers. I walked out and drove to Batteries Plus where I was warmly greeted. Batteries Plus matched Batteries R Us' coupon and provided excellent customer service. Again, do not waste your time with Batteries R Us!
Helped with phone battery. Went above and beyond testing to make sure it was my battery before I bought a new one. It wasn't. Didn't charge me a thing. Much more helpful than T-Mobile...
