Great experience at golden valley O’Reilly!! I can't thank this store enough for the help I received right before closing time last night! I pulled in needing a new battery right after getting a quick jump start. Paul went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He could’ve easily said they were closing soon, but instead, he stepped in with kindness and got me back on the road. He not only replaced my battery for me but helped after the car didn’t start right away. It's rare to find that kind of genuine customer service these days. Huge thanks to Paul and the whole team!

I had the best customer experience on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Golden Valley! Heather was so welcoming and put all four bulbs in for my front and back blinkers to work properly. I will recommend this store to anyone looking for auto parts and exceptional service.
Heather and crew were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! She even came out to my car in 5 degree weather to put my new wiper blades on for me. Great prices, location and staff- this is “my” O’Reilly’s now!
This is a great place in a very throwback location. Stopped in today to grab some fluids for my Jeep. The young lady behind the counter was extremely cool and the gentleman behind the counter was very welcoming. Prices are great. The best part though. Is that for any Gen x or older, It'll bring a tear to your eye! They have an old school RADIO SHACK!!! that is out of business but the sign is still hanging! It was so wild to see it! I'll definitely be back to grab whatever I need. As a traveler, my wife and I always look for the best places to maintain our baby Phoenix. AKA the Jeep.

I went to the O’Reilly in Golden Valley this evening thinking Eagan had sold me the wrong bulbs for my headlights. When my husband and I walked in Russ greeted us promptly and was so polite. He reassured us that we had the correct lights and even offered to install them for us. He was quick, efficient, polite, friendly. It’s pretty cold outside this evening and he stood out there in the cold changing a total of 3 bulbs for us because we couldn’t guarantee that the one high beam light hadn’t been touched. I offered to buy him a cocoa and he hesitated but I insisted. He looked a bit surprised when I came back with the cocoa I had promised him, he again politely thanked me. I think that the world could use more Russ’ his customer service is impeccable. I will be back to this location in the future.
Flat tire on cold Sunday evening. I didnt have rite socket for my torque wrench that fit my friends lug nuts. Is Reilly still open? Yes they were! Called ahead and staff had socket i needed waiting for me when I arrived. Impressive in age where good service on a timely basis is hard to find!!
Got a very nice worker to come out and look at my car where I had scraped up against a yellow pole by the bank. He said he had heard Easy Off oven cleaner took it off. I bought some at Target and my neighbor tried a small spot with a soft cloth, and it took it off. Didn’t take out the dent (obviously), but it sure looked better. I go to the one on West Broadway in Crystal MN. They have always been helpful and kind to me.
Good job by employees. Overheard good knowledge based advice to customers. They found what I needed in a timely fashion. I've been there before and will be there again.
Whenever I pop in, the staff is friendly and super helpful. Even when Google lied, and I buy the wrong stuff, and come back in two hours later, they set me up with what I needed in the first place. Give these folks a raise, a high-five, or something to show that you appreciate them.
I live nearby and always come here if I need anything auto related or having lights come on any of our vehicles. The people here are ALWAYS ALWAYS extremely helpful and willing to give advice and help troubleshoot. 10/10 recommend coming here! Glad to have these people nearby.
Helpful, knowledgeable people. I needed to check out the Check Engine light on my dashboard. The obvious answer was a sensor but they thought it might be something different. (I took it to Wayzata Chev as it was still under warranty. They independently confirmed what the guys at O'Reilly said and replaced the part.)

Went in the other day to find replacement bulbs for my turn signals. Tim was behind the counter and assisted me during the visit, he was looking up the parts and workable alternatives. They didn't have any in store stock that day, but Tim was extremely helpful in providing information and options to obtain the correct part. Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable staff. Will be stopping in again to do business!
Highly recommend using this location for all of your automotive needs. I make the drive past multiple other locations for both my business and personal needs, due to the honest and helpful service Mike and his team provides. Honest, helpful and prompt service every time!
Staff are super friendly and helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. They even hung around for a couple of minutes after closing time once when we blew an upper radiator hose and had to get a part late in the evening. The guy working had the part all ready for us and got is in and out fast. Happy to drive a little farther to get good service even tho there is another auto part store closer to home.
