These guys are amazing! I was having issues with the transmission in my truck and I was recommended to come see Chris and the crew for a second opinion after a long drawn out battle with the dealership. The issue that the dealer stated "wasnt a concern" was quickly recognized by Chris on a short test drive the very same day I picked my truck up from the dealer that didnt want to help me. Chris and his team got to my truck in a very timely manner and worked with my warranty company through the entire process to get my transmission replaced. Tsi's transmission broke 2nd time on the trail under light wheeling, then blamed me. My new builders transmission has been spot on and all summer and I've beaten it. What does that say for this fools work? I'm sure they can swap transmissions in stock applications all day long and be somewhat ok but DO NOT trust them to do anything but that. Furthermore, any reputable builder knows a th350 will not survive with mrvb and a stock sprag race so either he knowingly used cheap parts in hope the warranty would run out before the trans failed or he didn't know how to properly put together a th350 for my application. Either way don't look good for him.

We had an awesome experience with this shop! They resolved ongoing issues that were not properly addressed by previous mechanics. The problems, potential resolutions, and costs were all explained thoroughly and they called with updates and questions as needed. Its such a relief to be be able to bring your vehicle to a reliable shop!
I called the Transmission Shop for a 3rd opinion after being told we needed a new transmission instead of just the TCM module.
Thank you Chris and his staff for looking at our low mileage 2014 Ford Focus! Chris was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and walked us through the process with multiple phone calls. He agreed that our TCM module needed to be replaced and there were no other issues with the transmission.

Many thanks to Chris. According to three other shops, my van needed a new transmission. However, Chris, a good-hearted man, and the TSI team discovered that the knock sensors, not the transmission, were the cause of the jolting bad shifting. My van is now shifting smoothly. Do not hesitate to see Chris if you have any car problems, including transmission issues. He does the right thing and straight-up honest man!.

I brought my 2007 Tundra in expecting the worst - my rear wheels were skipping and slipping and was fully expecting my transfer case or transmission to be hosed. I worked with Chris, and within a couple of hours, they diagnosed my issue to a faulty coil, nothing to do with the transmission. Any dishonest shop would have told me that it was the transmission and collected their money. I greatly appreciate the honesty and the price for the service. Opd School service but newest technology. These guys are great to work with. I had an issue about 6 years ago and they got me in right away amd covered every penny under there nice warranty, and I even needed a receipt printed from 3 years ago and the guy had it waiting at the counter when I got there. So this is a next level place, that makes it enjoyable to do business.
Last fall I was having transmission problems for the 2nd time in 18 months on my car. After going to a couple of shops, I finally landed at TSI and Chris. Him and his team were able to get the part fixed quickly, explained what was going on in simple terms, and helped me try to fight ford on honoring a warranty on the part (since it was the same part that was replaced less than 2 years earlier). They’ve definitely won me over as a customer and I plan on coming back to them for any car problems or maintenance in the future!
I went in to ask a few questions about the transmission on my truck after getting contradictory information from the dealership and online. The manager Chris was extremely knowledgeable, he informed me that my trans wasnt due for a fluid change yet but I will definitely be returning when the time comes. They gave me an estimate that was half the price of the dealership. Excellent customer service.

Chris is not only very friendly and hospitable but clearly knows his stuff. He was able to trouble shoot by just hearing me tell of the "symptoms" I was experiencing. They were able to get someone out right away to upgrade the necessary software and they tried something much less expensive prior to making a big repair, saving me a great deal of money. Outstanding service! I had issues with a sensor in my transmission and significant leaking from an aftermarket sunroof that a previous owner installed in my SUV. The shop manager was honest, friendly and very helpful. The issues were identified and remedied extremely quickly, which was important for us. This shop for Years have been nothing but good to me very honest very sincere. Chris is the best person you can ever want to handle your vehicle. I have had Mercedes to a H3 repaired and they have always been reasonable with pricing always trying to figure out ways to cut costs for me great people to work with.

Had a great experience working with Chris and his team there. It is always painful to have an expensive repair on a vehicle, but working with someone you TRUST is priceless. I had upfront pricing and a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. After the work was completed, they walked me through the shop and showed me the pieces that were replaced and explained why. When you walk in its like "Cheers" very friendly. Cars are not cheap and they make sure we knew price up front. They treated my wife as one of their family members and that's important to her. Only been 50 miles I'll update soon as I'm 100 my HONDA WAS WORTH almost 3k to put back on road with 182XXX on the clock and a transmission from California for 1300 with 75K for mileage um yeah we looking solid so far we looking Real Nice only issue is the 1st call price was 1100 then it went up to almost 1500 to install a transmission not wanting to argue and not the source of Funds for the job wasn't really a concern TBH but 1100 to almost 1500 is a major concern if you're paying these cost. And nothing from 1st quote to the new quota was changed so again make sure you know what you're paying for b4 u consider these guys. All in all Chris the main dude was super nice and quick ! quick af 2 days it took so far so good to replace a transmission with my used transmission not a R'n R rebuild n reinstall lol for the ladies outchea. Haha super satisfied but only 50 miles so far all in all yes at this point they would get my return business n future but price will be more Pressing and discussed. 5 stars here very happy thanks TSI super happy.
My father arrived from out of town with what he thought was a possible transmission issue. Although Chris was booked out for 2 weeks he told us to bring it in right away and he would take a look just to make sure it was safe to drive. Chris called us the next day and reassured my dad it was safe. I cannot thank them enough for the peace of mind that he gave to my dad. If I ever do have a transmission issue I will definitely go to TSI.
