Just had my transmission rebuilt here and I would recommend this place to anybody. Chris is super knowledgeable over the phone and the truck was done in less than a week, and it drives flawlessly!
This transmission shop especially (Chris) has always taken care of any of my vehicle issues i have had for the many years ive been going here! I send ALL my friends here also because i trust the shop so much!!!!!
We were in town for a day trip (we live 300 miles away) and of course that was the time our transmission started howling and not shifting. How fortunate were we that this transmission shop was within limping distance. They took it in and diagnosed the problem, then completely rearranged the work schedule to get it solved and get us on the road home again. A technician stayed late to drop the old transmission in anticipation of the new one, and ultimately, we were up and running really quickly.
Service at the front desk was amazing, took my car in after a sudden issue occurred and once they figured out the issue they contacted me right away and explained everything throughly. I have family who have sent their cars to this shop for over 10+ years and it’s safe to say they are still trustworthy!
My tranny started acting up when I was in town for a trade show - 1,000 miles away from home in Texas. I needed accurate and complete information to decide whether to try to get it home for repairs. Thomas was very professional in his diagnosis, relying on his computer and his experience with cargo vans. He showed me exactly what was going on and advised how I could handle the return trip to put the least strain on the lower gears. Chris was up front about his scheduling, very friendly and personable while I was waiting, and at the end of the day, he gave me the information free of charge. That's a service oriented organization. I was very grateful - and made it home for my 10 day repair.
Transmission Shop Inc. is an incredible place to have your car cared for! Thomas G., an able and pleasent supervisor went out of his way to provide me with emergency repair that was top-notch and saved the weekend for my daughter and I. He was a true hero making time for us and providing a quick and thorough fix right away.

Many thanks to Chris. According to three other shops, my van needed a new transmission. However, Chris, a good-hearted man, and the TSI team discovered that the knock sensors, not the transmission, were the cause of the jolting bad shifting. My van is now shifting smoothly. Do not hesitate to see Chris if you have any car problems, including transmission issues. He does the right thing and straight-up honest man!.

These guys are amazing! I was having issues with the transmission in my truck and I was recommended to come see Chris and the crew for a second opinion after a long drawn out battle with the dealership. The issue that the dealer stated "wasnt a concern" was quickly recognized by Chris on a short test drive the very same day I picked my truck up from the dealer that didnt want to help me. Chris and his team got to my truck in a very timely manner and worked with my warranty company through the entire process to get my transmission replaced. I called the Transmission Shop for a 3rd opinion after being told we needed a new transmission instead of just the TCM module.
Thank you Chris and his staff for looking at our low mileage 2014 Ford Focus! Chris was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and walked us through the process with multiple phone calls. He agreed that our TCM module needed to be replaced and there were no other issues with the transmission.

Opd School service but newest technology. These guys are great to work with. I had an issue about 6 years ago and they got me in right away amd covered every penny under there nice warranty, and I even needed a receipt printed from 3 years ago and the guy had it waiting at the counter when I got there. So this is a next level place, that makes it enjoyable to do business.

Last fall I was having transmission problems for the 2nd time in 18 months on my car. After going to a couple of shops, I finally landed at TSI and Chris. Him and his team were able to get the part fixed quickly, explained what was going on in simple terms, and helped me try to fight ford on honoring a warranty on the part (since it was the same part that was replaced less than 2 years earlier). They’ve definitely won me over as a customer and I plan on coming back to them for any car problems or maintenance in the future!

I went in to ask a few questions about the transmission on my truck after getting contradictory information from the dealership and online. The manager Chris was extremely knowledgeable, he informed me that my trans wasnt due for a fluid change yet but I will definitely be returning when the time comes. They gave me an estimate that was half the price of the dealership. Excellent customer service.
I brought my 2007 Tundra in expecting the worst - my rear wheels were skipping and slipping and was fully expecting my transfer case or transmission to be hosed. I worked with Chris, and within a couple of hours, they diagnosed my issue to a faulty coil, nothing to do with the transmission. Any dishonest shop would have told me that it was the transmission and collected their money. I greatly appreciate the honesty and the price for the service. I will definitely be looking them up if I need any more work done. Thank you, gentlemen, for the honest, reasonably priced, and quick work!

Tsi's transmission broke 2nd time on the trail under light wheeling, then blamed me. My new builders transmission has been spot on and all summer and I've beaten it. What does that say for this fools work? I'm sure they can swap transmissions in stock applications all day long and be somewhat ok but DO NOT trust them to do anything but that. Furthermore, any reputable builder knows a th350 will not survive with mrvb and a stock sprag race so either he knowingly used cheap parts in hope the warranty would run out before the trans failed or he didn't know how to properly put together a th350 for my application. Either way don't look good for him.
Chris is as honest and transparent as they come. I've used them countless times to diagnose and service transmissions throughout the years. Chris is not only very friendly and hospitable but clearly knows his stuff. He was able to trouble shoot by just hearing me tell of the "symptoms" I was experiencing. They were able to get someone out right away to upgrade the necessary software and they tried something much less expensive prior to making a big repair, saving me a great deal of money. Outstanding service! I had issues with a sensor in my transmission and significant leaking from an aftermarket sunroof that a previous owner installed in my SUV. The shop manager was honest, friendly and very helpful. The issues were identified and remedied extremely quickly, which was important for us. The cost was less than quoted and the workmanship was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Transmission Shop Inc in Brooklyn Park to friends and family!
This shop for Years have been nothing but good to me very honest very sincere. Chris is the best person you can ever want to handle your vehicle. I have had Mercedes to a H3 repaired and they have always been reasonable with pricing always trying to figure out ways to cut costs for me great people to work with.
