I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and to issue a strong warning regarding the services provided by Jeremy Todd. On September 22nd 2025, I brought my vehicle in for an overall inspection, scheduled with an appointment. Despite being told the inspection would take approximately 45 minutes, the service took over an hour and a half.
More alarmingly, several hours after leaving the service center, the lug nuts on my wheels came loose, nearly causing a severe accident. I was forced to have my vehicle towed. Upon contacting Meineke to report the incident, I received no apology or concern; the representative, Jeremy Todd, was dismissive and unhelpful.
This negligence and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. The faulty service could have had fatal consequences. for your safety please do not bring your car here.
Please see the attached images documenting the condition of my vehicle after it became necessary to pull over due to instability. Upon inspection at the scene, the tow truck operator noted significant damage to the wheel assembly, suggesting the issue was not the result of a single incident. A subsequent inspection by a second mechanic corroborated this assessment, indicating the damage was likely caused by external factors. I believe this evidence supports my claim of external responsibility for the damages incurred.
Stop by this place on my way to work . Talked to Jeremy about my exchaust system issue and needed an estimate. He had the truck inside in 10 minutes and gave me a price. I said I was in a hurry to go to work and he ordered the part and I was on my way in less than an hour. He was great and Nichole was excellent and the price was even better. Found a place to bring my vehicle for future repair. Thank you, Jeremy.
We got an estimate for repairs on my daughter's car. The estimate was for $1700 to replace both front struts. Only one strut was said to be broken, but we were told that we had to replace both because the parts came in pairs.
The very next day we went to another auto repair garage. They showed us that a piece of the left front spring was broke and would need to be replaced. They said they could replace just the one spring. The estimate was for $500.
A lot of auto repair shops get a bad reputation for jacking up the price on unneeded repairs. This Meineke garage is a perfect example of these customer gouging tactics.
I will never bring any of my vehicles to any Meineke garage.
Took 1.5 hours for a scheduled oil change. Also asked for a tire rotation and figured out that they never did it. When asked they said I didn’t need it. Isn’t the point of a rotation every 6,000 miles to prevent the ability to see that you need one. Wondering if my oil got changed?
Very professional I think I met with Jeff he was such a very busy hardworking gentlemen I didn't have a visit scheduled and he said "I got you don't worry about it" and sure enough it was a quick visit thought I was gonna be there all day from the traffic thru there. But very awesome business.
The customer service is on point. The manager needs a raise! He is so patient with customers and calls. He is so honest, to the point, and will explain all your car questions. Seriously would never go anywhere else in the twin cities. My car was fixed in such a reasonable time and it was a timing belt (big job). No tricky sales or over priced fees.
Meineke in Brooklyn Park was very convenient and accommodating for me. I usually set an appointment a few days ahead of time, but I had a big trip coming up and needed an oil change on short notice. Jeremy and Nicole were very accommodating, fitting me in and getting the oil changed done for me quickly. This is why I love being a Meineke customer.
I was treated very professionally, shown exactly what the inspection covered, and given an accurate repair estimate for the brake service. All this was provided even though I just yet didn’t need the repairs right away. Jeremy was very good at working with me.
Great work! I only came to get my tires changed and they had a long wait time, but still let me know what was going on and they went above and beyond .
I brought my car in for some scary noises when pressing on brakes. The techs checked my car and determined the causes quickly. They got the work done in about 90 minutes. Jeremy and the staff are always friendly, honest and professional! I’d highly recommend Meineke Brooklyn Park.
Took my van in to get my A/C fix and see why i can't start my van sometimes. It was diagnose with A/C recharge and new alternator and I agreed to paying for those work. They did a good job on putting in an alternator into my my van but they misdiagnose my van with alternator and A/C recharge. ($1369 job)
They end up putting in a new crankshaft sensor (which they paid for and the main source of the problem, not the alternator) and the A/C recharge was a failure, which did not fix the problem ($250 loss). The van was in their shop for 2 weeks.
Then I took my van back to get another A/C diagnose. The new diagnose needed a new A/C compressor and new A/C condensor. ($2000 job). I declined that job because I would of save money if they diagnose my van correctly the first time around.
I thank them for getting my van properly started though.
I'm sure they do good work but I will not be going back.
I recently visited Meineke to address the issue of my wife's car of A/C not cooling after winter. Presumably a small leakage.
I was pleasantly surprised with easiness to schedule the appointment for service online, transparency with all operations and diagnosis, as well as pricing.
Even though they didn't find the spot / cause of a leakage, they refilled my AC, also adding dye. They promised, next time they would see the leakage, repair it and then refill for free, as I understood.
Happy so far with a such service.
Horrible experience at this Brooklyn Park Location. To start with, while doing the check in, I was having a hard time with the receptionist while apparently the manager and another worker where talking very loudly, receptionist told me that it will only take about 30 mins for them to do the alignment and rotation. 2 hours later they called me to return to the shop only to find out that they couldn’t do the job because they couldn’t remove the wheels as they had broke one of the wheel nots, they blamed on the person who service the wheels last. So no apologies or anything was offered, they seem like they didn’t care about what they had done as they were more concerned on what they were having for lunch, the mechanic took for ever to put the wheels back, he was on the phone and working on putting back the wheels, even the food that they had ordered came back sooner that him finishing the job, he even too the time to eat his burger even though I was waiting for my truck.
I had to take my truck to a different place to do their mess, end up spending extra money.
I felt that this people are inexperienced and not customer service friendly.
Don’t recommend this place at all.
Reached out early Saturday morning to see if my truck could get looked at before my son took it to prom. It was making a clunking noise and I wanted to ensure he was safe. Nicole got me in right away and was so kind and helpful. The gentleman who inspected truck were so kind and explained in details what was wrong and they offered to fix right away. An all around great experience.
I recently brought my brand-new car to this service area for an inspection, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving my vehicle back, I discovered a dent and scratch that were not there before. Initially, the manager appeared willing to address the issue and investigate what happened. However, as time went on, their cooperation dwindled, and they became resistant to showing any camera footage that could have shed light on the incident. This lack of transparency and accountability regarding damage to my vehicle is deeply concerning and has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with the service provided.
I went in to the shop after I got off work. The receptionist had such a nasty attitude. I was trying to find out or get an round about figure of how much it will cost me to get my car fixed seem like it passed her off for some reason. The mechanic standing there at the time had to tell her " give her an estimate " well, he left to go back to the garage and she continued her nasty ways
, SO I WALKED OUT!!! NOT GONNA BEG AND PAY AT THE SAME TIME . Guess I'll go across the parking lot to VictoryAuto & Glass.
zero stars should be an option. made an appt to get my air conditioning checked at 330pm, receptionist told me the ac guy left early today, and no one else could look at it. no reason, no apology. receptionist didn’t even make eye contact with me the whole three minutes i was in there. horrible customer service/business.
The service and repair was excellent. We had an unexpected emergency issue and they fit us in without a prior appointment, ordered the necessary parts and once they arrived they completed the repair. It was a short amount of time we had to wait and the whole experience could have been so much worse if not for Meineke and Jeff! Jeff was amazing and saved the day! We will definitely return for auto service again in the future.
I had a great first experience here, every staff was very welcoming and friendly, definitely made me feel like my car was trusted in good hands. Didn’t take long to get new brakes, pads, and rotors. Dropped it off the same day and picked it back up the same day as well. Also didn’t know that they had a two year warranty as well which is great in case anything happens in that time frame. Would definitely recommend and come back here for sure! :)
