My family was just recently in an accident and Cardinal toys and told his truck when he asked me to hold a couple hundred dollars so he can get his possessions out his truck I asked him how much was it he said that they were charging him $500 to get his possession out of his truck which is buku crazy so we can start in an attorney and he said a lot of shady companies do this and when he called and said why is it that much tell him to sign over his title of the truck and then it will only go down to 296 that he will have to pay to get his things he had his work uniform and other work related things in there including a brand new battery including a brand new booster cable charger machine overall play get over on people not a good company at all.

Like most tow services, this place has its quirks, but their policies are riddled with inconsistencies. After my car broke down on the highway and was towed there, I called to retrieve it, only to be told that only the person listed on the title could pick it up. I asked if that person could authorize me via a call or e-signature, but they flatly refused. Ironically, when I arrived at their office on Monday morning, there were forms available that would’ve authorized me to pick up the car. To make matters worse, they charged a boarding fee for the weekend—even though they’re closed on weekends. The most frustrating part was dealing with the -14°F weather while they sent the titled owner to dig through the car in the backyard for the registration. That person doesn’t even drive the car regularly, so of course, they couldn’t find it. Despite my repeated explanations, the staff insisted. At one point, they told me I could search for it myself, only to change their minds yet again. When I finally picked up the car the next day, the registration papers were sitting in the backseat the whole time—the same papers they said couldn’t be found. And to top it all off, I had to pay another boarding fee. This place has terrible customer service, inconsistent policies, and poor communication. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I wouldn’t trust them to be upfront or transparent about anything related to your vehicle. If you’re considering their service, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Stay away from these people they are running a PONGEE SCHEME if you ask me. All you have to do is dig and dig and you will see how far the rabbit hole goes. Very RUDE and unprofessional people. I did not get the notice tell Jan 6th but they claim it was sent out Dec 9th. They are liars stay far away from these people and the Collins Brothers out of St.Cloud they own Cardinal Towing the CEO’S name is James. They hung up on me on numerous occasions. Very unprofessional.

Professional, speedy and courteous. My car was fully intact, and they took care to place my valuables and belongings in the trunk. Thank you for not making a difficult situation worse.

"I had a very negative experience with this towing service. Not only did they tow my truck without a valid reason, but I also experienced racist behavior from the staff. I do not recommend this place at all." "Terrible experience! My truck was unjustly towed, and the staff was extremely disrespectful and racist. Avoid this place at all costs. "Awful service and racist staff. They towed my truck without reason and treated me very poorly They even disconnected some parts from my truck and I have got fixed that . I do not recommend this place at all."

Very rude and entitled supervisor by the name of Stephanie. The staff is mal informed on policies. I was told I could pay cash or card on the phone but once I got there I was told differently. Crappy looking building too.

Just had a horrible experience at Cardinal towing with this woman named Stephanie. Basically, my son and I brought all the paperwork he needed to sign a release so the appraiser could do his job. When we got up there, she said the appraiser just left, but she refused to let him appraise the car even though we were on our way up there. since we have the proper paperwork, we can have them come up there tomorrow. My son have forgot title So we left came back, brought the title then she decides she wasn’t going to allow the appraiser to look at the car and would not give my son the release forms to sign. She said the appraiser had to pay her in order for him to do his job. We called the car dealership which they thought it was the weirdest thing. we even had the claim number for the other insurance because the other person had hit my son. They never heard anything before they try to talk to her, and she basically told them the same thing like she’s holding the car hostage. This woman is suffering for mental health issues, and this is a way to for her to control others because she can’t control her own life, but it’s sick and it’s shameful that she’s giving my son such a hard time so he can move forward and get another car. You can just look at this woman tell she’s miserable and wants to make everybody else’s life miserable.

I recently had a shocking and frustrating experience with Cardinal Towing Services. My car was parked legally and securely in a private parking lot, yet they towed it without any notification or consent. I only discovered my car was missing when I went to use it and found an empty spot. When I called Cardinal Towing Services, they claimed my car was "improperly parked," which was absolutely not the case. Despite my protest and explanation that the parking was valid, they refused to release my vehicle without charging an exorbitant fee. The customer service representative was dismissive and unhelpful, providing no evidence or clear reason for why my car was taken. It felt like they were more interested in making a quick buck than in providing a legitimate service. It took days of back-and-forth and a significant out-of-pocket expense to retrieve my vehicle, all for no good reason. This experience was incredibly stressful and inconvenient. Cardinal Towing Services showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for their customers. If I could give negative stars on this review, I would gladly do so. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company, as they seem more focused on exploiting people than providing honest and reliable service.

I was in a car accident and Cardinal towing pretty much laughed in my face when I explained That I had some valuable tools and irreplaceable items that I've been saving for my son and that they were in the trunk of the damaged car. They would not help me get them out before totaling my car and would not provide me with my cars final destination.

At first I thought I was going to leave a good review but I was overcharged and not properly refunded. They were quick to answer the call and took my credit card payment info prior to the truck coming. I was told about $150. I never got a receipt emailed or texted. The truck arrived in about 30 minutes. I broke down in the city that they are located, Brooklyn Park, MN and it was a nice day so they weren't really that busy. The tow was 4.9 miles to the dealership also located in Brooklyn, Park. The driver insisted on taking my credit card payment, AGAIN, before releasing me and my car. I told him that I was already charged on the phone prior to pick up. My credit card reflected a total of $292.87. When they realized they overcharged me, I was only refunded $98.93 of it. Again, never got an emailed or texted statement of what their rates are or what the total charge was supposed to be after any additional fees such as taxes. So I paid a total of $193.94 for a flat-bed tow of 4.9 miles.

They overcharged me. Seeking legal actions! Pray they never touch a vehicle of mine. Not to mention they left the hazards on for 15hrs that they had the vehicle. Will not recommend-

One of the drivers was beyond disrespectful to me. Didn’t want to help my situation at all and basically told me to push my bike out of there and good luck. Called prior was told hike was fine from pictures. I show up and it’s totaled, not only that but parts of the bike were literally falling off.. incompetent and not able to help people that were already screwed in the situation. 100% don’t recommend

If I could give zero stars I would. My parents were in an accident, and the paramedics left my dad's oxygen in the car. I was talked so rudely too in an emergency situation to get the oxygen from the vehicle so my dad could leave the hospital, as he is oxygen dependent. They lack compassion, and basic human kindness. Their customer service is next to none, they would do nothing to help in the situation, and I was constantly talked over while trying to explain what was happening. The person I talked to at the Brooklyn park location was incredibly rude, and when I asked to talk to a supervisor her response was "well I am what you get" . If you can have your car towed anywhere else, I would highly recommend thinking twice before using their services.

Had my car towed here… I was super concerned, because I had a tone of expensive equipment in the truck bed, which was uncovered, but the staff was nice enough to park it inside when they saw it. Everyone was polite, friendly and pleasant, which I must say is a “first” for me, when it comes to towing companies. Shouldn’t say I strongly recommend, you know…:) but, I sure am glad my truck ended up here and not somewhere with bunch of grumpy, mean employees, who wouldn’t give a flying fart about my stuff.

The African American front desk lady was rude and was screaming at us the first time we walked through those doors. She either didn’t like Muslim people people. She had attitude the whole time and was impatient. When she was talking on the phone she was super nice with helping other customers. But we were standing right in front of her and she was SCREAMING AT US. Never doing business with these people ever again. Unprofessional, impatient, and most of all RUDE! And let’s not forget the overcharging people and scamming. These people took my car from an accident and since it was the holidays I couldn’t physically go get my car. When I got there they charged me $785 DOLLARS. And when I asked her if she could drop the car off at a repair shop that was literally 2 minutes away. She told me it was 160 bucks. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL SCAM U. They charged me 785 dallors even though it was there fault they didn’t answer their phones for over the holiday

Nick W. was the driver that picked up my car at a mechanic’s shop that did not properly service my vehicle. Nick transported my vehicle to a different location and was SUPER respectful and nice. After a stressful week dealing with this issue and still not having a vehicle that works Nick definitely made my night by just being kind. Thank you Nick! We appreciated you and your kindness! Keep it up.

Be nice to these people, hard working people and the customers have a chip on their shoulder. Its.not their fault whatever reason you car is there, impounded or otherwise detained. These are some nice guys who work hard so stop your complaints about bringing the proper documentation. Only place I would ever give six stars too...their customers come in 95% mad already because they mad a costly mistake.

Lucas arrived on time, got my truck on the bed and over to my mechanic. Based on him helping me out the way he did I'd definitely recommend this company!

Needed a tow on a Sunday morning. Lucas was amazing. Great guy. Went above and beyond in helping us out. Really appreciate all he did for us especially with it being on Sunday outside of normal business hours. Can't thank him enough. Definitely recommend giving Lucas and Cardinal Towing a call if you're in need of a tow.

One of the best Towing experiences I've ever had. Lucas was our towing guy and he was the best I've seen. I was amazed how fast he showed up. Super cool and positive guy that genuinely cared about helping out the community. Would not hesitate to call for another service!

They showed up late, charged us $134 to tow a small car 2 miles to the shop because of a lack of communication between the customer service rep and the person sent to tow the vehicle. Were completely unforgiving and refused to work with us. Would highly recommend against using their services.

Got rear ended by a distracted driver and cardinal towed my car for me. I went to hospital to get checked out. The next day I went there to get my personal belongings. They were very nice to deal with. I sure appreciate the good job they do and how pleasant they were. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've heard lots of horror stories about towing companies. This one is a good one.

My husband got his truck towed in the early morning hours of New Year's Eve due to an apparent snow emergency declaration in Brooklyn Park. This newer questionable method of dealing with this law appears to be some kind of racket between the police department and the towing company. We parked on a fully plowed road (from curb to curb) in our townhome area so our driveway could get plowed by our association's plowing company after the snowfall. Going off of the info in an email I received directly from the city, it was our understanding that you could park on a fully plowed road until 2 am or risk being ticketed and/or towed. If the road wasn't plowed, you would have to be off the road by midnight. I went out to move the truck back into our driveway at approximately 1:50 am and discovered our truck was gone. At first I thought it had been stolen, but soon discovered it was towed by this company (Cardinal). Cardinal Towing has a 24 hour phone number, but does not physically open until 9 am to deal with getting your vehicle. I highly recommend going as soon as they open because we were unable to go until 11:30 am and it was packed. This place requires you to bring your vehicle title (copy is OK), driver's license, and proof of insurance to get it out (no exceptions). You also need a minimum of at least $205 in cash (no checks accepted and credit card policy is confusing). The process is extremely slow and a bit chaotic, as there was only one person helping with the paperwork and payments. Their lobby area is barely able to hold 5 people comfortably and we were stuffed inside with about a dozen people. It is not very accessible for anyone who is in a wheelchair or who would need to sit down. I should also note that the front parking lot for the business isn't very big, either. After waiting for about 1 1/2 hours, we were finally able to pay and get my husband's truck out of the lot. The person behind the counter was a bit gruff in demeanor, but was fairly reasonable. Another employee was wonderful and he helped people get papers or other needed items out of their vehicles from the backlot. He actually told my husband he felt the whole towing from the plowed road thing was overkill on top of a ticket. When my husband went out to his truck, he then discovered that we got a ticket from the police department that will cost us an additional $75-100 on top of the tow. The time of the ticket was around 12:30 am. If a snow emergency is declared where you are, I strongly suggest not parking on any roadways at all and going to a recommended parking lot instead. All in all our experience was mediocre at best and a harsh financial lesson.

I attempted 4-5 times each, to arrange a tow through two other smaller but well-reviewed towers. Neither ever picked up or returned my calls. Cardinal was less favorably reviewed. Which baffles me now. Why? They were immediately available, responsive, communicative, and reasonably priced. Truth from error: sometimes hard to discern. Should need arise again I will call Cardinal first.

Friendliest and most helpful bunch of guys. Got my car towed quickly. They arrived at the scene of the accident quickly, and promptly got my car up on the flat bed of the tow truck. The guys at the lot told me exactly where my car was, and moved a few cars around for me, so I could get my things out of my car. They even helped me get my license plate cover off. I am definitely keeping their number saved in my phone 100% recommend!

The worst experience I've had with any "business." The lady didnt know anything, was rude and not helpful. She hung up on me 3 times out of the 4 phone calls placed. The insurance company wanted to tow the vehicle to another lot but they would not allow me to get anything out of my vehicle without paying them over 200 dollars. People need their things before it gets towed half way across the state to some other lot to be reviewed by the insurance company but apparently their 18th century business model doesnt allow that. Oh by the way, cash only.

They are very unprofessional. I willl NEVER use them only as a last resort. They do not give accurate info. I had my DL/insurance card and they refused to id my car requesting tab info. Who the hell comes to a tow yard for a car that's been in an accident? Screwed up hours!!!! DO NOT USE THEM.

I called and the woman was friendly and set me up, said the truck would be to my house in a half hour and he showed up in 20 mins!! Thankyou CHAD!!! Awesome service and affordable price. I will use them again in the future if I need to. Quick painless process.

The tow truck driver just left my house and I couldn't have been more pleased! He was professional, courteous, and had a great sense of humor. He hooked my car up quickly, verified where it was to go...and was OFF! I haven't been disappointed with Cardinal before and I expect to refer them to others in the future. Kudos to a company who is keeping me as a happy customer. (To those people who gave Cardinal a bad rating, please consider towing insurance with your insurance company. That makes the decision to tow a lot easier to stomach!)

I just had my car towed, and I could not be happier. It took only a few minutes for the truck to arrive, and the guy who towed my car was professional and friendly; easily one of the nicest guys I done business with in a while. He was obviously good at his job and took it seriously, but he went above and beyond: -dropping my car at the dealership for repairs, he picked a parking spot that would make it easy for the repairmen to push the car into the garage. -My car is a convertible, and he thought to put the top up in case my car didn't get into the garage tonight. -Stopped loading my car and backed it up a little before continuing to avoid any chance of the fender scraping on the chain. Cardinal needs to hang on to the guy who towed my car tonight. He is a credit to his company and I'll call them next time I need a tow.
