LaMettry is a family-owner business and they treated me like family, too. When I needed a windshield replacement & recalibration they were very attentive, timely, professional, & they facilitated my insurance claim process. They also provided a loaner car while mine was being repaired so my regular schedule wasn't interrupted. I would absolutely recommend LaMettry to friends & family and am happy to return for service again in the future. A+ service!
LaMattry’s is the best! They restored my Trax to its pre-damaged condition and kept me up-to-date and informed throughout the process. It took a few weeks, but they told me what to expect and the results were extremely worth it. While I hope to not use them again (because auto collision), I would recommend them strongly to anyone and should I ever need autobody repair services in MN again, I’ll go to them.
I'm writing to thank Andy Quast's whole heartily, who helped to fix the problem for my car and brought the peace to me again. I just moved to this area weeks ago. I was dealing with challenges and felt frustrated until the day I drove to your shop and met Andy. Andy talked to me nicely and started working hard on my car with understanding of my expectation. I was completely shocked and wouldn't believe when he said it was no charge with the help. Who would ever believe such thing would even happen in this busy and business-oriented world!!! I was so touched and grateful, and there were no words would express my graduation towards the kindness and generosity this service offered to me! It was an unforgettable day! The sun was so bright and beautiful!

LaMettry’s is the place to go! (7/1/25) Braden was excellent to work with. Received updates and was notified that Amanda would take over notifying me. Communication was great. I originally had damage on the driver door that needed to be repainted due to paint cracking open. I trusted a local shop to do the work and ended up in a bad spot. Bad work and didn’t own up to it. Mistake on my part to go to that shop. So I came to LaMettry’s and got real professional eyes on it. They re-did all of the work and made my car look great! Even detailed the interior before returning the car to me. I will definitely return to this shop for body work. I have one more item I want to tackle in the future and I will be contacting them when I am ready.
Our family has counted on LaMettry’s for many years. Beyond amazing work, everyone there has always been friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. Oh, and they each clearly really enjoy what they do.

I recently visited LaMettry’s Collision in Bloomington for a repair. My experience was unfortunately not a positive one. After receiving an initial estimate and agreeing to the repairs, I went to drop off my vehicle, only for the manager to present a new, significantly higher estimate.
In addition to this unexpected increase, the staff member I interacted with was quite unfriendly. I also discovered a significant discrepancy between the rates charged to customers and those charged to insurance companies, and the additional charges were not clearly justified.
I sincerely hope LaMettry's management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve communication and transparency with their clients.
Very pleased with the quality of work snd communication from the shop. Amanda was awesome—timely, informed and thorough. She was always on top of the schedule and content of the work. My insurance adjusters were much less expert and certainly less responsive to me (and the shop) which is unfortunate. Can recommend Lamettrys whole heartedly.
Once again I was very impressed with the complete process at LaMettry’s. They worked with the insurance company to get the truck fixed, they were timely, got the parts ordered before I dropped it off so i could use the truck until they were ready. They talked with the dealer I bought the truck from to make sure all the details like the ceramic coat and rust protection were reapplied to maintain my warranty. Amanda, my contact at LaMettry’s, kept me up to date on what was happening, and they did an awesome job againing! Overall, very happy! Would definitely recommend!
Highly recommend this place if you need your car repaired. The front office workers and Mark, one of the managers were super helpful. Mark called me promptly every couple of days to give me updates and details on my car repair process. Everyone was friendly, thorough, and professional. And the outcome was very nicely done!
These folks are awesome! Amanda kept me informed each time there was an action on my claim. Ultimately though, my car was considered a total loss but my experience with LaMettry's made an unpleasant event just a little better.

LaMettry’s Collision was friendly and efficient in evaluating my car following an accident. They explained the process well, kept me updated on progress including engagement with insurance, and were accommodating to my needs. I will look to them in the future.
Lamettrys collision navigated everything throughout my repair, advocating on my behalf to make sure it was back to the original manufacturers specs, I chose to go with a non-direct repair facility that I trust, they are a certified shop for Toyota they worked directly with State Farm to make sure my vehicle was back to pre-accident condition, there were no cost out of packet whatsoever and there’s a lifetime warranty and all the workmanship and repairs that are done. I would refer Lamettrys and have used them for years for all my friends and family. The service is phenomenal and I know my family is back in a safe vehicle that was truly fixed properly and they’ve always stand by everything they do with integrity.
They were very friendly and helpful. They kept me posted by text on the progress of my repairs. When I picked up my car, They made arrangements to return my rental car for me.

LaMettry’s was extremely helpful. They were fast in getting an estimate back for me and my insurance. They were super flexible in letting me go clean out my after gettign it deemed a total loss. One of the workers even came out from doing his job to help me when my seat was stuck! Which he did not have to do. So i appreciate him doing that! Office staff was so friendly and made quick work of everything i needed! Hopefully i wont need them again but if i do ever- as someone not from the cities this is my new too place! I will forever trust them!!
Wow! What a Great experience through-in and throughout! I brought my pickup truck in for some body damage that was done by a different shop while getting new tires put on and Lamettrys in Bloomington, MN made the whole process very painless. I am very satisfied with the end results. They even detailed and shined up the truck, it looks Amazing. All is Well and I am leaving a very satisfied customer.
Everyone I spoke to was great. I personally worked with Ashley at the front desk and Kelli who worked behind the scenes was the person assisting me throughout the process; they both had excellent communication and I was updated throughout the whole process. When I arrived there were also 2 other very satisfied customers and we all agreed that they made our time here a breeze. It’s nice to see others who are just as satisfied as it just shows the dedication they are making to ensure that satisfactory work is being done for everyone!

Although my car was at LaMettry's for nearly 2 months with extensive repairs to be made, Amanda made this time seem negligible. Amanda gave me frequent and detailed messages via text even making sure to not text before a certain time since I work 3rd shift. The actual service done was very impressive considering the damages done and although it doesn't drive exactly how it did before the accident, the overall outside look of the car is that of a brand new car. I would highly recommend anyone to LaMettry's all-around professional service.
My car looks as good as it did when I bought it. LaMettry’s did an absolutely fabulous job. Stephanie, the Mercedes rep called me almost every day to give me updates on the status of my car. Not only did they do a beautiful job and make my car look good as new they also detailed the inside. I would highly recommend this company. They are amazing!!!!
Had my bmw vandalized with key scratches on both doors and my trunk, plus my driver window was also keyed. LaMettry’s Collision had my window fixed and also took care of the key marks on my car. Really happy with the results, paint looks fresh and good as new and I appreciate them washing and cleaning the inside as well. Everyone there was very nice and helpful, will definitely work with again.
