It was so nice to call in the to be able to get a same day appointment for an oil change and get my vehicle getbpicked up and dropped off at work. So convenient.
I've been bringing my vehicles to Bobby & Steve's for years, but typically the South MPLS location. I stopped at the Bloomington location as it's near my wife's workplace because her car was acting up in a way that I, in my extremely limited, but reasonable sense of car knowledge, could not diagnose, much less fix.
When describing the issue to the employee at the counter, a different employee, Joe, overheard my wife describing the problems she'd been noticing lately.
Without hesitation, Joe politely inquired more about the issue and the make/model of the car, and within 15 seconds, and with a great amount of care in making sure my wife and I weren't feeling condescended upon, explained a common issue and a VERY simple fix for the problem.
Joe took the time and energy to ensure that we weren't made to feel dumb or foolish for falling victim to a simple issue with an even simpler solution that we anticipated would cost us money we don't necessarily have. He offered peace in a typically anxiety-arousing situation for people who aren't as familiar with automotive care.
This free piece of advice that Joe offered is a nice reminder why I'm happy to spend my money with Bobby & Steve's when things actually do need a professional's touch.
Recommended to every body to shop and inspect on your car especially uber and Lyft and other transportation needed to stop this location faster, quicker at any other convenient store thanks guys how you help the community
Joe and their team are so great. They are always honest and upfront about what work needs to be done, or not be done. I had an odd error code and they went the extra mile to figure it out and repair the issue.
Bobby & Steve’s was an absolute life saver today. They were open on Sunday, and within 2 hours were able to diagnose a spark plug issue, acquire parts, and get us off on the road. Really kind and considerate staff.

I was at this place recently and they tried telling me I need a tranmission fix for $4000. I took it to another shop and it was a simple $80 fix. This place is highway robbery. They should be looked at by the attorney general and shut down.
Dropped my car off at 2pm, was told within 1 hour they would have a diagnosis of what the issue is. Well it got to the end of the day and nobody ever called, guess they are keeping my vehicle overnight… I called 10 min before closing and got the answering machine.

This review is only about your vacuum services. I and many other people frequent this location, but it appears that the employees responsible for servicing the vaccumes are either lazy and don't want to service the vacuums on a daily basis or there just simply isn't anyone to do it. People will drive out to your location Thinking they can use your vacuum, and then they're told it's out of service.
Today I showed up and one vacuum is out of service The other one was just full of quarters, and nobody wanted to come and clean it out when I asked. They just were willing to give me my quarterback which got stuck. That's just laziness. This is irritating for people who frequent this location. Please fix it. Have people out there to service the vacuum cleaners, it's really simple to do.
I got a flat. The gentleman working the desk was polite and got me in right away. The service was quick and excellent and they were constantly communicating with me. Excellent!

Every time I work with Bobby and Steve’s it’s an easy experience. I typically dreaded going to the mechanic like I dread going to the dentist, but that hasn’t been the case here. If you want good customer service and a mechanic who will solve your problems, go here.
When our vehicle broke down, AAA arranged a tow to Bobby & Steve's Auto World about 6:00 p.m. Staff texted at 6:20 a.m. that they would do diagnostics and inform us soon. About 9:15 a diagnosis was received. Repair began and was finished by 11:30(estimated time had been 4 hours). We were able to pay the bill and collect our auto and be on our way to SW MN. The vehicle is running very well. We appreciate the prompt attention to our needs.
These folks have been taking care of me and my family for years. First couple times they found low cost solutions I was surprised-
Now I’m used to it and love it- couple days ago I thought my power steering was cooked.
They smiled and told me it was just an s belt, when they could’ve just replaced the whole thing??

Chris at Bobby and Steve's was great. I had a mechanical issue on the way from Rochester to Fargo. We were making the trek so my daughter could start her freshman year at NDSU. The trouble started at 4pm on Friday, we where stranded on 494. Couple hours later we got towed to Bobby and Steve's. Chris was able to diagnose the trouble and his techs made the repair in less than 24hrs. They had us back on the road so we could get my daughter to college. 10 outta 10.

Yes, they work on your car here, do oil changes tire and battery, they have a towing service. Service. Inside they have a convenience store along with pre-made sandwiches and salads, coffee soda pop ice cream. About anything you could want, they have a deli counter. They make pizzas, and other food to order and have some food already made and ready to eat, but served hot.
They've got a fantastic car wash, and the pricing on their car wash is very reasonable for the quality.
I came in with a punctured tire at 7:00 on a Friday night. We were traveling through Minneapolis on our way to WI from IA. Joe and his team had our tire patched and us back on the road in a little over a half hour. Terrific service at a very reasonable price!
You guys are fabulous! The night my car broke down you were open until 9pm on a Friday night and you said the car can be towed in and the mechanic will diagnose it in the morning. I received a call right away Saturday morning and you had it repaired before noon! I can’t thank you guys enough.
Had a nice experience at this shop attending to my brakes issue. I booked my appointment online and was received and my issues were resolved. The problems were traced to my rotors. Got the fronting rotors and brakes replaced and my brakes fluid flushed and I got $50 off the total. Nice customer service and the agent that handled my business was very knowledgeable about the issue and also very courteous. I be back again.
We recently switched to Bobby and Steve's for our fleet vehicle maintenance. Just had our first van worked on here and I can't say enough good things about them. Our fleet rep was on top of things handled the request, when my tech dropped the van off there was zero questions as to why we were there. The van was fixed and dropped off within 4 hours of dropping off. And our rep even called to see if everything was done correctly and the experience had been what I had expected. Top notch shop!
On Memorial Day I needed to make an emergency trip out of town to care for my ailing grandmother. Unfortunately, one of my tires had a slow leak. I was able to schedule a last minute appointment and they took care of the issue quickly and completely. I highly recommend their services!
Jimmy and the rest of the guys are first class - stopped in Saturday just before close and attempted to fix a flat. Unable to fix i quickly realized not one shop in the area had the 24” tire I needed. Jimmy had my spare installed and ordered up the replacement tire. Said I could leave my rim and he’d take care of it with a call around noon Monday. Sure enough he called as promised and said to stop at my convenience to have it mounted. Anything not under dealer warranty is headed to Bobby and Steve’s no question- thanks
