Had an issue with the backup camera, radio, control center. Replacement of new unit was not worth the price on my 2007 Mercedes ML350. The mechanic and owner went above and beyond and eventually got the unit to work and did not charge more than estimate even though they put in extra time. Communication is excellent and appreciate how they do not pressure the customer to have work done from the list of items that they find when looking over the vehicle. Go to place for my Mercedes.
WARNING!!! A month and a half ago my finance brought vehicle to this shop. Originally brought it in because the battery kept dieing. They replaced the battery charged us 500$ for a battery that costed 150$ that I knew wasn’t the issue and I tried explaining that to them. Brought it back they fixed that issue. Our car was also over heating they fixed that as well. But we got the car back and the AC wasn’t working. We could not afford to get it looked at again we spent $2,000 with them. During all of this we where lied to and I felt like we where getting robbed. Now our serpentine belt is broken and our water pump is damaged. Stranded on the side of the road. We tried reporting them to the BBB a month ago but they are not apart of the BBB. Hoping to get some kind of help or our money back. I’ve heard from other people that they have had the same issues with them. Even people from our church. Only way I will take this post down is if they make it right. This is extremely unacceptable. I just hope posting this will at least stead people away from this shop.
Autopia is awesome. They repair my vehicle that needed a new alternator and a leaky vacuum hose within the same day, I dropped it off at 8am and it was ready by 2:45pm. This place has always been great at what they do.
Very friendly staff, and super helpful. I needed some urgent work done and they got my car back on the road in no time. I will definitely be bringing my other cars here. Highly recommend.
Autopia has always gone above and beyond for me. They offer loaner cars or shuttle services for when your car is in for a longer repair and you still have places to be. I had my heat fixed last winter because the tech was so tenacious about getting the fan to work. It looked like it would be a much bigger job, but they were able to get it done efficiently—leaving me and my wallet very happy.
I love Bloomington Autopia. It feels like working with family and I know I’m getting real answers and real recommendations. They are patient and willing to answer any questions I have.

Reached out to the shop after my car broke down on the way home from the store, managed to make it all the way home to discover my water pump went out. Had my box towed over and they promptly took a look at her, and confirmed it was the water pump as well as a few other things. Was able to pick my car up a few days later, no issues. Very pleased with the services I received and how kindly they worked with me given I couldnt take off work to come up there. Will absolutely take my car back here again.
I have a 97 Chevy with ignition issues which meant it would not start. After having it towed to a main dealer, who told me they don't work on old vehicles I finally got lucky! An employee recommended me to Autopia and told me he takes an old car there and got great service. He had called Autopia for me and arranged for them to work on my truck. It only to them a short time to figure out the ignition problems and fix them for me. They also checked the entire truck and sent a list of items that may need attention.
I had superb service from Autopia, who gave me clear, comprehensive answers,and were friendly throughout. I have now found. the quality repair shop I have been looking for for. many years and will have them take care of all my trucks needs. I can absolutely recommend them with no hesitation!
They were great! I have a used 2019 Mazda CX-+5 that needed The 50,000 scheduled service I couldn't get an appointment at a Mazda dealer before I had to take a 3,000 mile trip. I was worried I was going to get taken advantage of.
Autopia was awesome! No pressure to accept all the services and even went the extra step of working with me on the total cost. I didn't expect that level of respect from a non dealer shop.

offer loaner cars which is what all repair shops should do. Their portal gave a full breakdown on what they found wrong and the estimate before continuing with the repair. Their service is top notch since they dont just call they also text you and I appreciate that very much. The whole staff is friendly and sincere. I highly recommend them for auto service needs.

The service was excellent and I left with a new battery…which was my reason for coming in. The complimentary car wash is always welcome. However, I didn’t expect to pay $90 for an inspection.
I needed emergency help w a dead battery. I was given a ride to work by this company and my card was checked out on several things. I was able to get the battery taken care of and picked up my car after work.
Autopia provided great service and diagnosis. I replaced my spark plugs and boots 10,000 miles ago. Turns out Autozone sold me on some spark plug boots that were not actually compatible with my vehicle that I didnt have the experience to recognize. This caused corrosion and eventual misfires. Autopia recognized this, and gave me an accurate diagnosis and fix to resolve my engine misfires. Probably much more expensive than other places, but they do make up for it with service. They have a taxi service that can drive you do and from the shop as well as loaner vehicles that I was easily able to utilize. 5 star for Autopia, 1 star for Autozone.
Quick and professional. They have an easy to use system for identifying potentially needed repairs which also allows for approving or denying the suggested repairs. I like this because I can do my own research and come to a decision without feeling like a sales pitch is being made to me.
I was having car issues and they took very good care of my car and I! My problems were quickly sorted out and fixed the same day. Their expertise and hospitality took away all of my anxiety and made the process so much easier. I'm very greatful. My car runs perfectly.
My 2005 Dodge Grand caravan SXT cv axle went out, and these guys did an excellent job replacing it within 48 hours. I live over 100 miles away, and was worried leaving it there because other shops tried to basically keep my vehicle and not even look at it. Trustworthy serve, quick and professional work. Thank you. They also worked on another hoopty without giving me a hard time with over 300,000 miles on it. Good people.

I have a very hard time trusting mechanics. I didn't trust Autopia at first either. Over the course of the past year, they have serviced two work vans (I don't treat my work vans the best), and my personal ram 1500. EVERY time they have spelled out for me everything from what NEEDS to be done, to what would be a good idea to get done. There has been two times when I feel they have went FAR BEYOND the scope of what one would expect. They are not the cheapest place in town. But they are the only ones I actually trust with my vehicles.
I’ve had my GTI serviced here a few times and they’ve always took care of my needs. I also had a chance to meet Nick the owner, he’s a great guy with a ton of knowledge and experience. I’ll be back in the future, keep up the good work everyone!
My Tesla's controller arm broke last week and I managed to pull the car into a parking lot next door to Autopia in Bloomington. It was one of the hottest days of the summer, and, while I waited for a tow truck and dealt with the day's messy challenges, Will at Autopia was very gracious to let me handle everything from within their air conditioned office. Even though I didn't use Autopia for the repair (it was still under my Tesla warranty - thus, I was obligated to use the dealer), I have to say that once my warranty expires, I will definitely take my car to Autopia for regular maintenance. The example they showed in my hour of need, told me exactly what kind of people they are. I recommend them highly simply based on the way they treated me. I never forget a kindness. At MN Detail, we recently had a fantastic experience working with Autopia in Bloomington, MN. We had the pleasure of talking shop with both Will and Nick. Will's friendly and knowledgeable demeanor made the initial contact very smooth, and we appreciated his willingness to chat about our detailing services. Nick's communication was excellent – he promptly followed up after our conversation and scheduled a detailing service for a Volkswagen EOS.
The VW itself was in mildly soiled condition, as expected for a car getting prepped for sale. It was actually exciting to see it on their lot the very next day, listed for sale! We especially enjoyed the challenge of transforming the back seat – a common area that often needs some TLC.

Awesome job team! Mike the master technician converted my front drum brakes to disc brakes on my classic car. Nick & Eric at the front desk did a great job with keeping me in the loop on the progress. I’ll be back next time I need some work done.
