A great resource for those of us living in hennepin county to get rid of things like batteries, electronics, paint, etc. Pretty easy to get in and out. Usually the line of cars isn't too long.

Had the tiniest amount of recycling stuff from my office and they were so anal about me recycling it. I guess target could take it.

Love how i scheduled a green bag pick up, read all the details on acceptable items, just to receive an email cancellation because the straps didn't touch. Received $60 fee and when I called asking to schedule a new pick up without the fee, the representative sat a read off the “full” disclosure page that I admit, I didn’t open. When I admitted to only reading the initial disclosures, it was my mistake for not opening and reading pages of fine print, she refused to refund the fee. I will not be moving forward with another pick up as now I don’t trust this company.

Easy way to get rid of oil and fluorescent lights. Easy just drive in and they grabbed the stuff out of the car for you. A lot of stuff is free. I think I paid three dollars per tire, which is more than fair.

This is the place to take items-such as old paint-to be recycled! Fast, convenient and super friendly and helpful staff!

Quick, easy, safe drive thru service. Convenient. And, they have a distribution corner for household cleaning products. A+++! 5*’s!!

Very argumentative attendant working the booth. Pointed out an error on their website, not her fault. She didn't create the website. But I asked nicely if she could pass it up the chain to be fixed. Instead, she made fun of me for misinterpreting what she thought to be correct. Hopefully, the county can give her some customer service training. A government job isn't an excuse to be rude.

A great service to have. I just wish I could remember that they are closed on Mondays. (But open limited hours on Saturday.)

Great experience dropping off lots of old house paint. The staff were very friendly, helpful and fast.

Super quick and easy! I dropped off four computer monitors and some batteries, and the whole process was smooth. The staff was friendly and efficient, making it a great experience overall. Highly recommended for hassle-free recycling!!

The guy trying to direct traffic was rude pointing to no specific lane and saying "that lane". And sound like the equipment used is substandard if it can't handle a cardboard that a little wet. Guess I will just continue to fill up regular garbage

Mike and Mike and the rest of the crew were helpful and friendly, in addition to being efficient. I always learn something new when I go there. I appreciate that I can bring waste there that doesn't belong in the trash. They make it very easy to do!

Super quick and easy. I had alot of half full paint cans. They took them all out of the bed of my truck for me. Drive thru.

This place provides a great service to the community, and they are always very friendly and welcoming. Avoid the fine for putting electronics in your trash, come here instead! Very easy and quick drive-thru. They'll even take the items out of the back of your car.

It sucks that Hennepin County charges county residents $15 to recycle a single microwave oven, but, I get it that the people that work here don’t set those fees. This is an easy drive in facility that seems well-staffed enough to help you unload if you needed that accommodation.

Woman at the check in before you go in, Wednesday June 7th at 2pm is EXTREMELY rude and short. I only asked a couple reasonable questions and I got rude comebacks and a loud sigh out from her. This woman really should be let go if she hates her job THAT much. I seriously cannot believe how rude she was, otherwise the people helping unload the car were very kind and helpful, it’s unfortunate they have to work with her. It was honestly almost impressive someone could be so upset when all they do is answer questions and swipe a card, I guess the trash queen is having a rough day.

Used this place in the past and it was great…. Now there’s so many restrictions this place is pointless. Came in with cardboard boxes and plastic bags and was turned away because we had too much volume. Asked how much they could take and the head guy on the floor said they either had to take all of it or none of it. Very stand off-ish. So much for a public service.

Wow I've never been treated so poorly for doing the right thing. I've been recycling there for many years and there's a few guys there that are not happy and put that on others. Very disappointed. They should be helpful on educating proper recycling to others instead of plane rude. I didn't know you couldn't recycle 10gallons of oil at one time. But made it like I was doing something bad for that and did help to solve an issue.

Great experience here! Showed up with a trailer load of cardboard. Was immediately helped by several employees to unload it. The bottom of the pile had been snowed on and I was told they couldn't accept it. Understandable. The employees went above and beyond to dig through and take what they COULD accept and then one man told me about a place that would take the rest of my material. Super thankful for all of their help. Will be back with more (dry!) cardboard!

Great experience!!! Mike and his team were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We have lived in our house for over 20 years and finally got around to cleaning out the garage. Brought a whole SUV full of assorted chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, fixtures, electronic parts, etc. Helped us get it all processed quickly and easily. Excellent team work. Couldn't be more satisfied.

They said they wouldn't take paint, stain materials even though there website says they accept those items. They were rude and said I was wrong. I asked several times to take the paint, and they said they never accepted paint or stain.i have brought paint there several times in the past. Again I referred to the website and I was told to go to Dakota county when I live in hennipen county. I will be writing a letter and email concerning this problem not only did they waste my time, they were rude condescending, and we're obviously not trained on what items they were able to accept. They have one job, and obviously they can't even do that. I will ask to speak to a supervisor next time.

They staff was excellent. They helped me unload a good sized home improvement load. I was in and out quickly, within 10 minutes. They were friendly and went above to help. My load was only cardboard.

Friendly service. Can answer most questions. I am fortunate to be able to donate my old lawn mower but tried twice and learned all the rubber (tires), the gas and oil tanks (empty of corse, had to be removed as they were plastic. Thanks to my son Dan Olson from Bloomington, we took it all apart and still were able to recycle most of it. Wish those tires didn’t have to be dumped in our garbage. Thanks for the crew for educating me.

Had to throw away some of the previous homeowners junk (curtain rods, metal scraps, paint, etc). I was so pleased with the process and the service I was given! It was smooth sailing as I pulled up, showed my I.D. and drove in. I had 3 gentlemen help with taking stuff out of my car and they brought it all away quickly and were nice to chat with! Will definitely be coming here to throw/recycle other items in the future! Thank you for your hard work!

Not a friendly place to say the least. When you come in, the first thing you see is a sign telling you that you commit a felony if you drop something off outside of their business hours. Nice greeting, huh? Then the gal in the little hut at the entrance demands to see your driver's license, otherwise you don't get in. Not sure what that has to do with recycling a few pots of old paint and dead batteries... Once inside, a surly gal asks us why we are dropping off several cartons of cat 5 cable. Well, that's what we had left after wiring our entire home. We had clearly overbought, but that stuff still has recycling value, so we thought these folks would be happy to accept our items. A few other employees surround us now and lecture us on how things are done at this place. Can't accept anything from a business, the first lady sniffed (never mind that everything we brought was from our house, not our business). Another guy puts back several pots of paint in our vehicle, without explanation. When asked for a reason, he said that pots with dried out paint should just be tossed into the garbage. Okayyyy, Sir. Of course, no thank you, no good bye. So here is the bottom line. This appears to be a clean, modern facility, but the people are badly in need of a course in customer relations. Actually a basic course in courtesy and good manners would suffice. Why is this important? If we are serious about keeping life on our planet sustainable, recycling is absolutely essential. Recycling cannot be strictly enforced. Thus to be effective, it is important to make it as easy to recycle as possible. And this was NOT a pleasant experience. I have better things to do on a Saturday afternoon than to load my SUV with recycling matter, and drive 28 miles to this place, only to be threatened with felonies at the entrance, and treated so shabbily by the staff. This place sucks. I wonder how many other people just won't come back as they should, and just throw their recyclable material in the garbage, when you make things this difficult...

Such a great place to have in the community! They make it very easy to recycle and dispose of materials without unnecessarily polluting Mother Earth! The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. It is free to dropoff most items if you live in Hennepin County. Some items, such as appliances, electronics, etc have small fees (+/- $10). You don't ever have to leave your vehicles as you get to drive-in and they unload whatever it is for you.
