I had a vehicle stall on the side of a highway, unfortunately during a snowstorm. I could not get any company to tow the car home that night. Finally the next day a company could tow it, but by the time the company got to the location it was gone. State police had it towed, which Marek had picked up. Things happen, I get it and understand. I called Marek, they were friendly on the phone, and to get it out of the lot they told me $273. After considering all the expenses to get the car home and fix it, I called Marek back and asked if I could surrender the car to them. They said sure, and we will knock $100 off the recovery fee. Mind you the car was not in an accident, just needed an alternator to get it running again, or could have scrapped it to recover any cost and then some. I asked if they would just take it and let me get my stuff out of the car and not charge me, they said no we won't do that. So I bit the bullet went in to pay to get it out, they said the total was $285. I told him when I called they said $273, he said well it's $285. Okay whatever, handed him my card. The gentleman behind the counter said, "oh, there's a 3% CC fee as well". I paid, hoping for no more surprises. I get it they are a business and they have to eat too, but this is taking advantage of people. Luckily I have the means to pay for the inconvenience, but what if I didn't? The company profits on people with little to no control of situations, and exploits you still if you want to surrender your car, cut your losses, and they would still make money. I was never disrespectful over the phone or in the shop when I was paying. I was not being a Kevin, just another person trying to make it day to day. Family owned, nice people, but poor ethics in my opinion.
Ever have one of those "Why didn't I do this earlier" moments? I had a slow leak in my tire for a few weeks, adding a few lbs of air each time I got gas. Not super inconvenient, but definitely not enjoyable when its freezing outside.... so I finally stopped by Marek's to have them patch the tire. It took them less time to patch the tire than it did for me to complete an online grocery order. I wish I had done that weeks ago! Thanks Marek's for making life easier!
This place is one of the best in the Midwest. My mom’s van broke down in the middle of the highway and they came pretty quick. I met Devan, the coolest and most genuine person I’ve met. We vibed right away and he took good care of me through out the whole ride from one auto shop to a Honda dealership and got to know each other and had a great experience. Definitely will recommend Marek’s Towing to anyone and especially Evan the man! I barely knew him but felt like we known each other for awhile. Top notch service and all the above. Evan was absolutely great to work with, I got two flats after running over debris in the road and he was efficient, friendly and professional. I would request him again if I needed towing service in the future.
Evan from Marek's Towing gave me the best service i've ever had from a towing company or any other company. After a horrendous day , I found myself in a ditch , and he miraculously pulled me out. He was kind and understanding and worked quickly and efficiently. It was a scary experience when he was just wonderful. I will use mark in any circumstance I need help and will always request Evan.
I brought my car in for a break replacement sue to my car squealing when i came to a stop and was told I could pick my car up the same day. I was then told it wouldn't be ready until the next day. Come the next day im told they replaced my rear right caliper and that the cost would be 3 grand. If it weren't for my father I would have been screwed. Now less than a month later my car is squealing again. Very shady and poor customer service. I feel totally scammed by their "repair"
Early one weekday morning, my water pump failed on I-35S heading for Florida. I called Marek's and they were there immediately with a tow and a promise to look at my truck right away. They towed my truck, got the water pump replaced and I was back on the road in a few hours. Great guys, great work and honest dealing from guys that really wanted to help. A+++

In the middle of the night, they towed my daughter‘s car off of a bridge on 35E last night. The tow truck driver was amazing, professional and courteous. Dropped it off at the location I requested. Put the key and a note in the dealer lock box so it was all checked in for service when I called the next morning. I can’t say enough good things about him. And the price was very very fair.
Great service for towing! I called from out of town for my daughter's broken down car in Lakeville on a Friday night at 6:30PM. Marek's was there within 10 minutes to tow it away. Pricing was very reasonable and Duane helped with suggestions for this out of towner for a reputable transmission place. Highly recommend!

Extremely overpriced. I told the mechanic how much I was charged and he couldn’t believe it. No discount when they change the ETA on you. Barely an apology.
This was the first time I needed a tow truck, but if and when it happens again, I will go elsewhere and encourage friends and family to do the same.
Amazing service. Truck broke a suspension piece less than a mile down the road from their shop and they were there in less than 10 minutes. Driver was nothing short of polite, helpful, and reassuring. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
I broke down right across from Mareks on 35 right at closing time. The driver was professional and courteous. Duane repaired my vehicle the following day at a fair price. I’d recommend them.
Called for a tow when my car wouldn't start. Long story short, the driver was able to get it started and save me the tow charge. I followed him back to the shop and had a new battery installed. The whole process took less than 45 minutes. I unfortunately didn't get the driver's name, but he saved me some money and provided great customer service.
Heading back to Kansas after great vacation. Got a flat tire about 15 miles south of Minneapolis. Found Marek's on the web, called, gave us time and cost. They showed up quickly, took our van to a tire shop then dropped us off at a motel across the street. Great service and good price. Would recommend them to anyone.
I called for a tow for the following morning. I sent a few photos of the truck that was stuck in the mud. ( 20,000 lbs drilling rig) The gentleman called me back after I sent the pictures and said he could get to it that evening. My truck was out of the mud in a matter of minutes. Props to these folks!
Marek’s towing was great all around and I would highly recommend them! An axel snapped on my work trailer and I needed a flat bed to tow it. They had a crew there in less than 15 minutes, took excellent care loading and delivering it to the shop I requested. Thank you again!
Got to me within 20 minutes of placing the call. Driver offered to drop the keys off at the auto shop so I didn't need to waste my time. Much appreciated. Will use again. Didn't get drivers name but on my slip it said CM38. He was great hope that tells the company enough to know who it was.
Awesome service at 3 am in The snow. We hit a tire rim in the middle of the road, and our roadside assistance didn't help after over an hour of waiting. So we took a chance and called marek. He got there faster than he told us he could, fixed it quickly, and charged us a very fair price. And was very pleasant and easy to work with. Appreciated this company's help and compassion in what seemed to be a hopeless situation.
100% impressed. This evening, as I went to pick up my kids from school, my car stalled on the way home. I had the flu, and we had two dogs in the car, as well as two kids and all of their school gear. My roadside assistance was of minimal help in locating support, yet I found Marek's towing on Google, we notified roadside assistance, and they were able to take the call. Roadside assistance told us it would be an hour and a half minimum wait, which was confirmed by Marek's, yet they suddenly showed up in less than 10 minutes because of their flexibility in route and understanding of our situation. Super grateful and highly recommended! John was professional, courteous and extremely helpful.
I have used Marek's Towing numerous times for both towing and repair. They have been a real life saver more than once. They were upfront about pricing on the phone and the bill was as I expected it to be. They were clean, pleasant and helpful, even recommending a great body shop for my vehicle. Most of all, they made me feel safe and secure when we needed a tow when my young child was with. We were in a semi-serious accident and everyone was pretty shaken up, they made us feel comfortable and helped as much as they could to get us one our way. The driver also explained to us what we needed to do to help move along the process to getting my car fixed up faster. I would recommend them to anyone and often do!
It was late at night and my son was on the side of the road with a flat tire. I was three states away feeling helpless. Marek's was amazing! They towed his vehicle, had a new tire on it by 8 a.m. and the price was more than reasonable! He didn't miss any work and was on the road in no time.
