This place is a blast for bikers and paddlers alike. I go every year with a kayaking group for a week or more. We camp, but there is plenty of rental places around if you book early. Weekends are busy, so I like the weekdays best of all.

Amazing trail system! Can’t say enough good things. As a fairly novice biker, I found plenty of trails suitable for my skill level. Lots of fun and beautiful scenery.

Absolute blast! Family friendly or solo, Cuyuna will have it for you. Enjoy the endless single track trails for all levels. Don’t like mt biking? Get out on the paved trails in and around the park that will lead you to Crosby/Ironton to enjoy some food and a cold one. Numerous lakes to kayak, canoe and swim as well. Lots of Places to relax and just enjoy being outdoors.

Love the bike trails here and they have trails for all levels. Almost all trails are one-way and are machine built. The town of Crosby near by is a nice small town to stop at and have great bike rental places if you don’t have your own bike or want to try a different style of MTB. Wish I had more pictures of the trails but it doesn’t really matter you just have to go.

My favorite mountain biking trails in the whole state of Minnesota. Lots of challenging, fun, exciting trails, and also plenty of more mellow trails. Distributed over four clusters of trails, the Mahnomen and Yawkey clusters also have swimming beaches. Kayaking on the lakes is also very nice, scenic. Beautiful scenery! The mountain biking trails have excellent drainage due to the rocky soil so they are generally rideable within a couple hours of a heavy rain.

Had the best time ever. I am from Nebraska so don't get much mtn bike practice on technical trails. For me this is the perfect place to ride not a ton of climbing but lots of option of fast flowing routes. I rode most all of the green trails and about 50% of the blue trails. Even the blue trails weren't very technical or rocky in this section. I will be back.

The Cayana trails are awesome. I didn't ride anything too advanced, but the trails I rode were challenging (for me) and very fun. I stayed in Crosby where you can ride right onto the trails. Definitely going back.

This place is awesome. Definitely a young, fit person's playground unless you have an E-Bike. Put on 29 miles on the trails. Was a blast.

This Mountain bike park is far superior to anything else I have seen in the state. Great job builders, keep it up! I look forward to my annual trip here every year.

The trails at Cuyuna are great for beginners, each offering beautiful views of the many mine lakes. A perfect trip for families and kids. The surrounding towns also have good food and a cute local vibe.

This trail system is fantastic. Plenty of options for all skill levels. A place you can ride all day! Plenty of spots to picnic as well. Bring a swimsuit for a quick swim in the lakes too.

Some really great riding in Minnesota. Some of the trails were closed when we were there so we are looking forward to a return trip in June. Very easy climbing and good fast flowy runs. Just don’t wear anything that you worried about as the shred the red comment holds true. Well worth the trip

Love this place! Great mountain bike trails. Had a lot of fun on the downward part of sandhog mountain, chute, rolly polly, and bobsled. Recommend trying those.

Some of the best riding I've ever had. Fantastic. Can not recommend enough. That said, put on your climbing shoes... you'll need them. 15 miles gave us 1000+ of elevation gain

Actually had a hard time finding the "main trial." We ended up just going on small loops all over. Maybe that was just our stupidity. Look the map over well before! Other than that trails were great and well kept, biggest jumps we've seen in all MN.

If Cuyuna isn't the best Mountain biking spot in the state, it's one of the best. Even better, it's so well designed that it doesn't suffer the constant closings that many of the twin cities trails are plagued with. The general rule at Cuyuna is "if the parking lot is dry, it's good to ride". One of my recent trips, it started to sprinkle as I was finishing up. Very few spots even got wet and anything that hit the trail soak right up. In general there is an easy trail (be cautious because this will be difficult for beginners) and there are a series of medium to hard trails. Most of those are designed so there is very short, somewhat hard climb followed by long flowy rollers. They are very fun. The park has changing areas, toilets, water, maps, picnic area, bike tool station, swimming beach for cleaning off after. I always finish my be riding over to the Yawley Area and riding Bobsled. Super fun 10 min ride. Lastly this is a state Recreation area so if you don't have a state park pass, you need to buy a day pass.

These trails are amazing and they are adding more soon! Can't say enough good things about this place. Red Rider was a nice place to stay at as well. Beaufort scenery, excellent experience. Locals are all very nice too

A must for any mountain biker in Minnesota! Trails are dry within 2 hours of rain and there is more variety in terrain here than anywhere else in MN! Local camping, canoeing, kayaking, a brewery, bike shops, coffee shops, are all supported by the trail system. Go and check it out! Spend a few days, or a week.
