Hands down the best automotive shop in the area. Derek has come to the rescue twice now and, although it's inconvenient to have a dead truck, Autosmith made the process easy and stress free. Derek is very communicative and punctual. If you're broken down and need a tow, call Autosmith and have them tow it to their shop. I had it towed at 3:45 pm and they called after identifying the problem and provided the solution. Turn around time is always quick.
Can't say enough about the team at AutoSmith in Ironton. My wife and I were driving to the Cities from International Falls and had car problems. We limped into AutoSmiths and were told they had a skeleton crew that day. But within a minute someone was looking at our car and within ten it was diagnosed and a new battery had arrived. We were in and out in less than an hour. It ended up being just a battery but they could have easily told us they didn't have time.
I didn't expect this hospitality for someone who lives 100 miles away, but they provided it anyway. Locals are lucky to have such a great crew at their shop!
They were very friendly notified me when changed was happening and they were completely 100% in the ballpark with a couple other garages that I checked out just to make sure so I have no fear to take your car there it'll get done right.
Zack and the auto smith team are spectacular. I called for same day service for tire repair, they went above and beyond, offered pickup and drop off for my working daughter (who only has one car) all over the phone and super quick! Spectacular service!!! 10 out of 10!!!

I wish your tech could have cross checked to see if I had the correct parts before wasting my time and money to find out the headlamps (I provided) were not the correct ones for my vehicle. Hind sight. Your time is valuable and you got paid. Maybe someone would like to put in a little time to find the correct assemblies for me. No hurry, only if you have "free" time. Don't worry, the company I bought them from also got an ear full for the role they had in this non productive adventure. Lesson learned. I will keep saving up for the correct parts and labor to try again some day in the future. Not mad, just sad?.
As a customer i have had nothing but the best experience! I get treated with a smile as me what service i need and it just gets done. Prices are fair service is fast.
My tire went flat on the side of the road on my way to work one morning. I had AAA tow it and it got towed to AutoSmith. They not only towed my car but also were able to replace my tire and have it ready for pick up same day when I was done with work. I’m so happy with everything they did for me
Service on 1996 Itasca Sunrise. Timely service and conversation about a list of things that need to be reviewed from prior service.
Appreciate the work done and will return. It is becoming more difficult to find routine service on older vehicles.

Getting ready for our semiannual drive from Brainerd Lake area on Minnesota to Arizona.
Appreciate AutoSmith-Ironton for consistently high quality service on older RV/MH and tow vehicle.
Had radiator issues on 1996 Sunrise and significant cost for top piece to burp tank.
$300.00+ Few still available. First attempt worked for few days and weld failed.
AutoSmith did the repeated repair and ordered replacement without added charge.
10 out of 10! From the initial phone call requesting a tow to the driver of the tow truck, I would 100% recommend using this company! Kaleb the tow truck driver was considerate, professional, knowledgeable and kind!

Very accommodating! I forgot my appointment but they still got me in later that day. Work was done as promised. Everything was neat and clean and returned to me exactly as I left it.
Amazing customer service! I had a flat tire and they were able to get me in and fixed up the same day. I now go to them for my regular maintenance and have had the same positive experiences.
My friends and I were visiting from Wisconsin for Memorial weekend when I realized my brakes were in much worse condition than I thought (whoops...). Aaron and Zac (?) were able to take my car in last minute on that Tuesday and got my brakes ready for the drive home the same day. Everyone in the office was incredibly helpful, and they got the job done before we even finished breakfast in town. So appreciative of their time and work, I don't think I would've made it home safely without it!
Staff goes above and beyond your standard oil change. 32 point inspection included with standard oil change. Had a couple items needing found needing attention. Staff was eager to please by calling extended auto warranty to see if covered. Very personable and remembered issues mentioned from over a year ago and the remedy we worked together on. Highly recommend!
Finally got my truck back had a lot of problems with it but they got it fixed now. Hopefully it stays running and I’ll be happy as I can be. They did everything they could to get it done right They really do try to make the customer happy so I give him five stars hopefully I won’t see him for a while thanks guys
I had an appointment for an alignment on my Super Duty since I just put new tires on it. They found worn parts in the ball joints which wouldn’t allow a correct alignment. I know for a fact that they were correct because I’ve always repaired my own truck but I don’t want to do that anymore. They gave me a quote for the work and did the repairs and alignment. The final bill was $200 Les than the quote. I would have paid the quote and not thought anything about it. Thanks for being honest Auto Smith.
My truck broke down, and I called roadside assistance, they contacted AutoSmith. Within 30 minutes, my truck was loaded up and on the way to the dealer. Shawn was very helpful and curtious, I can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely use their service again. Thank you Shawn!
Locked our keys in our vehicle. Kaleb got there when he said he would and got the van unlocked fast. Did careful efficient work and made sure we didn’t need a jump before leaving. I’m grateful for the speedy help.
I called roadside assistance as a last resort and was anticipating I would need to wait at least an hour due to the weather, but they showed up within about 10 minutes and had me out of the snow within about 5 minutes!
These guys saved us twice in one day! As we were heading out to go kayaking, we found a screw in our tire and they fixed it for us even though they were actually closed. Then, after kayaking, the truck's battery died on the boat launch and they came out and jumped us. They're the best!
