Mary and Chris provide excellent service every time I bring my vehicles to Near Me. They are friendly, knowledgeable and honest about what needs to be repaired.
This place is great. Worked with me on electric power steering issue and went with there advice saving me big. Also notified me of rear brakes reaching their end. And did an oil change all in about 6 hours. I will give them my business from now on.
This is THE MOST HONEST repair shop you will ever take your vehicle to! They try and save you money by giving you choices- not just replacing everything and giving you a big bill! Mary and Chris are hometown people who know if you bring in an older car, that we're just trying to get a few more months out of it or if you bring in a newer truck, to tell you what to do to make it last!! They even help us backyard mechanics on how to do things. I can't say enough good things about these people and this shop! You will NOT be disappointed!
Mary and Chris are second to none. After being quoted an astronomical amount at a dealership, Mary was able to locate the parts needed and save me fifty percent. Not only did they save me money on parts/labor, they provided a loaner vehicle for free, saving an additional 250/ wk. Mary kept the communication going and Chris does great work. Will be going back. Highly recommend. They will treat you like they want to be treated.
I started having trouble with my car and I called up right away and talked with Mary. She was able to get me in at a great time! They fixed my car and sent me on my way! I couldn’t have asked for a better service! I’ve been to so many other shops and they give the the entire run around! These guys are straight to the point and get your car done in good timing! After repeated bad experiences with a dealership. It was extremely nice to bring our car into Near-ME. The service goes above and beyond my expectations. Mary and Chris are amazing! After getting nowhere with the service department at the dealership, being overcharged, and then getting the car back worse that when we first brought it there - Mary got us in quick and Near-Me fixed the issue for 66% LESS then what the dealership was going to charge us. I'm not very car-savvy, but Mary was very patient and explained the issue very clearly. They really gave us peace of mind with our issue and addressed the problem quickly. Thank you Mary and Chris for everything you do!
Always explained every detail of work done. Honest and upfront with time/cost estimate of repairs. Used quality parts and quality work on our vehicles. If my vehicles need repairs in the future, I'll be back!

We are a summer camp located nearby. I needed emergency help switching a trailer hitch ball from one hitch to another. Without that help, I would have been in a world of hurt trying to get canoes transported today.
It took the mechanic about 30 seconds to do it, and literally saved my day.
Most other places would have required an appointment, but the guy here was very accomodating.
Seems like a small thing but it was huge to me.

I spoke with who I think may have been the owner and she was beyond great. She listened to me ramble on about my piece of junk truck and gave me honest advice. It is not often that you get to speak with a woman at a car place however that was even more refreshing! I highly recommend this place she also fixed brothers car and it's working great!
Mary is amazing. I was so stressed about a possible unexpected issue with our van. She was able to get us on the schedule quickly and save me a whole lot of stress as well as an undisclosed amount for an unnecessary repair. They are wonderful people who actually care about their costumers. I will be recommending them to everyone and will never go anywhere else.

Near-me Auto is a great honest auto shop. I have been struggling with my check engine light being on for a few years for numerous reasons, every time I brought it to Forest Lake Chevy they never found the actual issue but continued to tell me what they thought was the issue.....causing me unnecessary repairs and wasting MANY hours of my time. I brought my car to Near-me Auto and they actual diagnosed my car (didn’t just read the codes) and solved my issue!!!! Honest company, very reasonable prices and overall you can feel that they actual care about their customers. I highly recommend anyone to use Near-me Auto for their vehicle maintenance-you won’t be disappointed!
Took my car to Mary, they diagnosed the issue and i came two days later and got the issue fixed. Great coffee and snacks available while you wait for the shop to fix your car.
Arrived a bit earlier than scheduled time but got in right away! Professional, quick, and super great prices! Also so kind and genuine. Brought my dog with and just hung out and chatted while waiting for my car to be done :) super fabulous place! Using them for all my car needs from here on out!
I am so happy to have found Mary and Chris! They were honest about what needed to be done and what things could wait a little longer. Chris came in and talked with us and explained what was going on in detail and answered any questions we had. He was not in a hurry or short with us at all. They were able to get our van in right away and was done in a couple of days. Mary even came to my house to pick me up so I could pick up my van. Top notch service! Will never go elsewhere!
They replaced my transmission on 08 Sentra 6 months ago and I had it there recently for tie rods. Quality would for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!
