After traveling from Maryland and having 4 tires on our airstream that were mismatched (age and manufacturer) 2 flats on the way and no spare, we researched what shop was closest to our next overnight stay. Chris Nornberg’s was the place that came up and had good reviews. After contacting a staff member we made an appointment for Friday Morning at 10:00 and made sure they had 4 appropriate tires for our rig. I backed it up into their large work bay at 10 AM and they jumped right on it as soon as my wheels stopped. 4 new tires on four rims mounted and balanced and the newest of our old tires mounted and balanced on a spare rim. PAID FOR AND OUT THE DOOR IN 37 MINUTES! It was like having our own professional pit crew. I had the pleasure of watching them perform the work and I know it was done fast but correctly. I know because I’ve done it myself. All the staff was pleasant and professional. The pricing was fair and up front. I highly recommend this business for any car care or RV needs!
Had a road emergency recently and pulled into Nornberg's with what I thought was a blown front hub. They ordered the part, and juggled their schedule to fit me in. Turns out it was a broken spring on the left front. The crew worked hard to get me back on the road, with a temporary fix that got me on my fishing trip. and back home safely. A HUGE thank you to all who helped me out!
I was driving at our cabin in Longville when we hit an enormous pothole on the gravel road and clearly broke something. We didn’t know what to do as this was our only vehicle and we had to be back in the Twin Cities the next day. We called Chris Nornberg Automotive based on reviews and they totally saved us. They got us in within a half hour, diagnosed the problem, and although they didn’t have the replacement part, they were able to make the truck safe and drivable while I waited.<br><br>Incredible customer service!
I had a major issue with one of the wheels on my boat trailer. I was taking kids fishing for a derby the next day and they dropped everything to get me back on the road quickly and safely! Great work and great people who really know what they're doing!
Terrible. They have general knowledge to do oil changes and thats about it. They installed a new engine and replaced power steering when it was owned by girl friend. Not even 5k miles put on it and power steering hoses leaked everywhere. I fixed. But Not even 15k miles and the im forced to redo the water pump because nornbergs must not know what gaskets are. Decided rtv was enough. And all the hoses were practically gorilla glued on. Very unimpressed. Would not even let them change a battery in my vehicle at this point.
They are amazing! Not only did they change the oil on my van at a fair price, they helped me the next day when my battery was loose so my van would not start. Honest people with fair prices. I will continue to bring my vehicles here when I am in the area.
My dad's old suburban had the check brakes light come on, so we brought it in to make sure nothing disastrous would happen. Turns out it was a simple fix, and we didn't get charged at all! Thank you so much!
I had Outboard motor problems, and a local recommended Nornberg. (One of their mechanics had worked at Longville Lakes Marine.) He was able to get my old motor running smoothly and at a reasonable price. Very pleasant people to work with.
I was recently in Longville on a fishing trip. I ended up with a sharp rock stuck in my tire and it went flat. I took the tire off and put on the spare. I took the tire to Nornberg Auto and was going to drop it off for repair. It was 45 minutes before closing time. Not only did they take the tire and fix it immediately, The installed it back on my truck for no extra charge. Top Notch !!!
